Re: Talking Point: Nintendo Should Aim to Produce Mature, Genre-Defining Storytelling Experiences

FireMario887

Dark stories are interesting and pretty creepy too, but more M games is not good. It is a bad influence to people. Alcohol, violence, inappropriate romance, drugs, and more mature features are corrupting people's mind. It has to stop.

Storytelling is one of my favorite features of games. Other M's was moderately good, in my opinion, but learning about Samus's past is just great. I have the Hyrule Historia, and (There will be spoilers) there is a story chain. Skyward Sword starts it off. There is also a point where the story splits, like when the hero of time beats Ganon in Ocarina of Time, and when he loses. Pretty neat. I liked the story of most of the Metroid series and pretty much all of the story is amazing in Zelda.

A good influence that can come from M games is storytelling. Gamers that are also authors or wish to become authors can get ideas and learn how to make good stories by playing video games with great stories.

Head members from Retro Studios are going to take part in this game, so you guys may see some Metroid-related things in it. I'm a bit disappointed about the head members leaving Nintendo for a bit; the possibility of a new Metroid game seems to get lower and lower.

Yes! The color powers return! I wonder which ones though? My favorite color power was the yellow drill (My favorite color is actually blue), so I hope it makes a comeback.

It's a bit confusing to see what the game is more like. The recent Sonic games (Colors Wii and Generations 360 and PS3) has similar gameplay, but then again, those platforming techniques seem to be from Mario. I guess it's 50% Mario and 50% Sonic.

The story is kind of neat, Eggman creates the deadly six to stop Sonic, but they betray Eggman and overthrow him. He goes to help for Sonic to stop them. I'm definitely looking forward to to this game.

This is a fun fighting game with a great story. Character designs and animations are neat. Some moves are almost impossible to pull, but that doesn't ruin the game. The lack of DLC to start off with is disappointing and some moves left undone even though you hit the button is a little frustrating, but the game is otherwise worth playing. 9/10.

This looks like a pretty neat game. The gameplay really is like a combination of Mario and Sonic gameplay. The new enemies are sorta weird, but that doesn't ruin the game. It looks great and I cannot wait to play it.

I forget my password, and I really like Miiverse. It is a fun social system that is ruined by my memory loss. Oh well, there is still the Wii U. I like to draw (Especially DC superheroes drawings) and joke often on Miiverse. It is one of my favorite features of the Wii U.

Re: Talking Point: Wii U vs Xbox One - Online Requirements and On-Disc DRM

FireMario887

It's like the Cold War. The Wii U is the U.S and the Xbox One is the Soviet Union. The Wii U is a free console (The U.S is a free country) allowing you to explore the internet freely and play games freely. Backwards compatibility has little control (The U.S's democracy has little control over the government) too. The Xbox One has a stupid mandatory online connection were most things require online and online connections are required (Enjoying how well the Wii U is doing and winning), used games are highly limited, no backwards compatibility (Where's my red lantern ring?!), and there are probably more limited features. The Xbox One may keep beating the Wii U at competitions (I personally think the Wii U is winning), but the Xbox One's gamers will eventually grow tired of the Xbox One and make the Xbox One change things up (The Soviet Union wasn't broke up by loss in competitions with the U.S, it broke up because the leaders thought it was time to do so). `Raises fist up and chants "Wii U is going for GOLD!" `

You know what, he is just making fun about the game. He could ruin the chance for interested people to buy this game. Should I report him on Miiverse; he did cuss a little bit and there are children playing. If not, I wish some other way to put a stop to it, he is making fun and being rude to Nintendo and making people miss out on such great enjoyment.

Those beginners just need advice. I think the game is VERY VERY awesome and had little trouble, so I may have advice for rookies. No, Samus cannot crawl, but (SPOLIER ALERT) when you enter the blue hall by the elevator go to your left-hand side and jump over the 3/4 of a wall. There, you will find the morphing ball. Press the D-pad or move the left stick down twice to change into the morph ball. I joked on Miiverse with a comment to a post. My comment said, (ANOTHER SPOILER) "Samus was raised by the Chozo (bird-like aliens), she was probably taught to go up rather than stay low. LOL" I have more advice, but that would be too much spoilers and I would hate to disappoint. Once again, Super Metroid is a perfect game and is one my favorites of all time. This guy could be making fun of the game, or he is a just a new guy and has just been introduced to the Metroid series.
