"In the past titles, if a player found a different solution to the on we'd intended, we'd call it a bug'"
This right here, is the precise thing that has been plauging nintendo games like zelda and metroid since the n64 generation. It started as a design desicion due to the limitations of the time, and was never adressed and reassessed when those limitations went away. It is so vindicating to see them adress this after harping on it for so long, and to see it be everything I knew it would be with breath of the wild.
Now for the love of Gunpei Nintendo do it for metroid. Player agency is not a glitch. Its the basis of design your games had that made them the iconic franchises they are today. Bring them back, with all the boons of modern technology.
Somebody should have really thought about whether having a snow white character, in a game primarily composed of snow white backdrops, was a particularly good idea.
The really sad part is... I think they did, and that is why he is wearing a top hat and purple mittens...... Which is like putting a band aid on a decapitation.
@JaxonH Its more that it is illegal to upload the ROM.... Which is what makes it available for others to download...
When you buy a game. Actually buy a game, this only pertains to retail releases, you don't actually own games you buy digitally... When you own a game you can do whatever you want with it. You can make as many backups as you want, you can play those ROM backups you made on any system you want. You can hack and modify the title in any way you see fit. You own the game.
Once you make that back up (or any modified version of the rom like rom hacks) available to someone else, like uploading it to the internet so people who did NOT buy the game can download it, you have exceeded your consumer rights and are infringing on the rights of the game maker.
So obviously, someone downloading that ROM would also be an infringement.
Good God this is a horrible, horrible writeup. Just awful, built on an erroneous foundation, backed by logical fallacies, and riddled with the cancer destroying my hobby.
1. In what way shape or form was the Wii u targeting the 'hardcore' market? Was it with all those franchises I bought the system for that NEVER APPEARED? Was it for all those in depth immersive adventures I can always count on a Nintendo stems to have? Nope. No metroid, still no Zelda yet, the only game of its kind on the entire system for the entire generation is freaking xenoblade. That's it. I have a shelf full of similar engrossing experiences for my Wii. One game for my Wii u. That I waited 3/4ths of a generation for. How the hell was the Wii u 'Targeting the hardcore gamer'?
2. 'Return to Nintendo like profits.' You are pure cancer. This garbage rhetoric surfaced after the investor flood that followed the Wii and Ds. This NEVER EXISTED BEFORE THAT. Nintendo has never had profits like the Wii and Ds before. The concept that that is some standard that Nintendo has always had is completely false. And that false narrative being swallowed hook line and sinker by morons whos sole interest is flipping their stock shares is tearing Nintendo ragged.
A return to Nintendo like profits would be a return to a sensible conservative business model that is self sustainable.creating their own experience, filling it with a large library of quality content. That's how Wii and Ds were created in the first place. Thats how splatoon was created. Not chasing the golden 'casual' egg trying to flip a quick buck. That's how federation forces was created.
There is no quick fix for Nintendo's situation, no golden ticket, and no magical 'casual' audience the only thing that can fix the damage Nintendo has done with the Wii u, is by slowly earning back the trust of everyone they burned, and the people who watched them get burned by having a platform with a full diverse library of quality titles, so that people know its safe to get a Nintendo systems and have a satisfying amount of titles they enjoy to play.
We don't need expensive machines to innovate, even the Wii u right now has the hardware power to do things NEVER done before design wise. Its not system power holding design back, and its not a controller gimmick either. Nintendo needs to focus on actual good engaging game design, and satisfying the people who still want it. There is way, WAY more than enough people who are dissatisfied with the AAAAAAAA garbage treadmill, and would rather slam their head repeatedly in a door than suffer 'casual' mind numbing happeess models, the kind of people who just want to have the kind of engaging adventure Nintendo once wrote the book on, more tham enough of these, to make a sustainable profit on. And then this amazing thing happens Nintendo. When you have this audience of happy satisfied people around you, other people start joining them.
All this machinery making modern gaming can still be open-hearted,
Not so coldly charted it's really just A question of your honesty, yeah, your honesty.
One likes to believe in the freedom of design. But glittering prizes and endless compromises, shatter the illusion of integrity.
