Re: Review: Metroid: Other M (Wii)

FireMario887

Just one more small comment: 9.5/10 Love the game. Hate the short length. Don't mind the linearity. Incredible graphics. Very fun Combat. PERFECT control scheme. Should have been the best game of 2010.

Re: Review: Ace Attorney - The Movie

FireMario887

Uh-oh another future movie failure... wait best video movie game? Naahh.. (Though I haven't watched any of them) If there is any video game movie people should be looking forward to, it is WRECK-IT-RALPH, OH YEAH!

Re: MCV: Wii U Is A Stopgap System, Real Successor Is Still To Come

FireMario887

SHORT? N-no that can't be.. The Wii U is better than Xbox 360 or PS3 big time! Oh it does seem next gen all right! Anyways my family just sold the Xbox 360 today and we are soon going to give up the Wii for Wii U and now the Wii U's gonna have a short life-span? NO! Do any of you recall Metroid Prime 3's awesome graphics? How would those look in HD? Why Nintendo, why only 3 years? Xbox 360 has been sold for 7 years and PS3 has been sold for 6 years and Wii U is only half that? Nintendo already has plans for new system after Wii U? This is a whole pile of crazy!

Re: Review: Metroid: Other M (Wii)

FireMario887

I do not understand why people say there is some problems with the controls. Well here is what my final results should be for Other M:
Thrillers:
Incredible Combat
Neat Auto Camera
Simple and Fun Control Scheme
Amazing Graphics
Disappointments:
Search View Locking-On Issues
The game's short length
The linearity is slightly disturbing
Results: 9.0/10

I am not to disturbed by the linearity and I do not understand why people complain about Samus no being able to activate her weapons herself but I believe it would make the game boring sense you had access to all of the items just at the start of the game. Aiming is smooth, but locking-on is a little bit of a trouble, it automatically activates your missiles, maybe that is the only problem in search view. I always loved exploration on games Other M ruins that only a little, like in Sector 1, I was hoping to explore the Bio center early but it wouldn't let me, and sometimes it will block your path after you just got a new power-up so you can't go and get the expansion. Other than those minor spoil sports, the game has a very simple and extremely fun control scheme (Why do people complain about it?). The combat is 110% fun with a very well done auto-camera . This game is another blockbuster in Metroid, my favorite series of all time. 9.0/10.

Re: Review: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii)

FireMario887

I am starting to see that the checkpoint lacking system was even in the other Zelda titles 'til Skyward Sword. So this may certainly be a 10/10. There was 23 100's on the Metacritic list! And Wolf Form IS handy with a good idea for sensing and very fun combat. Though I can't help but admit I was partially bothered by the same twilight objectives to restore the light spirits. But, like NL said on their scoring policy, no game is ever truly perfect.

Re: Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed

FireMario887

This all looks cool and maybe something I'm forward to (the Wii U version), but do you know what be a perfect racing? A Transformers racing game, though I think the Decepticons would cheat. I would certainly expect Eggman to cheat. Looks like it took inspiration off of Mario Kart 7.

Re: Hands On: Nintendo Land

FireMario887

OH COME ON! METROID BLAST SOUNDS ONLY A LITTLE HARD! THE WEAKEST? WEAKEST!? ARRRGGG! The controls weren't quite like I expected..... BUT WHO CARES? LIKE COMMENT #1 SAID, METROID BLAST DOES LOOK LIKE THE FUNNEST. I WAITED LONG FOR A METROID GAME (Yes, two years does count as long) AND DO NOT WANT YOU TO RUIN THAT!

Re: Nintendo Land

FireMario887

The minigames look neat on there. At least Metroid Blast will satisfy me while I wait for the next Metroid....

Re: Retro Studios Gets a Bigger Office

FireMario887

Metroid! Metroid! METROID! A bigger studio can mean a bigger and awesome Metroid game! A Zelda title sounds awesome, the Metroid Blast minigame will satisfy me, but where is another first-person adventure, huh?

Re: Review: Metroid Prime: Hunters (DS)

FireMario887

@atariman Whoa whoa whoa, please do not be disappointed when I say this and don't end that long time the game was kept but it was certainly NOT developed by our old friend Retro. It was developed by Nintendo Software Technology, NST i you will.

Re: Review: Metroid Prime Trilogy (Wii)

FireMario887

@FinalFantisiac I noticed that, I would say that you just quickly press the A button to skip the game over screen on Corruption. I'm shocked that Nintendo would allow such a thing as a family publisher.

