Re: Book Review: The Legend Of Zelda: Hyrule Historia

FireMario887

I wonder how much it will cost. That seems like it will be a cool book! It will be in interesting to learn about the history of a legendary series. I may look into buying it. For Zelda is my 2nd favorite nintendo series after Metroid. It's cool to see that the book will hold magna comics and developers' backgrounds. I might ask my parents about buying this nifty looking book.

Re: Rumour: New Sonic Title Dashing To Wii U And 3DS

FireMario887

Yes! Finally a new Sonic. The fast gameplay is always a treat. Especially after playing Colors and Generations. I would gladly welcome a new Sonic game. I hope there is new gamepad capabilities like tilting it to drift curves or for using the homing attack. This gets me pumped!

Re: The Legend of Zelda (Tentative Title)

FireMario887

Neat tag for this game. Yes this is awesome and does have.... swords (heh, duh). I can't wait for this. I can't find a word to describe my immeasurable excitement for this. New gameplay and strong visuals makes this worth being impatient for!

Re: Super Mario 3D (Tentative Title)

FireMario887

Yes! Finally a new 3D Mario game coming for Wii U! I can't wait to check out its neat HD visuals and gamepad capabilities! This is a good preview! I hope other people are as excited as I am for this!

Re: Talking Point: Wii U Direct - Tell Us What You Thought

FireMario887

Yes Virtual Console games at last! It even has GBA games so I can finally play Metroid Fusion! I also can't wait for Wind Waker HD. I heard it is a very popular Zelda game. Other than that, I am disappointed that there is no gamecube games yet for the Wii U, and (of course) WHERE IS THE STINKIN METROID GAME FOR WII U? Nintendo still doesn't see how awesome Metroid would be on the Wii U?

The Virtual Console deal is a real treat. Discounts if you have had some games on the original Wii. I am glad to see that Super Metroid will be a deal for May. The GBA idea is also pretty neat. Like I said, I can't wait to play Metroid Fusion.

As for the new games, a new 3D Mario game and Mario Kart U are really awesome ideas! The Wii U's new features adds to that excitement! That new xenoblade looks awesome (those visuals look far more than impossible to animate!) too. The Zelda wind waker HD game is also something I am highly anticipating! The HD visuals and Wii U gamepad capabilities lead to a lot of new abilities!

The updates seem solid. The faster launching and accessing time really would help. Adding miiverse to smartphones is pretty good too. Creating user communities would also expand my enjoyment with the Wii U. Miiverse just gets better and better.

So much to get excited for! I can't wait! This is AWESOME!

Re: Fire Emblem: Awakening

FireMario887

I first found out about Fire Emblem in Smash Bros. Brawl. I've also played the demo and it was good. The combat system maybe a little boring... but neat, I guess. I see Marth on the cover (His voiced is a little too high-pitched for a guy) but where's Ike? He was on my favorite characters on Smash Bros. Brawl. Did he die in a previous, or he is he not a major character, or he remains a unknown character throughout the game, etc.

Re: Review: Mario Kart 7 (3DS)

FireMario887

I've played this recently and it is certainly a neat racing game. The courses and new abilities add to the fun of this. Though, you guys and gals may find this odd, but I can't see how the 3DS's top screen is 3D. (I did have it cranked on and was holding it steady.) The picture still looked flat on the screen.... Anyway, 9.5/10.

Re: Talking Point: The Blurred Lines of "Collectables" and On-Disc DLC

FireMario887

I however sorta don't like the toy concept. It is a little complex (Sure it's cool). If that is the strategy then I guess that's fine. I am looking most forward to playing Ralph (Y'know from Wreck-It-Ralph) . I was expecting classical disney characters (In my opinion they are ehh 85-95% lame) like Mickey or the disney princesses. Gladly, I was wrong.

The character roster seems pretty neat. It's a surprise to see Captain Jack, I need to watch more Pirates of the Carribean movies. I didn't see any Tron characters which decreases my interest for the character roster, but yet there is still plenty of cool characters.

I maybe actually looking forward to this game. I may expect to see Star Wars soon since Lucasarts sold it to Disney. That would also be neat! It is cool that you get to explore many Disney worlds and all. I wonder how the developers would take advantage of gamepad usage.

Re: Review: Nano Assault Neo (Wii U eShop)

FireMario887

Should I be looking to buy this, cuz it looks cool! So let me guess, it's like an arcade shooter type deal? I maybe look forward to getting this with some birthday money.

I may have a reasonable story for this. A mysterious infection has spread everywhere on Earth. These diseases seem to be after "conquest" on Earth. A scientist finds out about this a creates and microscopic device that he either shrinks with or he controls it manually from his lab. Just a wild guess or suggestion.

