Obviously Nintendo doesn't own this type of art style, but the people behind this clearly were trying to replicate what's in Link's Awakening given how eerily similar it looks that it couldn't be accidental nor inspired by it.

Comparisons are fine but unironically calling a game a "killer" of another is completely pathetic. Especially when that "killer" ended up without lasting appeal anyway.

@nessisonett Have you seen their game portfolio? They've been doing ports of Skylanders until Crash and even then weren't brought on to do Crash Team Racing and Crash 4. Blizzard definitely needed the support since their rep was in the gutter even before the lawsuit.

@BabyYoda71 One of the lawsuits of Epic "stealing" dance moves (the Carlton one I believe) ended because the dance move wasn't significant enough to warrant the case going further. I don't see why he should get anything (he's clearly in for the money Epic made for Ukraine). And the parents thing was supposed to be an insult though that was unnecessary.

@icomma Body movements aren't copyrightable in the slightest and it's ridiculous to assume so. Besides the dance moves Epic "stole" are nods to the original dances.

People really should be focusing on copyright law more than Nintendo when it comes to their bs DMCAs. The law literally gives any company the right to copyright strike something as long as it features their property no matter the context. Seriously, the majority of what gets striked against wouldn't be taken down if context actually mattered to the law. Even if it's decades old and isn't even being produced anymore.