And here we have someone screaming to carve the words of the profits on the studio walls...
@crimsontadpoles Just as quickly as attempts were made for anything else (so basically instantly).
Fortunately this wouldnt be a brainless broken process like youtubes content id garbage.
Basically there would have to be a demonstratable difference applied to an arbitrary number (20%) which all just basically boils down to the common sense of the judge.
Things like trying to copyright 'push a to jump' would be written off as frivolous. Trying to copyright something like say metroidvania would be about as possible as trying to copyright the concept of comedy.
Straight ripoffs would be taken to task quite handedly though. Like all those lousy phone/steam games that are basically ripped mario levels with different characters.
@Therad Like you said thats a patent, not copywrite. The main point of contention on this is that copywrite protection, which is specifically about works of art and protection for artistic expression.... And that gameplay mechanics are videogames purest form of expression, and their unique defining trait for the medium. This troglodite-esque, malinformed, primitive train of thought basically completely denigrates videogames, only acknowledging the parts of them that are easily recognizable from previously existing media mediums.
To a common sense limit, of course you can't copyright some game mechanics, Darth Nocturnal gives a sarcastic, but perfectly poignant reason why.
That being said, the only way to truly copy mechanics, beyond something as brain dead simplistic as what is in this article, is to steal the code, which IS protected by copyright.
Lets face it, the only way some western AAAA mook is going to get platinum level combat mechanics is
A: Hire platinum games. B: Steal code. C: Actually learn how to make an engaging and exciting combat system.
A is happening, b is punishable by law, and if C ever happens, that means they learned the skills to pay the bills, and it would be unique unto them anyways.
The only real problem with this article is this line right here, wherever it came from:
'The game mechanics cannot be considered as being expressive.'
In regaurds to videogames, this is blatantly false.
The mechanics of super mario bros very clearly convey the expression of joy and happiness. It is pure and dense in its gameplay expression, and extremely easy to see when watching someone play.
Similarly, zelda and once upon a time metroids game mechanics and design philosophy express concepts of adventure, discovery, exploration, triumph and victory,
the very erroneous concept stated here, is exactly why the industry is so homogenous and stagnant today.
Just stop. Your blind frothing defense of nintendo because it is doing far more damage than good.
Other M was fantastic graphically. Other m was more than servicable mechanically. For the most part it was pretty good control wise.
But other m was a complete and absolute train wreck where it matters most for metroid. Other M wasnt just a bad game. And make no mistake about it, no matter how great the graphics were, and how servicable the controls were, none of that matters in the face of how badly other m destroyed the fundamental core of metroid.
Other M wasnt just a bad metroid game.... It was so backwards in design it was an antithesis to metroid design.
You can completely throw everything out the window for metroid except that core. You can turn it from a sidescroller to first person, you can turn samus from a hummingbird on crack zipping around into a clumsy sluggish tank, you can change the combat from a twitchy 2d shooter to some wierd lock on system where you dont even need to aim.
As long as the core is intact, the exploration and power up based progression design, the game feels like metroid.... Even if everything else is way different.
Other M disowned the core of metroid, wholly, completely, and on purpose.
In Metroid You explore a mysterious world to find a power up.
In other M you go to the blue dot on the map, following the green doors. All other doors are locked, and glow red. When you get to the dot the game authorizes a power up for you.
In Metroid aquiring a power up lets you rethink everything you have experienced with the new powerup in mind so you can use it to explore new ateas and progress the game.
In other m you follow the green doors to the next cutscene/blue dot.
Ninyendo purposefully destroyed metroid game design bevause they actually thought that the very thing that made metroid an iconic videogame legend was the barrier to entry keeping the game from selling like mario kart. That if they removed metroid game design, and replaced it with the same walk to the next cutscene design western publisher conglomerates constantly crap out, that it would then SELL, like games from western publishers.
Nintendo fully believed metroid for morons was going to be a sales titan. They checked all the same boxes as those AAAAAAAAAA ps360 games. You can go back and read the interviews right now, they are completely clueless aboit why other m didnt fly off shelves.
And the reason they are so clueless, is there are too many of you.
