I am disappointed that Nintendo has not put out a joycon like this already. I thought it was one of the things they had intended with the joycons being easily interchangable- variant joycons with different button configurations.I like Hori, but I want an official Nintendo joycon.
I played this on the ps4. I liked it a lot, and I am tempted to double dip on this game, but I don't have the time to play through it again. There are so many good games coming out.
I disagree with the score. My experience with the vita version is that the gameplay is tight and the skill system is dynamic. The reviewer is on point about this game needing a proper map though. I recommend looking up other reviews.
I miss having a survival mode, it made a big difference. The definitive Skyrim experience, for me, is on the PC, but I still enjoy it on the Switch. The portability is really great!
I'm glad they confirmed a physical copy. I think I have plenty enough to play that I can hold out for that. I think...
"... We are looking at things besides just solely a physical copy of the game, and we are super mindful. We want to look at it as something to be preserved, as an object that has value. "
I got it early too ( last weekend of April). I bought mine from a little Mom and Pop game shop in NA. The independent retailers near me don't care about street dates. Im guessing it gives them an edge on Amazon, retail chains, and digital.
Sometimes they sell new releases a week early and somehow they got Battle Chasers SUPER early. I did't ask how, I doubt theyd say.
Looks great! I dont remember reading/ hearing about this game at all. This is how I wish games released! A quality trailer, that is ALL IN-GAME graphics ( as opposed to worthless cinematic cutscenes), preceding the game's release by a couple of weeks.
Despite the art style looking crude, i think it looks somewhat appealing. The backgrounds look cool and there's enough depth and fun animation on screen to keep it from looking flat and boring, as I would have expected from such a limited style.
Wait and see for me. The fact that this trailer intrigued me on the same week im waiting to play the impossibly pretty Ni No Kuni 2 is cool! Mission accomplished devs.
I like GOG's drm-free system. When/if GOG's server goes offline, you'll still be able to play the game as long as you maintained your downloaded setup file.
The Switch is drowning in a sea of FANTASTIC games and this studio tries to entice us with 24 seconds of gameplay tacked onto the tail end of an obnoxious bit.
I did not about this game before now. Looking foward to playing it! If their release date happens to slide into early 2018, I think it might be for the better. This last quarter of 2017 is looking pretty crowded for the Switch.
Nintendo is already Esports. Officially, they allowed Smash to be played at EVO, and prior to that Smash has had very many grass-roots tournaments. Nintendo also runs the Pokemon championships.
I think Esports is a positive. It showcases strong players and the community that forms around the title increases the understanding and longevity of that game. Why do you dislike Esports?

The faux- retro games are played out for me now. It was charming for a long while though.

This trailer had me googling the release date...
for Octopath Traveller.

Re: Sega Is Looking To Revive Some Of Its Past Classics
Bonanza Bros. - Co-op stealth game would be a great fit for the switch!
Phantasy Star Online- the switch's library is heavy with competitive games, it could use a good co-op rpg.
