Haha, it's like that point in an action movie where the hero is at a chance of his victory. Nintendo never gives up; they won't stop finding ways to entertain their consumers. Awesome!
TOO MUCH MARIO. It is time to focus on the rare and amazing series (What's plural for series?) Metroid, F-Zero, and Star Fox. They all have remained in the shadows and it is time for a comeback. I hope one day, that fans will have to wait for 3-10 years for a Mario....
I know that people talk about sales all the time to me when I say this, but I DO NOT care about sales. I thought Nintendo was about giving entertainment, not money. Metroid Blast and the F-Zero game (Both from Nintendo Land) could lead up to new games. I hope so.
So yeah, instead of Nintendo having to be motivated by sales, they should be motivated by their ideas for entertainment. Retro making tropical freeze was a bad surprise because it can not prove the Wii U's power. A Metroid or a Star Fox would have been more AMAZING than anything else. Nintendo didn't see these ideas either.
Yes! Too much Mario! It is time for more popularity for the best bounty-hunter, jet fighter commander who is a fox, and the racer with a nifty suit.
Oooooooohhhh! Glad to see that NL is hyped for this two. That gameplay looks amazing and better than the previous titles and even a lot of good inspiration from Super Mario Galaxy (That plumber-in-space thing was funny ). I didn't think that the giant springs are similar to the launch stars, but wow; the game is greatly similar to Galaxy. ULTRA HYPE!!!
Wow, great read. Nintendo really does need to drop it, I completely agree with what Mr. Thomas wrote. I can't blame the Nintendo fanbase rebellion. Region Locking must stop, or not everybody will get the fun they want.
@drumsandperc92 and @YChung, thank you for supporting my point. Awful lot of Mario and DK, where the heck are the rare titles? Maybe Retro Studios will make a Metroid, F-Zero, and Starfox game.
I wouldn't mind a smaller character roster. Sakurai is a great guy, thinking about people, it's awesome. It is great for people who prefer differences who are getting the same thing to be equal so that there isn't any complaints.
@Deadstanley I completely agree with you once again. I too like Nintendo titles best. When I play other titles that are not Nintendo (Other than Sonic, it feels related), they don't feel that good, because the lack the power and creativity of Nintendo.
I just recently read the review for F-Zero GX, and it looks GREAT. What happened to the series? Why does Mario always (Literally ALWAYS) get the attention, F-Zero is the racing series; Mario already has a platforming adventure, so F-Zero should be the racing focus. Too much MARIO, we want STAR FOX, F-ZERO, AND METROID!
That game sounds AWESOME. I have not played much F-Zero, but the few I've played of it is super fun and hard. Fast? I like fast games like the modern Sonic games ans Other M is very entertaining, so that means this is entertaining. It was probably predictable how bad the story was gonna be. I didn't expect a good story, but I was expecting good voice actors (Appears I'm wrong). This game looks amazing, and I may look into it when it is available as a downloadable game. It was unexpected to see a Sega company make this, that's probably where the FAST is from (Sonic the Hedgehog ).
I've played F-Zero on the Wii U eshop ($0.30! ) and it was FUN. A few months ago, I finally beat the F-Zero game on Nintendo Land and it was FUN. Mario has had more racing than the actually racing game while he is the platforming guy, not the racing. Captain Falcon and his buds are meant for racing. I would like a new F-Zero game. Maybe Retro Studios will make unique use of the gamepad for it.
Those costumes in the picture are pretty cool! They are superhero-ish which is no complaint, it's a COMPLIMENT!
It is just a manner of patience before Nintendo steps up. I still cannot believe the complaints and demands coming this early, the Wii U is not a year old and people are all ready stressing Nintendo. They need patience and a break. They may take as long as life to do this, I don't care, patience is needed for Nintendo's success. Nintendo shouldn't stress themselves with trying to gain speed, they just need more support, patience, and less demands from the consumers.
I didn't think Majora's Mask was as good as Ocarina of Time, but it certainly was great. A 3DS remake is possibly a predictable idea, it may need a larger fanbase. I would appreciate a remake for the game.
I hope that the following stay: Sonic Ike Ness ROB Meta Knight Wolf Falco Zelda (Peach and Luigi are likely to stay) Marth Mr. Game and Watch Wario Yoshi Captain Falcon
I would really hate if they take away Sonic, he is one my favorites.
Possibly an equivalent to Super Mario 64. That would be great. The return of the wing, vanish, and metal caps along with a new item, the explore world and find stars thing instead of levels, and punching. We'll see what is though. HYPE!!! (Not for 3D World, but the announcement)
I have faith in Nintendo that they will eventually use their full power on the Wii U. A Metroid game similar to Prime will surely be a unique and grand game for the Wii U, If Nintendo ever stops ignoring it (> ).
Mofitt speaks the truth. The Wii U now has HD, more gigabytes, and the gamepad, so the price is quite reasonable. I don't think the Wii had a price change so early, so it makes since for no change.
Delays for games are absolutely fine, especially if a gaming company has more ideas for a game in the development.
Now when it comes to third-party games avoiding the Wii U since it's not doing so good, is just not good in my opinion. The Wii U is not a year old yet, they can't expect the sales to skyrocket at the start of a console. It appears that these companies want Nintendo to lose, it is like those companies have no care for consumers, they just want to win. The only way consumers are gonna be happy, is if the third-party companies do not support Nintendo and the Wii U is dead. They are losing patience for mere video games! I do not understand why they are expecting Nintendo's new console to jump high instantly! While Nintendo is developing its most highly anticipated games the third-party companies should give Nintendo momentum while Nintendo builds these games. Those other companies don't care if Nintendo loses and dissatifies the consumers, once again, those companies just want to win. If Nintendo stresses too much money, then they could lose their company. This must change, those third-party companies need to be patient and compassionate so that they can all rejoice, including the consumers.
I am surprised this is coming to the Wii U; the COD games on the Wii weren't so good, but the recent one for the Wii U seemed to do ok. I WILL NOT be allowed to play this, though those graphics were just AWESOME!