Thats why we have federation forces. No you dont need to play it. Anyone can see the game is designed nothing like a metroid game, and everything like a bog standard co-op arena shooter. And not a particularly interesting one at that.
Nintendo still thinks that metroids problem is that its not stupid enough to sell. Quit defending that. Nothing will get better until that happens.
was watching with the sound off and was a little confused by the end, but I figured this is a compilation of games that haven't declined.... before number 1.
I don't know if its nice to see or depressing that there really are so few... particularly since I would cut that list in half.
Mass Effect: The series was intended to be a modernization of Starflight, a game light years ahead of its time, from one of the most amazing developer supporting publishing houses ever: Electronic arts... Before they literally stabbed their better half in the back, sold their souls, and became the publisher equivilant of Crowley from supernatural, promising talented independent studios that things will be just like they were, but they will have all the funding power of EA, and then liquidating them before the ink dries.
Anyone who actually knows what starflight is, can pretty quickly piece together what mass effect was supposed to be, and how badly it spectacularly failed thanks to a decision from EA forcing bioware to change track (Gamers are too stupid today for starflight, make it an amusement park ride for morons and throw in some cartoon tits, the underagers will think its tops).
By now the people who have played starflight have realized what could have been with the modern technology of the ps360, and what they will now never play, and that it was supposed to be mass effect, and are probably pleading to any supernatural being who will listen for a soul trade to make it happen.... They can not un-know the knowledge I have cruelly bestowed upon them. Sorry. Not really, my hell needs company.
DOOM 2016 is amazing, but I feel this deserves a special mention... Because it almost seems like an accident. Doom 3 completely ditched what the series did, to be a slightly above average but bog standard 7th gen fps with monsters.... Doom 2016 was shaping up to be a complete CoD rip off terd... If you don't know what I am talking about google the changes in the games dev cycle, we seriously dodged a terd bullet by the skin of our teeth... And then Bethseda, was apparently AFRAID to advertise doom as DOOM, the amazing true to the roots fps people are freaking out over, and altered the game footage for marketing to look like some garbage worst generation lowest denominator pandering FPS... It wasn't until nvidia released their performance video that anybody had any clue that DOOM 2016 wasn't meant to be on this list. If you don't take anything else away from this... Be very VERY wary about how much power marketing suits who don't know jack about games have over your favourite franchises. All the franchises on this list, and all that I have mentioned here, have been changed by MARKETING TEAMS telling publishers to tell development staff how to make games that will sell more... Not the people actually making the games... And to that end, if you step back and look at the big picture, you will see these games, were all more or less ruined the same exact way.
Metroid absolutely needs to be up there, and as a Nintendo centric site, I am totally calling you guys on it. You aren't protecting Nintendo by pretending nothing is wrong, you are helping destroy it.
Zelda should be up there. Its nowhere near as downhill as metroid, and the new Zelda, from everything being said, seems to be heading in the right direction, but they said the same thing about link between worlds, and their attempt at achieving that solution completely neutered progression and world design. The game made great use of its wall gimmick, and the dungeons were fine... but that overworld was a giant bland stain on a zelda adventure.... Do we really want to wait and see if Zelda slides on down with metroid before letting Nintendo know its okay to make great adventures again even if might get lost for a little bit along the way?
Gods, I can only hope this game makes good on its promise to follow through on the early zelda design philosophies, with the power of modern technology.
The thought of actually discovering a temple in that kind of free world...
And then the inevitable letdown when I know its just going to be following the purple dot on a map with icons vomited everywhere...
Publish: Prepare and issue for public sale. They are putting their brand on the game, they are publishing it. Your attempt at an argument is irrelevant. They are localizing this game in the west like this because it lines up with the current direction they are taking: Pacifiers for morons.
You dont need to design a game for morons to make it for kids. Kids beat Zelda. Kids beat Metroid. Kids beat freaking star flight.
You also addressed less than 1% of anything I said. But keep enabling them. Its always the most amusing when your type finally loses it and becomes anti Nintendo zealots.
More cringeworthy corporate apologism.. Yay.... Sigh...
This shows that Nintendo no longer respects children, and thinks they are idiots, and thats what they are designing, a pacifier for idiots.
