Re: Nintendo Download: 10th May 2010 (North America)

Ah, Photo Dojo... Way too overrated on Nintndolife. I'm really, really disappointed of it. Why can't you play with two DSi against each other? It would be so much more comfortable. Or why can't you transfer the photos between two DSi? It is also too simple. For me at most a 5/10 game.

Re: Review: Game & Watch Helmet (DSiWare)

Gizmo

Fair score. To me this review seems to be one of the few Game & Watch reviews on Nintendolife (, if not the only one,) which scores the game just out of the gameplay, and not because of some great memories...

Re: AiRace

Gizmo

A question to those who have 'Airace' & 'Airace - Tunnel': Is the complete "Airace: Tunnel" game in this one?

Thanks in advance for an answer =).

@ V8 Ninja (#1): "You'd think something that combined Time Crisis (the time limit) and Sin & Punishment (gameplay-wise) would come out as a winner, but I guess it comes out as above average."

Above average would be a 6, not a 7 .

Re: Review: Bit.Trip Void (WiiWare)

Gizmo

For me Bit.Trip Void is the worst of the series so far. I don't like the music as much as the music from the first two games. Also I find Void too easy. I played through Level 1 & 2 without "dying", so my overall playtime was much lower than with Core and Beat.

Re: Review: Spotto! (DSiWare)

Gizmo

The review doesn't mention the hard mode after completing the story mode, where the old stages have to be managed in a more difficult way.

I would give the game an 8.

Re: Review: Blaster Master: Overdrive (WiiWare)

Gizmo

Mmh, besides Cheat Code Central also GameTrailers.com gave the game an average score (4.8). Too bad, and I hoped that apart from Nintendolife this game would get good scores, too.
So my desire to buy is alas not high anymore =(.

Re: Review: Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice For All (WiiWare)

Gizmo

@ oldkid: "So, why on earth anyone who still have to play Ace Attorney should not welcome this series for the gem it is?"

It is not so that the game isn't welcome, it is just how the game was released. Was it really so hard (for this high price) not to make the game better?

It is simply incomprehensible, and this is what the score implies.

Re: Review: Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice For All (WiiWare)

Gizmo

@ "So if Capcom had managed to port this to the SNES emulator on VC the result would have been acceptable. But since it's on wiiware, it's not acceptable anymore?"

Right =). A VC game stands for originality, and you want a VC game to be the original one. For a WiiWare game you simple can and have to expect more.

@ "And if they had released it on VC, they couldn't have add the fifth case in the first game since VC doesn't support DLC in any way."

But it would be cheaper . (If there would be an english version, of course^^.)

Re: Review: Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice For All (WiiWare)

Gizmo

@ oldkid: "Well, what Capcom should have done?"

Are you serious about that?
For example they could have give the game at least a graphical overhaul. The actual game is just pure laziness, deserve the 3 points drop, and is for a port and WiiWare game relativ expensive, too.
(Remember, a SNES game, which you can compare to a GBA game, costs 800 points.)

Re: Review: Art of Balance (WiiWare)

Gizmo

Of course you have to take into account that a WiiWare title is a download game and much cheaper than a retail one, anything else would make no sense and would be unfair, too. Also that doesn't mean that a game with a 9 doesn't deserve it.

Re: Review: Art of Balance (WiiWare)

Gizmo

@ PhoenixRising: If you look at other reviews of World of Goo and Rubik's Puzzle Galaxy: RUSH you should notice that these games are generally highly regarded, not only on Nintendolife...

Maybe your taste is just a bit different.

@ Manfred: Too bad, but thanks for the answer.

Re: Final Aardman Flipnote Hits DSi

Gizmo

I am very disappointed and expected so much more from the whole animations...

For me several animations from amateurs are a lot better in view of humor and quality.