Re: Talking Point: Wii U's Beginnings and Challenges For 2013

FireMario887

If only the successful NES and SNES days would come back...

Why can't people just give Nintendo some time to repair some mistakes or other problems like that. Much games aren't even released yet and people still complain! Developers still need to get use to the Wii U. I am utterly confused about the fact that people are complaining too early.

Like NL said, the Wii U is still in diapers and doesn't have much yet. Some online features maybe a little disappointing about the Wii U, but the sales are too young to be judged. I for one think that the Wii U is absolutely awesome so far! The outcome of the Wii U is hard to determine, but yet I trust that Nintendo will make its fans proud.

Re: Review: Batman: Arkham City Armoured Edition (Wii U)

FireMario887

I just got this yesterday. It is awesome! The gamepad usage is really cool! The idea of using the gamepad like Batman's wrist computer is really neat! I do agree that frame movement maybe a little slow, but that is just minor. Extremely fun combat and stealth really contributes to this game's success! Though I have not done much, I can't wait for more! 10/10 so far!

Re: Mass Effect 3

FireMario887

I wish this wasn't a M game so I could play it. I am a big sci-fi fan. Especially when it comes to the galactic war topic. Like Star Wars, Star Trek, Transformers, and one my favorites, Metroid! Why does every cool sci-fi game rated M???

Re: Nintendo Says The Play Limit On Demos Is Set By The Publishers

FireMario887

That is just wrong! If there is a certain game you want to get so badly and you can't help but play the demo and then you will be utterly disappointed when it closes. This makes the opposite of sense! What if there is a online FPS demo and players try it out several times with friends but then it closes, and they don't have the money to buy it? How would they feel then? This is absolutely absurd!

Re: Review: New Super Mario Bros. U (Wii U)

FireMario887

@Lobster Truth is, my Dad couldn't help but give me and my the bro the Wii U early. It is really cool! The games on Nintendo Land are AWESOME! And I got NSMBU just yesterday, I maybe too used to the experience, but there is clever ideas. I am really enjoying it so far.

Re: Review: Nintendo Land (Wii U)

FireMario887

I think my favorite minigame is metroid blast, the gameplay is fun and the co-op is genius. Zelda battle quest was also entertaining with its fun and creative control scheme. Let's not forget Luigui's mansion. The ghost idea is real smart, you never know where the ghost is! I even jump if the player using the gamepad catches me. There is some minor problems in some of minigames but is still a awesome game. 9/10.

Re: Feature: Taking Off to the Miiverse

FireMario887

I got my Christmas gift early! Yep it is the the Wii U. My parents gave to me and my younger bro on the 1st and we love it so far. My favorite minigame is hmmm.... that is hard, either Metroid blast or Zelda battle quest, maybe Metroid. Now about miiverse, I can't help but put posts in it. Surprisingly, I receive yeahs often from a lot of people. I got 3 yeahs on one of my posts saying that I can't even get past the first level in donkey kong's crash course. I love miiverse indeed.

Re: Review: New Super Mario Bros. U (Wii U)

FireMario887

My mom and dad can't keep me in the dark forever! I was debating with my brother if we should get a Wii U for Christmas (Deluxe version along with the game shown here, Lego City Undercover, the black pro controller, and a new set of wii remotes and nunchucks) or new bicycles. I wanted the wii u, and my bro wanted the bikes. My dad said we could get one for Christmas and one later after that (as in a few months). If they got the Wii U, then I can't wait to play this!

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo Shrinks Prices and Consoles

FireMario887

The Wii Mini is sorta an oddity. I mean, lacking online connection and a Canadian exclusive. The Wii is starting to fail and the Wii U had a related start the 3DS. I do really like the DS. The dual-screen and touch-screen interactivity has been impressive. And the 3DS seems to be a pretty cool handheld too, though I don't have one. It is all so obvious why Xbox 360 is getting more credit (I'm complaining about this subject). The shooters always steals the interest while Nintendo is trying their best to keep gamers entertained. Shooters like Halo or the recent Transformers games do look appealing but other shooters on the Wii U are enhanced like Mass Effect 3 or ZombiU. Why don't those Xbox 360 gamers see the future of gaming? I will never leave Nintendo's path until I am no longer a gamer. (Which may take, say...... 60 to 70 years.)

Re: Wii Mini Is Official And Has No Online Connectivity

FireMario887

So it is a portable system that has a downloadable game library that is lacking in online interactions? There is only one-two disappointments.
1.It starts to get boring racing the CPU on Mario Kart Wii and racing against other people on the internet is much more challenging and fun.
2.I don't know if it can legally be brought into the U.S. I mean, why only Canadians? Probaly is 65% pointless to buy.