Also, how is a website dedicated to Nintendo so consistantly ignorant about Nintendo related events and the history of the medium they blindly worship? Oh.. Yeah, I guess that wouldbe the blind worship.
"Nintendo is Kiddy" Is not some "Phrase some of us use as weapons" Its Tom Kalinskes manufactured halo effect marketing campaign he turned sega around with in the 90's, Ill give you the elevator version of his pitch.
1. Stop targeting intelligent children.
2. Target stupid kids. They are easy to manipulate, and more obnoxious and persistent to parents when responding to marketing.
3. Directly insult Nintendo. "Make fun of them. Make it look like owning Nintendo is the most uncool thing in the world. That its a kiddie toy". Anyone who says Nintendo is kiddy is a brainwashed marketing tool.
Nintendo NEVER used to treat kids like idiots. Read this garbage:
" Teddy’s cute reactions and encouraging personality are sure to bring a smile to any child’s face, which might even help them grow in confidence and self-esteem. "
You know what grows confidence and self esteem? Problem solving skills, critical thinking skills, reading comprehension, self reliance. Testing at a college reading level at the end of the third grade thanks to games and interactive entertainment made for children who were NOT assumed to be morons.
STOP ASSUMING CHILDREN ARE STUPID.
There is no trick Nintendo. There is no fad. Nothing has changed except you. Even now there is that same group of kids, there is more born every day. Kids who want more mental engagement than the drooling morons around them. Except now, there is no videogame industry to give it to them, because its pandering to the drooling morons.
You can continue your slide into irrelevancy with your attempts to keep trying to cash in on a half baked get rich quick business model.... Attempting to jingle keys louder than microsoft and sony, or pre-emptively indoctrinate the morons like you are trying to do here. Which wont work. They respond to negative halo effects far more strongly.
Or you can go back to what made you what you are, and give those kids a real adventure, and build that dedicated following, through a sustainable business model of reasonably budgeted products with exceptional design.
Holy crap at the parralax layering and non flickering with all those sprites, and the amount of simultaneous scripts the stars are following as well. Is there a processor in the cart? My gut says no, too pricey. Regaurdless I bow to their clear mastery of the 6502.
Its speculation, the mh is shorthand for merely hypothetical.
This is a Nintendo enthusiast site.... The very thought of a situation like this should be beyond reproach. Get your act together guys. Being rag bags is not a luxury you should enjoy indulging in.
@ianolivia Nintendo isn't actually doing anything in this particular situation....
Its YouTube's trash automated claims system... The whole damn thing needs to be thrown into a fire, its been blatantly obvious since its introduction that its completey broken
Wow. pathetic Dyack. Last ditch attempt at pandering to the one group you think is stupid enough, and indoctrinated enough by marketing to virally hate fund his game.
Its not going to happen Dyack. The only reason Eternal Darkness was any good was because of Nintendo's strict oversight. The second you walked on that everything you did was garbage. Lots of people want Eternal Darkness 2. The problem for you is the vast majority of them are rather intelligent and as such didn't jump on the worst generation bandwagon when gen 7 hit.
Many of us want an ED2, but we will stoicly see the IP die before we fund what will obviously be as hideous parody of what we actually want. That's what we do, its what we have always done. It doesnt matter how much marketing is thrown at us, we arent the worst generation. Its why you don't see bubsy running around today. We killed it, because it was trash. Its why shadow of the eternals failed funding twice. Good luck appealing to the worst generation/gutter garbage... Part of me wishes they did take your moronically obvious bait and hate fund the game like the complete idiots you think they are, just so I can see how hilariously dumbed down the game would have to be to pander to them.
The most important aspect of this actually being something worthwhile is whether or not the editor has a robust system for creating a wide variety of unique and custom power ups.
The powerups are the absolute core of the games design, and everything in the game is driven by them, from pacing, to progression design, to world design.
Without that kind of a system, this will be little more than a distraction.
@Luffymcduck Yeah, The list of on the mark criticisms pointing to pokemons laundry lists of problems it refuses to adress is enough to interest anyone....
