I thought that this is the best version of the game, like it was said in the news?: "It goes without saying though that this is the best version of the original game you could possibly ask for"
And why is this review in the 'Retro section' and not in the 'Virtual Console' section? I almost didn't take notice of it because the review isn't in the 'Virtual Console-RSS-Feed'.
@ Ski Deuce: That are all nice examples you give, but the majority of people who pirate games do this again and again, I can see this even in my circle of friends.
"Here's another reason to consider piracy as beneficial. It expands audiences."
Because of piracy you can also say the complete opposite, because for many people it is much easier to download something than to buy it and drop money.
@ Nintendolife: Isn't it a little bit questionably to post those news and to draw attention to the ability to play pirate games on the Wii?
Beside the thing that you don't like DK64 and SFA, but what is with the other games like Banjo-Kazooie, Goldeneye & Perfect Dark? They all belong to the best of the best of their genre. (But don't get me wrong, I do not find that Rare is still so good as they were in the days of the SNES and N64.)
For me every title can be a hardcore- or casual-game, depending on how I play it. (I can play Wii Sports for hours and for the reason to get highscores, and immediately it is a "Core Game". But if I play it just once in a week/month and for few minutes, it is accordingly a "Casual Game".
@ "Starfox adventures was pretty bad and the Donkey Kong game for the N64 was so boring too... The DK games fro the SNES were pretty bad too."
Wow, then it is no surprise that you think Nintendo doesn't need another Rare anymore, but I think you belong to a minority .
It is interesting and a little bit absurd to see some complaining comments, although they have absolutely no idea how good or bad the WiiWare game is.
@ Calculator: It is possible, for example, to extract the root or is there a function for the factorial of a number? What I want to know: Are there functions to calculate complex tasks?
My total lifetime stars are 28625. Actually and fortunately I have 5475 stars. And that was 5 minutes ago, before I choose Little King's Story =))). Wohoo!
@ "After all history has shown us time and time again that not all innovative, quality games manage to generate the sales expected – why should this be any different on WiiWare?"
Maybe because the price of a WiiWare game is much lower than a retail version.
Not really, you get a password after each successful stage. But I think you know that you can just stop the game at any point by returning to the Wii menu.
50$ for Wii Sports Resort and for WiiMotion+ alone 20$? Wow, that is pretty expensive. I mean, here in Europe you will get Grand Slam Tennis alone for 50€ and with WiiMotion+ for 60€...
For me this score is too high. I would give it at most a 6, because it is just too short and has too little modes, in comparison to Paper Plane for example.

Re: Nintendo Download: Final Fantasy, Even More Art, and Animal Crossing Apps (EU)
Awesome, another Art Style game =).
Re: Pop Island Game Play Video
Ah, that is the reason why it is still so confusing^^.
Re: Pop Island Game Play Video
Still too confusing...
How do I know where the route is?
Re: Konami Confirms Zephyr: Rise Of The Elements For WiiWare
Mmh, it is interesting to see how the physics from the Wii version will be in comparison to the other versions.

Re: Pop Island Coming to DSiWare
For me that looks very confusing and like a wild disorder.
Re: Nintendo Download: Space Harrier Arcade, Fish'em All and Art Style: NEMREM (EU)
Yeah, a new 'Art Style' game, I downloaded it immediately at 12 o'clock =).
Re: Hackers Expand Wii Storage, Door Now Open To Filthy Pirates
@ Ski Deuce: That are all nice examples you give, but the majority of people who pirate games do this again and again, I can see this even in my circle of friends.
Re: First Impressions: Arkanoid Plus!
@ Arkanoid Plus!: Why not just make a game with the style like "Space Invaders Extreme"? It would be much more interesting...

