The same format they have now but future-proof where everything you have purchased is available on all systems made by Nintendo. Implement an account system.
@OorWullie I have the Sega classic collection on PS3. I rebought all the M2 3DS ports because 3D over HD for retro games anytime. The 3DS M2 ports are the definitive versions in my eyes.
In AUS EB Games WiiUs usually go for $430. I'm surprised the splatoon bundle is only $359. I would buy another WiiU if they released a proper limited edition with some changes to the hardware.
I've been very tempted to buy a club Nintendo SNES controller for wii but they're so expensive I wish Nintendo would sell them I would waste alot of money on controllers.
I received an email last week from EB Games in AUS about how they're opening a new chain of stores called Zing Pop Culture, very similar by the sounds of it.
@Sakura honestly each to his own I prefer the xl as I have large hands but that might not suit you. I would love to get a stardard n3ds because 3ds games aren't so stretched out and the image is denser but cant justify getting one. There's pros and cons for both sizes. With the XL I always use skins theyre a great way to customise your 3ds with no residue, it keeps them free from scratches aswell.
@Sakura I chose the XL model for retro gaming. I think the XL is better suited as when you hold select when booting up VC gameboy games it's the original screen ratio whereas on the smaller model it's not 1:1 it's actually smaller than a real gameboy. It's the same for DS cartridges.
@ottospooky wow that is THE best comment I've ever read on nintendolife and the internet generally. I signed in just to tell you that haha it's exactly how I feel about digital only releases and the rise of digital instruction booklets.
Do the Wii VC games have save states? Like all other VC games? Also there should be the option to select multiple answers on the poll as I'm downloading more than one game.
@Zeldamaster97 I beg to differ, I had the gba cartridge playing on a ds lite and downloaded the wiiu version and compared the two with the same headphones plugged into the ds and gamepad and found much better sound quality on the gamepad
@zool I bought both WiiU and 3DS versions and thought I would prefer WiiU but surprisingly it turns out that the 3D effect is done really well I usually turn 3D off on most games but I always have it on for Shovel Knight. I'm playing on an XL so screens are a good size they're definitely big enough for Shovel Knight. So yes Shovel knight on 3DSXL is worth it can't say the same for the old 3DS or 2DS, new 3DS might be big enough too.
@Kaze_Memaryu I found it easy until I started smashing the checkpoints to earn more money and then when I died at the end of the level I was respawned at the very start. In short I love how you can make this game harder if you choose. It's very easy if you use all checkpoints.
@Prof_Clayton ask a stupid question and recieve a stupid answer haha I just dont understand how you would create/join a club and how members would interact sorry for being naive but I've never been a member of something like that.
Thankyou Nintendolife for posting on Australian news and release dates it's great to have region specific information and support. I'm surprised that there is so much support from this site as Australia is usually left out. Even kotaku aus has less region specific news. The Nintendolife team put in alot of great work and deserve some praise every now and again.
I'm a big batman fan and metroid fan and I can confidently say this game is bad. I bought it near release and traded it in after giving it a good few hours of play. I badly wanted to like it but just couldn't. The fighting mechanics are a watered down and unresponsive version of the console iterations. The graphics are aweful, I'm not one to be picky with graphics but these were so bad that playing this with my 3dsxl on the highest brightness setting and all I could see on the screen was just complete black except for a bright fluro orange line (as I was in detective mode). I rarely post on here but felt like I should let everyone know before they purchase a digital copy of this game and regret it as they are unable to get their money back as the quality of blackgate is sub-par and shouldn't be acceptable for any amount of money.