But pointing out a problem is not the same thing as adressing it. This is basically pokemon revamped by the worst generation, full of moronic story, cringeworthy dialog, bad design, and general "Gamer" garbage that has pretty much completely destroyed videogames over the past decade.
For anyone (Everyone) Who really wishes something like this could happen that isnt complete garbage like this, I suggest you guys find a way to check out the Game Boy Color game Magination. It already did happen, and although it obviously can't rip off the actual pokemon itself... Its pretty dang great.
Tons of monsters to capture and use, five at a time fights, plenty of exploration, adventure style design, great dungeons legendary monsters to find... Multiple endings... depending on actual player actions... Good stuff.
I don't know why this is on the front page, but I seriously can't believe this flaming pile of trash got a 10/10.
You aren't reviewing the original release, you are reviewing the virtual console title, which is abysmal laggy glitchy trash.
The lag is so bad, and the emulation is so inaccurate, that some levels actually just completely fail to play properly, like star roads red yoshi (With the blocks) level. And NO I'm not talking about the TV, I am talking about the gamepad, which actually lags WAY behind the TV, which is the exact opposite of pretty much everything else.
This is a horrible review that reeks of conspicuous consumerism.
The entire point of reviews is to protect the customer, Nintendo can afford its own PR.
If you actually care about Nintendo, demand better of them, you should demand they treat their legends better than this, because if you don't, they wont.
The DS Zelda's have a glorified map screen replacing the once peerless design of a zelda overworld.
And Minish cap is really small, gimmicky, completely railroaded, has the worst most pointless "Sidequest" in the series, in the form of the god awful 'Gacha' design for absolutely nothing worthwhile. But man does it have some of the most gorgeous pixel art ever.
If you want to know why Zelda became an Icon of Video games on the go, get Links Awakening.
Yoshi is correct. For some reason, VC titles have the most lag in general.... Although 2 frames is really REALLY good, especially compared to the vast majority of HDTV's (Or some of the other god awful Virtual title releases.... NERD did good), it is more lag than actually playing on a ds .
I hope there is a good emulator in the package. Hopefully bring some good news data for the compatability tables.
@aaronsullivan No, but they used too. But thats dead now. Literally.
Nintendo is rapidly conforming to every moronic frothing at the bit for a flip shareholders demands to become just like every other AAA garbage heap, and unless this is the beginning of a sudden reversal of direction...
Get used to more like Federation forces, which is a bog standard co-op arena shooter with metroid branding slapped onto it to, and I quote "Leverage the branding power of our IP's", and kiss things that are actually unique, like actual Metroid, of which nothing like it exists anywhere any more, good bye.
@aaronsullivan That no longer applies with the worst generation, there is no longer a distinction.
Which is why they cant comprehend its simple meaning.
For the head scratchers, its talking the unique brand of game design Nintendo once wielded that trail blazed and molded an entire medium. Unless the slogan is a promise to cast off the current direction of atrophied design, and pandering to the lowest common worst generation moron, its a hollow promise and a moot point.
Sorry, but this is a weak fallacious argument that reeks of the marketing brain washing and ownership of the worst generation.
There is no such thing as an objective score, that is such a cringe inducing assertion.
The only thing scores are doing is enabling mindless morons to continue being mindless morons farmed by marketing campaigns, without any independent thought of their own.
This is why Activision and EA Publically crow that your generation is a bunch of morons they have brainwashed to gargle anything their marketing tells them, no matter how crappy, lousy, and de-evolving the garbage gets. Your generation doesn't give a crap about whether a game is actual quality or not. They want to look at a number and validate how 'Sophisticated' they are for listening to their platform of choices marketing splooge, as games are reduced to the digital form of jingling keys in front of an infant as they mindlessly giggle and clap their hands.
Jingle jingle jingle.
"Hurr hurr hurr"
clap clap clap
Jingle jingle jingle"
"Hurr hah haa!!!"
clap clap clap
All that matters is their precious cancerous metacritic average. If a review comes out with a number that is good for the metacritic score, regaurdless of what is actually written in the article, they giggle and clap their hands like those infants so easily amused by jingling keys. If its a score that is bad for the matacritic, they rave and foam at the mouth, and spew literary defication from their keyboard, demanding that the score matches the marketing hype they have been trained to believe the game actually is.