Re: Nintendo Download: Crystal Defenders R2, Penguins & Friends, PiCOPiCT and Pop Superstar
Great @ PiCOPiCT =)
Re: Review: Art Style: PiCTOBiTS (DSiWare)
It is a must-buy for me, hopefully it comes to Europe this Friday =).
Re: Legendary Starfy 101
I imported Densetsu no Stafi 4 from Japan some month ago and it is a nice game (~ 7/10).
Re: First Look: Max & the Magic Marker
Really, really interesting. That reminds me of Crayon Physics (Deluxe).
Re: Nintendo Download: Masks, Crystals, Chess and Art (US)
Wow, PiCTOBiTS, hopefully Europe get it this Friday, too.
Re: Don't Toss Those Old Controllers Yet
I have my NES adapter from http://www.retrousb.com/, and it still works perfect.
Re: Fugazo Announces Frobot for WiiWare
I don't know, I don't find it that interesting.
Re: Review: Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure (Virtual Console / Sega Mega Drive)
Wow, that is the highest score I've seen so far, maybe a little bit too high?
Re: New Magnetis WiiWare Screenshots
@ "lease no more puzzle games..."
If it is good, why not?
Re: Interviews: Kyle Gray talks Henry Hatsworth & indie plans
@ KDR_11k: That's because it wasn't released here in Germany.
@ Game: It received very good scores, and I will definitively buy it in the near future.
Re: Review: Military Madness (TG-16)
I should have waited =(.
Re: Nintendo Rejects Intellivision Lives for DSiWare
No, because Final Fantasy IV - The After Years was a new game made for mobile phones in Japan.
Re: It's My Birthday: Casual Gaming Hits a New Low
It is really a shame to see some complaining posts here about a game which nobody played...
And the news is also not very professional...
Re: Review: Pic Pic (DS)
@ Objection_Blaster: I think you mean 'Picross DS'.
Re: Retro Game Challenge Sequel Localization Looking Dire
Too bad =(

@ Wii & DS comparison: Let's hope so^^.
Re: Review: Animal Crossing Calculator (DSiWare)
It is sad to see that there are no functions to calculate complex tasks, for example to extract the root.
Re: Round Table: Is Nintendo Neglecting the 'Hardcore Gamer'?
"but please, did anyone here really enjoyed Starfox Adventures?"
Yes, I enjoyed it very much. And if I look at the scores StarFox Adventures got I think I am not the only one.

Re: Monster Hunter G Gives Wii a Sales Boost In Japan
VGChartz isn't really a trustworthy source for sales numbers.
@ News: A rise of 5'000 is a kick up the arse? Then what was the increase of the PS3 numbers last week?
18'000 units are not really good when you keep in mind that Monster Hunter G was released, a game which sold over 100'000 copies.
@ warioswoods: Here you have a good analysis about VGChartz.com:

Re: Nintendo Download: Bit.Trip Beat, Dr. Mario, Magic and Galaxy Force II (EU)
Nice to see Bit.Trip Beat, I will definitively download/buy it.
Re: Review: Clubhouse Games Express: Classic Cards (DSiWare)
I really don't understand why they drop the online feature.
Re: Smashmouth Games Announces Ongaku for WiiWare
It makes a good impression to me; I look forward to this title.
Re: Bit.Trip Beat Coming to Europe on Friday
Even it will be released on the next Friday, it is still nice to hear that finally the game comes to Europe^^.
Re: Review: Adventure Island: The Beginning (WiiWare)
As I expected, especially the average presentation...
Re: Little King's Story available from Club Nintendo
Awesome!

Re: Japanese Virtual Console list - May 2009
Nice to see the release of Famicom Wars.
Re: WiiWare Threshold Is Really About Quality Control
@ "After all history has shown us time and time again that not all innovative, quality games manage to generate the sales expected – why should this be any different on WiiWare?"
Maybe because the price of a WiiWare game is much lower than a retail version.
Re: Talking Point: Could The Conduit Be in for a Rough Ride at Retail?
The Conduit = mainstream
MadWorld = absolute not mainstream
=> You can't compare these games in term of sales, or make predictions because of MadWorld...
Re: DSi Sells 435,000 as Nintendo Dominates US Console Market
@ Damien McFerran:
@ "although it should be noted that that total is 17% down on this time last year":
I think one reason is that last year Easter was in March, this year it is in April.
So in the next month we should see a growth in the sales.
Re: Review: Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure (Virtual Console / Sega Mega Drive)
@ nintendolife.com:
When again will users be able to give Virtual Console games an own score? And what is with WiiWare games?
Re: Wii Sports Resort & MotionPlus: Prices and Dates Confirmed
@ MarkyVigoroth: I know, but I still find it a little bit pricey, unless Wii Sport Resort is a lot bigger than Wii Sports.
Re: Review: Mega Man 2 (NES)
@ "Can you save?":

Re: Review: Military Madness (TG-16)
Should I wait for the remake?
Re: Review: Mega Man 2 (NES)
When I look at the other 10/10 games:
Maybe it gets no 10/10 because it's not a Nintendo game?
Re: Review: Fatal Frame IV (Wii)
@ Matthew Blundon: Because you reviewed some Japanese games: Do you speak Japanese?
Re: Review: Trace Memory: R, Gateway of Memory (Wii)
@ Matthew Blundon: Can you please give a link to one of these FAQs where you see what each character is saying? Thank you =)
