I would love to see Nintendo step up and purchase Vigil. I played a little of Darksiders II and I liked it.

I have the WiiWare version. This game is excellent. I totally recommend this if you like these kind of games.

New hardware, happens all the time. Look at the games that look better on the Wii U like Aliens: Colonial Marines, ACIII, and Tekken Tag Tournament 2. Their respective developers all had help from Nintendo. Treyarch hasn't gotten used to the system yet.

@Fudge This list is not the Top 20 Most "Innovative" Wii games. Just overall quality and fun. DKCR is a throwback game, building upon already existing ideas. You may have not liked it, but most critics did because it was challenging and an overall fun game. The game has a 87 on Metacritic and leaving it out of the Top 20 would be foolish because it was just so highly rated.

Of course, not everyone is going to agree with this list. Arguing the placements of certain games is just silly. I get forgetting to include some favorites, but complaining where a particular title should go is pointless.

@Fudge: DKCR shouldn't be in the top 20? Are you mad?

Pretty good list. You guys should have made it a Top 25. Naturally I disagree with some placements, but the only real complaint I have is that I have is how Wii Sports is higher than Resort.