Maybe, if they are forced to read, use basic problem solving skills, deduction skills, and reading comprehension skills, the worst generation will just opt to forget the whole damn thing and go find a hobby that requires less thought and effort to mindlessly hurl idle opinions about, and we will finally be able to begin to repair the smoldering ruins of our hobby they have been defecating on for the past decade.
A Nintendo site ESPECIALLY should know the garbage associated with metacritic and weighted numerical reviews controlled by ad budgets, since they have been sufering from Tom Kalinske's manufactured Halo effect marketing campaign since the 90's.
Ever hear someone say Nintendo is kiddy? Give Tom a Nickel for every time you have ever heard it, that was the exact statement he said he wanted to achieve with his psychological anti nintendo marketing campaign, it was his marketing campaign that created that bias with kids and eventually the entirety of modern games media (Kids grow up, even stupid ones that are easily manipulated). Giving a game a damn near flawless written review, and then a 7 or 8 with some arbitrary garbage like 'its good, but its a wii game', because its that kiddy Nintendo has been a standard go to for over two generations.
The new 3ds has a considerably beefier cpu than the old 3ds.
The old 3ds has a 2 core arm 11 with each core having a VFPv2 co-processor (Vector floating point number crunchers... not exactly the best in the world, but people are starting to get great work out of them). 1 core was reserved for the os, which left the system with 1 core for doing games, the second core was eventually unlocked and pro-rated, but still, it had to run the os, and couldnt be fully utilized) it was clocked at 268 MHz.
The new 3ds has 4 arm 11 cores with 4 VFPv2 co-processors, and each one is clocked at 804 MHz.... Thats clocked higher than the vita... its almost 2x higher than the vita's 'boosted' cpu clock speed of 444 MHz. So, not only do you already have 3x the cpu cores you can completely dedicate to games, but each one is clocked 3x higher. THats pretty huge, and honestly, is something the 3ds should have launched with. A system that lives or dies by having to spit out 2x the number of frames for its 3d effect, and you bottle neck its draw calls? Bad show.
So yes, the new 3ds is clocked higher than the vita... No, that doesnt mean its anywhere near as powerful as the vita.... It does mean its a whole heckuva a lot easier to do stuff like emulation of older systems though (Which is one reason why the n3ds homebrew seen has exploded compared to the vita).
Yes, there are snes emulators on og 3ds, but they ran like hot garbage, and the only way to get close to a decent framerate was to turn off the sound.
Meanwhile, on n3ds, those emulators run like a dream. Heck, even the playstation emulator runs at a more than playable framerate on the n3ds (Alundra runs at 54 fps for me... and 2d games were hard for the playstation hardware)
Its not that the 3ds isnt powerful enough to run games from an ancient system, thats not what emulation does, its that the 3ds doesnt have the cpu power to read the old games code, translate and convert it into a language the 3ds processor can execute, recompile it, and execute the new translated code fast enough to have a playable framerate.

Re: Texas Court Ruling States That Game Mechanics Can't Be Protected by Copyright
Re: Texas Court Ruling States That Game Mechanics Can't Be Protected by Copyright
Re: Video: Weep with Us Over these Top Five Gaming Series that Ain't What They Used to Be
@BulbasaurusRex "Other M is still a great".
Stop.
Re: Video: Weep with Us Over these Top Five Gaming Series that Ain't What They Used to Be
was watching with the sound off and was a little confused by the end, but I figured this is a compilation of games that haven't declined.... before number 1.
Re: Two 'Extended' E3 Demos Expected for The Legend of Zelda on Wii U
Gods, I can only hope this game makes good on its promise to follow through on the early zelda design philosophies, with the power of modern technology.
The thought of actually discovering a temple in that kind of free world...
And then the inevitable letdown when I know its just going to be following the purple dot on a map with icons vomited everywhere...
Re: Inti Creates CEO Takuya Aizu Really Doesn't Like The New Mighty No. 9 Trailer
They are thinking the same thing every other marketing company thinks when dealing with video games.
