Tbh Among Us is still triving, its just not nearly as discussed at a more critical level. Because memes.
Reminds me of a certain 2012 hack and slash made by Platinum Games which is based off of a stealth game that blew up in popularity with a PS1 game. I think it was called Dirt Cog Gas?
Im confused, is this all ACE on an original copy of the game, or it it ACE on a rom hack? Because i dunno how else the BOTW sequence would be possible otherwise.
Honestly, coincidence or not, i headcanon both as Bi. And if anyone wants to say that i desperately want to make them gay, first off, yes i am thank you very much, and second, you could cut their tension with a butter knife, it's that apparent.
Honestly, Nintendo and Online have had a very interesting relationship. The SNES had the Satellaview, N64 had the N64DD (And for how dumb it is, somehow has more features than NSO.), and the Gamecube had LAN Play, and online with PSO Episodes 1 and 2. Hell, the ONLY mainline console without wifi capabilities was..the NES. Back when the internet didn't exist. They HAVE invested in online stuff..it's just that they've always been behind the curve. Which in the Wii days, may of been excusable, it was a few years after Xbox Live hit the console scene after all, but when Splatoon 2 has a function that checks if the game is running on WINDOWS 95, and SSBU still runs on decades old netcode, it's an absolute joke.
In all honesty..i would love a Switch port. Despite what memes that come from people that have never played the game have said, Genshin is genuinely pretty solid, not perfect, but it has a lot going for it. The music is, by far, THE most consistantly good OST out of any video game. Hands down. The visuals look fantastic. The design of the map is incredible. The writing is better than BOTW, mainly because Genshin actually has a story instead of 20 cutscenes and a few books. (Still love BOTW's story). The gameplay is surprisingly engaging, with all of the characters bringing something unique to the table. But, it isn't perfect, as i said. The gacha mechanics sure are gacha mechanics..but i dunno, i feel as if some people are a bit too strict on them, they're still gacha mechanics..but it could be SO much worse. The resin grind hits HARD in the late game. It isn't "finished" (which is dumb, do people just expect the devs to drop 4 MASSIVE new areas, with god knows how many characters, sub areas, quests and whatnot in a few weeks?) But, at least it's free. If you can, go check it out at the very least, don't let memes comparing it to Metal Gear Rising Revengance decide your opinion on a decently widely available game.
Totally not surprised to see this. Despite what he said, i bet that tons of other 1st party Nintendo games, from back then and now have had this exact same issue with crunch.
Eh, it's just another bargin bin fanservice game. Nothing special at all really. Worst thing it's done for me is reminded me that Genshin still hasn't been ported yet..
I got SMT4 and 4 Apocalypse from the Atlas sale, and i gotta say, having fun. If you wanna pick an SMT game if you're now to the francise, however, pick Devil Survivor Overclocked. It's an amazing introduction to the series as a whole..but the rest of the franchise is kinda bs at times so do be careful. Whatever you do, don't pick up Strange Journey afterwards, that's so much worse when it comes to difficulty. It's on an entirely other level.
Honestly, this seems like a waste of money. The Switch's main issue is that it's underpowered. Even compaired to the original Xbox One, it's weak. And i don't get why either, isn't the Switch running off of Nvidia tech? Why wouldn't they use better chips, instead of one that was considered outdated at launch? And besides that, the Switch is selling like hotcakes? Why wouldn't they make a definitive Pro version, it would bring in people that were concerned about the hardware being mediocre at best, and middling at worst, and it would give games that struggle to run in the first place some actual breathing room.
I bought this game with my spare money after purchasing MBTL..and man was this a waste of spare change. There's absolutely no content to enjoy, which is a shame, since Puzzle and Dragons on 3DS was a damn solid package..
Honestly, not picking it up either way, mainly because of reasons surrounding the creator of Harry Potter in general, but that entire spiel is for another day. The game itself looks decently solid so far, so who knows, maybe ill buy it secondhand if it's good enough, but as is, im gonna wait this one out.
Really cool to see. While we may not get much in terms of FGC news, it's STILL the visionaries of some of the best fighting games in the market meeting up.
@UglyCasanova The Persona 4 Arena Ultimax thing is more so the developer (ArcSystemWorks) not bothering. The Switch can handle rollback, hell, Nickelodeon All Star Brawl, Melty Blood Type Lumina, and even the Switch Online SNES emulator runs on rollback.
Not into the series this is based off of, but as an FGC fanatic, im excited for this. Pretty sure it runs on GGPO rollback for it's netcode, which works wonders for things like Skullgirls, SF3: Online Edition (Which we still haven't gotten any ports for), and Fightcade. Can't wait to see how this pans out on Switch.
@Rika_Yoshitake What about the outrage about the PS Vita/PS3 stores shutting down (which was changed, but the PSP stores are still going down), or Xbox Live Arcade? The rage is far from selective.
@AstroTheGamosian Then what about Fortnite? Hell, that has Aloy, not to mention Master Chief, and yet, it's on Switch, Xbox, Playstation, PC, and Mobile. I don't think it's because of legal reasons with crossover characters.
@Dr-M There isn't exactly a modern YuGiOh game that has a good single player. While YuGiOh 5-D's 2011 is good, it was released nearly a decade ago. But, there is a very good unofficial simulator called EDOPro, and there's one that was in closed beta last time i checked named YGO Omega, but it may very well be out at this point, and while their single player options aren't the best, they're better suited towards learning the competitive environment, due to how customizable the A.I is. But if that isn't your cup of tea, the only other option is Link Evolution, but it's single player is a boring grindfest due to the packs you need to constantly need to open to make a semi decent deck, on top of the fact that it's another retelling of the animes, without VAing, and with no personality. At least the unofficial sims have all of the cards unlocked, and are updated regularly.
I know a lot of people don't really care about this, but man, i love the fact that the story isn't just gonna be the animes retold for the hundredth time. It's the card lore, which has been unknown for the most part, due to most of the actual lore being in Japanese only artbooks. And i can see why they waited so long to do so, YuGiOh is CONSTANTLY updated with new cards, so making a live service game (even if it is Konami, but they did well enough with Duel Links) means that they can also keep the story up to date. Plus, it means lore fanatics (including myself) have more reason to play than this just being a really promising game with amazing presentation, and some interesting possibilities for the competitive scene. Oh, and cross play and save is nice i suppose.

Without a shadow of a doubt. I can't wait to pick it up.
Re: Review: King of Fighters Collection: The Orochi Saga (Wii)
Huh. Its so wierd going back to old reviews and seeing that the lack of smoothed out pixels used to be an issue.
Re: Dragon Quest X Online Launches 'All In One' Switch Package This October (Japan)
I really want both to release in the west. If only for the sake of playing a game that originally came out for the Wii of all platforms.

Huh. Neat. Tbh i think Rush Duel is best suited for a spinoff game, especially since the physical card game hasn't been released in the west.
Re: 'Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel: Dawn of the Battle Royale!! Let’s Go! Go Rush!!' Announced For Switch
@TheMelodiusRose GX? ArcV? Great? Im sorry but did we watch the same shows, or is this a whole "Every copy of such and such is personalized" thing?
Re: Type-Moon's 'Witch On The Holy Night' Receives Western Release In December

Oooh, this is neat. Breakers and Breakers Revenge are decently underrated. Only thing i really want now is a port of KOF 98 and 2002 UM.

@BrazillianCara I hope it is, because if it isn't im going to be really upset.

Honestly, i don't care. Fei Long was a boring, forgettable character that was just an artifact of the 90s.
