Re: Super Smash Bros. Will Have A Single Player Campaign

FireMario887

No story mode may be sorta disappointing, but the movie thing is just great. Especially after seeing Brawl's incredible graphics upgraded into HD. I will probably do single player most of the time, though I really need to learn how to not get enraged or stressed during multiplayer. HYPE!!!

Re: EA Will "Jump Back In" If Wii U Becomes A "Viable Platform"

FireMario887

EA seems to think it is the king of gaming. Well in my opinion, it is NOT! Sure they may have clever gameplay techniques, but Nintendo has always cared about the consumers, even children, which I have immeasurable application for. Nintendo builds entertainment that they want people to enjoy, not to compete. EA is just creating powerful titles to gain speed and fame. They probably see that Nintendo's fire is vanishing and they don't care. They aren't gonna help Nintendo and make the company who cares about consumers fall apart. That is just wrong. People will be disappointed if Nintendo is done, including me, and EA is not going to help Nintendo get back up on its feet. EA just wants to be known for its big titles and technology. Once Nintendo's titles announced at E3 show up, EA will see that Nintendo has power. Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros. U, and possibly Super Mario 3D World will prove to EA that Nintendo has what it takes. Nintendo has Ocarina of Time, Metroid Prime, and Super Mario Galaxy 2, some of the games with the greatest reviews in gaming history. EA will be proven wrong and "evil".

Re: Time: Nintendo Is "Stumped" By The Wii U GamePad And Should Ditch It

FireMario887

@Dev Miiverse? Dang, I really like Miiverse.... I love drawing making jokes about certain points of games. If the gamepad truly does "go away", then Miiverse is doomed. This guy hasn't played games that make use of the gamepad is a likely possibility. The Wii U is only a few months old, and yet, people judge it already! Time and patience is VERY essential now.

Re: Time: Nintendo Is "Stumped" By The Wii U GamePad And Should Ditch It

FireMario887

What? No! I really like the gamepad and its unique capabilities. Give Nintendo some Time and patience; it'll eventually find better things to do with it. Heck, even third-party games could empower the use of the gamepad. If Retro would've created a Metroid, Star Fox, or F-Zero, it would motivate the gamepad's success. I bet Nintendo will find unexpected ways of his using the gamepad.

Re: Retro Studios Working on "One Major Project at a Time"

FireMario887

Those Metroid ideas sound pretty AWESOME. Not just Samus (Though she's my favorite), but more hunters! I like that. Another two or three years? I could be patient that long, I think... Donkey Kong probably was a better choice for now though I was still hoping for Metroid. Let's just wait and see what Retro has next time...

Re: Bayonetta 2

FireMario887

I doubt I'll be allowed to play this, but it looks cool. I didn't expect all those flying monsters that Bayonetta has to fight. The gameplay looks fun, the graphics are good, the artwork and design is awesome, and the story is probably good too. Once again, I may not be allowed to play this. I hope you guys enjoy this though.

Re: Nintendo's Scott Moffitt - Upcoming Wii U Lineup Will "Ignite Sales"

FireMario887

Many games shown are surely to give the Wii U the boost it needs. If third-party developers just ignore the DLC for the Wii U, it could backfire by that happening. I don't have much hope for Super Mario 3D World though. Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros. and X are possibly major sources to the Wii U's victory. Heck, even Sonic Lost World could get the Wii U back on its feet and running as fast as the hedgehog himself.

Re: Third-Party Characters in Smash Bros. to be Kept to a Minimum

FireMario887

@miletich3 I wouldn't like that.

That is partially disappointing, but I guess it is fine. If all of the characters shown on the screenshots and videos shown are on the game, that is fine with me. If Nintendo starts to add first-party characters, then I got three ideas. Mii, Waluigi, and Athony Higgs (Other M).

HYPE!!!

Re: First Impressions: Mario Kart 8

FireMario887

That is good to hear. I do know what the "heart" is the game's enjoyment. Maybe an idea of Miyamoto's not earn a few bucks, but rather to give enjoyment to the players. He did so with his excellent video gaming mind. It will be really neat to see how the game looks in HD. Off my kindle fire hd, the screen is 720p, but the Wii U can get up to a maximum of 1080p which would look pretty amazing for this game. The gameplay sounds great too. No blue shell? Maybe something new...

The character roster was small and partially strange for the 7, so I wonder how this will turn out character wise. Maybe: Dry Bowser, Goomba, Waluigi (He may not be in smash, but he could possibly come here), I'm trying to think about characters who have already been in previous games, other than Waluigi.