Target morons. Appeal to morons. Pander to morons. Gamers=Morons.
Re: Talking Point: The Online Reaction to Teddy Together Shows Why Nintendo Needs To Target Kids More Directly
@empsolo
Its Bandai and Arika. But thats irrelevant.
Re: Talking Point: The Online Reaction to Teddy Together Shows Why Nintendo Needs To Target Kids More Directly
Re: SurveyMonkey Intelligence Breaks Down the Declining Usage of Miitomo
It has a severe lack of engagement problem, because there is nothing engaging in it.
Re: There's A New Famicom Game Being Released In Japan
Holy crap at the parralax layering and non flickering with all those sprites, and the amount of simultaneous scripts the stars are following as well. Is there a processor in the cart? My gut says no, too pricey. Regaurdless I bow to their clear mastery of the 6502.
Re: Rumour: Nintendo's Next Generation Handheld Is Codenamed "MH"
This is embarrassing.
Its speculation, the mh is shorthand for merely hypothetical.
This is a Nintendo enthusiast site.... The very thought of a situation like this should be beyond reproach. Get your act together guys. Being rag bags is not a luxury you should enjoy indulging in.
Re: It Wasn't Nintendo's Idea To Mix Minecraft And Super Mario Together
@ianolivia Nintendo isn't actually doing anything in this particular situation....
Its YouTube's trash automated claims system... The whole damn thing needs to be thrown into a fire, its been blatantly obvious since its introduction that its completey broken
Re: Denis Dyack Blames "Unethical" Journalists For Almost Killing Shadow Of The Eternals
Wow. pathetic Dyack.
Re: Legend Maker Aims to Allow Gamers to Create Their Own Adventures With Links to the Past
Re: It Wasn't Nintendo's Idea To Mix Minecraft And Super Mario Together
Good God Nintendo.
You couldn't even think of this on your own? Seriously? Nintendo seriously needs to get their head back into the game.
Re: Meet The Edgy And Mature Fan-Made Pokémon Game That Aims To "Fix" The Series
Good stuff.
Re: Rumour: Details Emerge on Disney Infinity's Canned Future Plans and Cancellation
@Luffymcduck The life and times of Scrooge McDuck would be wasted on this generation.
Re: Review: Blockara (Wii U eShop)
@Dankykong Danky's pretty Kranky...
Not that disagree....
Re: Review: Super Mario World (Wii U eShop / SNES)
Re: Talking Point: The Crowded Toys To Life Market Cut Its Weakest Link in Disney Infinity, Yet amiibo Should Be Safe
Wow... Nintendo PR send in that title for you?
Re: Assassin's Creed Movie Trailer Leaps Out Of The Shadows And Into The Spanish Inquisition
This picture perfectly encapsulates how idiotic this series is.
Re: The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass Arrives on the North American VC Tomorrow
@MrSands They were all pretty mediocre.
Re: The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass Arrives on the North American VC Tomorrow
@Yoshi @Megumi_Sagano
Re: Nintendo of America Has a Snazzy New Slogan - "There's No Play Like It"
@Mega719
There is no pun on play. That part is straight. The whole thing is straight.
Its a play on a common phrase, but there is no word play or pun usage, it is very straightforward.
Re: Nintendo of America Has a Snazzy New Slogan - "There's No Play Like It"
@aaronsullivan No, but they used too.
Re: Nintendo of America Has a Snazzy New Slogan - "There's No Play Like It"
@aaronsullivan That no longer applies with the worst generation, there is no longer a distinction.
Re: Nintendo of America Has a Snazzy New Slogan - "There's No Play Like It"
None of the modern generation understands what it means.... Because it is no longer true.
Re: Review: Sssnakes (3DS eShop)
The art work got my hopes up that it would be an homage to snake rattle n roll.
Too bad.
Re: Soapbox: Game Reviews Always Need a Final Score
Re: Review: Chasing Dead (Wii U eShop)
Do you guys know that you kept using the same 2 pictures over and over?
Re: Here's Why SNES VC Games Can Only be Played on a New 3DS
This is 100% True
