@WaxxyOne With new models I mean remakes of the ones used in the original. As anyone who has ever modeled in 3D would tell you, higher resolution models weight more than lower res ones. Textures are also quite heavy, even if they are cell shaded. If you take into account the amount of character and objects in this game it's very easy to see that if they upgraded them they would easily fill that one gb. As for better music, I mean orchestrated music, instead of Midi files, which, depending on the compression method they use, taking into account the amount of music there is and considering it has to be in, at least, 5.1 sourround, it can easily fill one extra gb on its own.
The new dungeon thing it's just a hope I still had.
that's a little bit more than 1gb bigger than the original, which means, bigger textures more and better models and... that's it, in that space you can't include orchestrated music, improved sound effects or new dungeons. Well, at least it's in HD, isn't it? PS: Still gonna buy it.
@Fillytase Now, don't come tell me that Nintendoland is enough of a game to keep you busy for more than two weeks. For us who are upgrading from the PS3 and already have a PS+ account the PS4 is going to have a "free" version of Drive Club, wich is also a two week, tops, experience. Besides that membership gives you monthly games and if you have a Vita that means many more, and if I you don't get rid of your PS3 way more. Paid multiplayer is a sucky choice, but it carries more value than the Xlive one. No announced bundles? Go to Amazon, Gamestop, or whatever store you like and you'll see that bundles are the only choice. The "basic" PS4 model will have a 500gb hard drive, that's way more than 32gb, and more than enough for the average gamer; besides, you can upgrade it to anything you need. The memory cards and HDMI cable issue I won't argue.
As much as we hate to admit it, the PS4 has way more value for the money than the WiiU. UNTIL Smash Bros. and a new Zelda come out, then I'll consider them on par.
@BATRA When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east. when the seas go dry and mountains blow in the wind like leaves, when the Xbox One becomes a hit in Japan. Then it will come, and not before.
@Microwaveable1 No, they are not. E.T. was a fairly good game, the problem with it was that it wasn't a "straight forward grab the controller and shoot game", you had to read the manual to know what to do, and let's face it, kids then and now don't read manuals, in today's games that would be solved by adding a tutorial but in that time there wasn't enough space to add it.
"from what I understand having separate regions allows lower pricing in poorer countries" That's not true, here in Mexico WiiU games, either at the eshop or at retail, are sold for the equivalent of $80 us dollars.
If they paired the Pokemon X & Y with a decent WiiU Pokémon game, a la Pokémon Stadium, the WiiU would fly of shelves so fast they could escape earth's gravity. Nintendo knows it, why they don't do it is beyond my comprehension.
How about a new combat system? Zelda's combat system has been the same since Ocarina. Yes they changed the controls from button presses to arm swings, but the overall system is exactly the same.
@Darknyht The problem is not that they take a franchise and use it over and over again, the problem is that Ubisoft's aproach to franchises is direct sequels which brings lots and lots of f***** cliffhangers.
@SteveW I agree with you everything's fake, videogames feel like just light coming out of a box with a piece of glass on the front, and sound is just vibrating air caused by magnetic rings moving back and forth very fast
@ramstrong I'm not saying Nintendo should release it for a PC, these emulators can upscale Wind Waker on PCs not even half as powerful as the WiiU, what I'm saying is that Nintendo should step it up, offer something better than the emulator's "non profesionals" do.
@ramstrong what @Yorumi said, besides there are HD texture packs made by the community that look a lot better than the WiiU version. Not only for the Wind Waker but for a lot of games.
All I want is a full pokedex with all the pokémon available in this edition without having to trade with the older ones. Yes, even the older starters. "Charmander I choose you!".
@Moose_4 6 weeks? How about day one DLC and season passes, they already have those damn things in mind before the completion of the "full" game. I hate it.
This was a great idea, this way they get used to working with the WiiU learn the programming tricks and stuff, then they start working on a big game, brilliant. just brilliant.
"Software downloaded from the Nintendo eShop will include released updates and will no longer need to be updated after installation" now this kicks PS3's little sorry ass.
My thoughts are that Bill and Reggie lokked way more stressed than Iwata did. Poor guys WiiU sales are hitting them hard.
Also, can't wait for all the Zelda goodnes coming later this year, specially both Oracle ones.
Edit: Looked lol
I got the Link to the Past in the box, never played for $10 Dollars, also a Vanguard copy for the Atari 2600 still in its original shrink wrap for a dollar.

Vita TV is a good product, but it's not a real threat to NIntendo, as long as it's not 1080p.

@Jono97 Consoles have never been more powerful than regular PCs. They succeeded because they are cheaper and easier to use than a PC.