Anyway. HYPE!!!

Re: Zelda Series Timeline Wasn't Planned From the Beginning

FireMario887

I actually have the Hyrule Historia and the story timeline goes like this:
Skyward Sword>The Minish Cap>The Ocarina of Time>>THE HERO OF TIME IS TRIUMPHANT: The Twilight realm and the legacy of the hero: Majora's Mask>Twilight Princess>Four Swords Adventure/ The hero of winds and a new world: The Wind Waker>Phantom Hourglass>Spirit Tracks/ THE DECLINE OF HYRULE AND THE LAST HERO: A Link to the Past>The Oracle of Ages and the Oracle of Seasons>Link's Awakening>The Legend of Zelda (First game, NES)> The Adventure of Link

I wonder how this game may fit into the story?

Re: First Impressions: Super Mario 3D World

FireMario887

The way you put it, it seems like this game may fail. You are right, I have forgotten how weird Mario really is, ROFL. A fat plumber who can jump surprisingly high and throw balls made outta nothing but fire, HA! This game does seem to be Not-wierd, makes since, and little cooperation among the players. I am starting to get my disappointment, back...

Re: Poll: Which Wii U E3 Game Has Impressed You the Most?

FireMario887

I couldn't decide between, Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros U., or Sonic Lost World. I chose Sonic, which is one of the third-party games even though it has only one 1%. The game looks super fun and great in HD. It really looks like a neat integration of Mario and Sonic gameplay. Smash Bros and Mario Kart are very close to the excitement I have for Sonic. All three games are what I am excited for. Hype!

Re: Super Mario 3D World

FireMario887

I'm a little disappointed that this didn't show up as a game similar to Galaxy, but now that I read more about this game, I'm now quite excited for it. It looks just as fun as Mario 3D Land (That is a lot of fun) and looks neat in HD. I guess the story for the game is this: Bowser is so mad of how Mario has beaten him several times an plots vengeance. He's so mad, that he's starts tearing apart the world. Peach gets word on this and realizes it is time she stands up for the Mushroom Kingdom. She helps Mario, Luigi, and Toad stop Bowser and his minions from destroying the world just to get to Mario. Just a guess. HYPE!

Re: Miyamoto: Zelda Wii U Was Considered For Display At This Year's E3

FireMario887

I completely forgot about this. This just adds to the disappointment of yesterday's Nintendo Direct. I'm glad to see the creation of the game is doing good. The HD for the game looks fantastic. Another cart has been added to the hype train; I can't decide when one to sit in! Sonic Lost World, Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros. U, or this? So much HYPE!

Re: Nintendo "Feels Good" About How It Stacks Up Against Sony And Microsoft

FireMario887

Nintendo may have had the hype fall, but it is just a matter of patience and time before it steps up its game. I wouldn't judge the Wii U at its young age, it needs time to really progress.

If Nintendo wins this next-generation competition, I bet they'll be happy if they win this competition, because they are awesome, but they never seem to match up to the awesome of Microsoft and Sony. I'm with Nintendo and I don't care if they lose this competition (Unless it puts an end to the company), they are a still fun and winning in my opinion.

Re: Nintendo Reveal Why Its 3D Mario Title Isn't Super Mario Galaxy 3

FireMario887

Makes since now. This game is now starting to be perfectly fine with me. The story? Perhaps Bowser seeks vengeance on Mario and is too mad to capture Peach. Bowser goes on a rampage along with his minions. Peach decides she needs to stand up and protect her kingdom. She starts to help Mario, Luigi, and Toad. I'm now quite excited for this.

Re: Feature: What We Expect From Nintendo's E3 Direct

FireMario887

Just one hour... Darn, kindle is at 5% charge, my mom and dad have the charger, and they're asleep. I guess it maybe a while before I watch the video. I don't mind missing the live presentation.

I am so interested in finding out what Retro's new game is gonna be. If it is something completely new, then I am hoping for another sci-fi series. Not something similar to Metroid (That would be great though), something new.

HYPE!!!

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's Biggest E3 Challenge is Getting Noticed

FireMario887

How did the PS4 presentation go? Does it have a mandatory online system or backwards compatibility?

The Wii U is the champion the way I see it. The general focus toward games is a great motive, especially with the hype for tomorrow! The new 3D Mario! The new Super Smash Bros.!! Sonic Lost World!!! SECRET RETRO GAME!!!!