Re: Video: Reggie Explains Nintendo's Approach to Ensuring Wii U Success
Ugh, my kindle can't play YouTube. It appears that they are obviously NOT going for Metroid. Darn....
I'll give more info when I watch the video.
Re: Deathstroke DLC Confirmed For Batman: Arkham Origins On Wii U
My bro likes that. Deathstroke may be a fun character to play. Combat and guns, though there maybe an ocean of blood. HYPE!!!
Re: Site News: Nintendo Life - AKA Mario & Luigi - Runs for GamesAid
Wow, Ant as Luigi and Tom as Mario got 95% of votes including mine.
I agree @Happy_Mask.
Re: Investor Approval Rating For Satoru Iwata Drops To 77.26 Precent
PATIENCE! The upcoming games will give the boost Nintendo needs.

Re: Nintendo Wins Another Patent Battle, This Time Over MotionPlus
Nintendo wins? That is shocking and amazing to hear. I really do like the MotionPlus.

Re: Sakurai Explains The Reasoning Behind The New Characters in Super Smash Bros.
I can now see why the odd appearance of both the Villager and the Wii Fit Trainer are true. Once again, Sakurai wins.
Re: EA Outlines Its Reasons for Lack of Wii U Support
I don't care if EA does not make any games for Wii U. I hate them anyway. Nintendo is the best gaming company the way I see it. EA is "evil".

Re: Review: Mario Bros. (Wii U eShop / NES)
LOL! This is probably the worst Mario game. I would be bored if I bought this.
Re: Shigeru Miyamoto Explains Structure To Ensure First-Party Quality From Subsidiaries
Nintendo probably does need this support due to the pace they have been losing recently. Another good motive.
METROID?! Perhaps a hint for a new Metroid game.... Oh ho ho ho, yeah! Come on Retro, Metroid for the Wii U!
Re: Shigeru Miyamoto Is Open to More Female Heroines When the Gameplay Structure Fits
Now Peach is gonna completely take away Samus's titles as most popular female video game character. I wouldn't doubt it......

Re: Miyamoto Unsure Nintendo Can Make Another "Great" F-Zero Game
@GreatPlayer You are right! Almost everything about the game is similar to the two Sonic and All-Stars Racing games.
Re: Miyamoto Unsure Nintendo Can Make Another "Great" F-Zero Game
@Melkaticox Ok. I'm just saying that there has been too much Mario and VERY LITTLE F-Zero.
Re: Fils-Aime - With the Upcoming Wii U Lineup Third-Party "Development Dollars are Starting to Shift"
@Deadstanley You've made a GREAT point there. I can now see why Nintendo has not lived up to Sony and Microsoft now.
Re: Shigeru Miyamoto Is Open to More Female Heroines When the Gameplay Structure Fits
I hope Samus keeps her title as the most popular video game female character...
Re: Talking Point: What Games Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue Fourteen
Aw darn, my Wii U is in storage. I may play occasionally on my bro's 3DS. So maybe Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7.
Re: Video: This Official Zelda Symphony of the Goddesses Performance is Just Too Good
@Shiryu: I know! I like video game music a lot (Especially Metroid Prime Trilogy) and I can't see why people hate it.

Re: Talking Point: New Super Luigi U Opens The Door For Quick Expansions in Other Franchises
DLC for other franchises would be great! You're right, Mario Kart 8 does seem like a game likely to have DLC.
Re: Sakurai Aiming To Please "The Silent Majority" With New Smash Bros.
"Silent Players".... Not a bad idea. Players who just wait, relax, and see is a good focus. Well done, Sakurai.
So I guess Smash Bros is gonna be like a mixed genre from the following:
Action
Fighting
Platformer
(Possible) Racing
(Possible) Strategy
HYPE!!!

Marth
Mr. Game and Watch
Wario
Yoshi
Captain Falcon

Re: Nintendo's Charlie Scibetta Explains the Benefits of Developers Running the Company
Nintendo cares about the consumers, they're more willing to give gamers entertainment rather then earn money. That is great.

This game has incredible artwork ideas! Bayonetta's suit and the creatures she fights all look nifty and well-detailed.
Re: Review: Ristar (Virtual Console / Sega Mega Drive)

@Lasermaster123 Well agreed. I have faith that Nintendo won't disappoint.
Re: Feature: A Miiverse Adventure With Mega Man X
This is just as good as the Super Metroid thing! LOL!
Re: Talking Point: E3 Exposed the Strains of Nintendo's Development Workload
@Lasermaster123 Very true, I wasn't thinking clearly. What do I have too worry about business, when I can just enjoy Nintendo anyway.
Re: Talking Point: E3 Exposed the Strains of Nintendo's Development Workload
Forget about post #39, that was kinda stupid... :I Well the delay thing is something I'm staying with, but that second part, I was being crazy on.