Re: Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters

FireMario887

So Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters was another American movie failure? I think Great Britain is beating U.S.A. I heard that many American movies has fallen flat, the last two movies of Michael Bay's Transformers trilogy, the latest three movies for Star Wars (Episodes 1,2,3),G. I. Joe: Rise of Cobra, Spider-Man 3. While the British are winning with the recent Harry Potter Movies and the latest Batman Trilogy. Though Pixar and Dreamworks are doing an excellent job on their movies for America, and it appears this game is just as bad as you say the mmovie is, Nightsider.

Re: New Super Mario Bros. U

FireMario887

Another excellent platforming game for Mario once again. My bro always hogs the DS with NSMB in it! I hope he doesn't hog the gamepad while someone is watching TV.....

Re: Feature: Reinventing Nintendo's Major Franchises on Wii U

FireMario887

A first-person adventure is not a great idea? Using gyroscope aiming technology or touch-screen interactivity while in morph ball? Or using the scanning visor to collect data with both the gyroscope and the touchscreen. A Zelda game would also be great with using touch screen interactivity for operating your map, or swiping your finger across the screen to cut foes. This is really disappointing. Though star fox does sound neat, despite the fact that I never any of the star fox games...

Re: LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga

FireMario887

I am shocked by what the staff did at Game Informer, they reviewed a third-party title onky on the Wii, when the would usually trump PS3 and Xbox 360 over the Wii. Now this is and oddity (Not the game, what Game Informer did).

Re: New Super Mario Bros. U Confirmed as 1080p, Or Not

FireMario887

720p! 720p! No, that will not be tolerated, I've always enjoyed the impressive graphics for non-HD Nintendo games, like the graphics for Super Mario Galaxy 2, Skyward Sword, and especially the cinematics from Other M, imagine how cool those would be with 1080p! A dream crushed....

Re: Activision Releases New Trailer For Transformers Prime

FireMario887

SO AWESOME!!! I love Transformers Prime the animated series (Even my Dad thinks it's awesome) and now the official game is coming to Wii U! This is one of the launch games I'm looking most forward to. Oh yeah nothing is cooler (This is still credit, but I'm also serious) than Transformers!!!

Re: Review: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii)

FireMario887

No no no, 9.5/10. I've actually got better at using the spin attack and I need to get use to howling. But the dungeons lacking a checkpoint thing still gets on my nerves. I am really starting to agree with the stupidity of this review. I actually enjoy the flailing fun, and in the castle town, those houses may remain pointless to explore while those NPCs that cannot be spoken to may remain pointless to talk to. This surely has a minimum score of 9.5/10. You hear me? Nothing below 9.5! You guys don't mind all these comments, right?

Re: Feature: EB Expo 2012 Nintendo Booth Impressions

FireMario887

Not METROID BLAST?!? They dare disrespect Metroid?!? I need to stop playing Zelda: Twilight Princess for once and play some Metroid. At least they got some Batman Arkham City, I bet that was cool. Still No Transformers Prime, what a shame. About Transformers, am I the only one interested in it?!?

Re: Review: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii)

FireMario887

Ok actually never mind about that hour thing... I meant a few days... So far so awesome.... The combat system is very good, most of the controls are very responsive, and the aiming is very precise. Though it does have flaws, the wolf combat is still extremely entertaining but it so fierce that you may fall down a nearby abyss, then I hate the lack of a checkpoint system; sure saving keeps your data and all,but no matter where you save in a dungeon, it brings you back to the begging, then howling a song with a wolf is a little tricky like having to hold the stick up or down given the speed of the notes, and the one other thing I don't like is the the only unresponsive move: the spin attack, you have to really flick the nunchuck making it tricky. Other than those minor problems the game is still doing great through the time I've played. 9.0/10

Re: Review: Super Mario 3D Land (3DS)

FireMario887

Is this technically the classic 2-D gameplay formula put into a 3D world? Sounds awesome. So jealous... Let me guess what the control scheme is : A/B: Jump X/Y : Dash Circle Pad/D-pad : Movement L Button: Crouch R Button: Active Camera

Re: Review: New Super Mario Bros. 2 (3DS)

FireMario887

One more thing... I couldn't tell the 3D when I cranked it up, also my Mom said one of the reasons why I can;t get a 3DS is because the 3D could hurt my eyes if I stare at it for minutes. But I don't complain.
