@Ashunera84 Stealing money from Pokemon when their games continue to sell massively despite complaints abound? Yeah sure. Folks still aren't going to assume it's Pokemon whatsoever.
Was the year 1976 just erased from history or something? The fact that Nintendo can just file claims and strikes on these videos shows that literally any company can do the same, they just choose not to. I think it's safe to assume that copyright law the way it works currently is still an abusable mess.
And I figured I mention that the vid is currently 7th for trending in the general tab.
Advance Wars is probably one of the lesser resemblances to realistic war and military yet it still gets delayed a year just like the original when 9/11 happened.
Another opportunity for general news sites to put "Fortnite maker" in their titles instead of Epic Games because of course.
"lawyers claiming that Epic Games hired psychologists to assist in making the title as addictive as possible and provided players with no warnings of these effects."
@Baker1000 So the thing that would help prevent situations like this is only being "tested"? And I was mostly joking with that "hoping it never comes back" comment. I know why it should come back, but I was just hoping it's gone long enough to give more L's to Elon and the people who approved of his bs lol.
@jowe_gw "No one forced him to buy Twitter." Well not initially, but when he tried to get out of the deal, Twitter sued to force him to complete it. The only reason he decided to stick through was that he couldn't find good evidence to win the lawsuit (and after failing multiple times to delay the trial).
What makes this better is that actual verified accounts had a special tag that labeled them as official. For whatever reason, they removed that shortly after. Hopefully it doesn't come back lmao
"Hello Champions! Let’s clear it out of the way first, Roller Champions isn’t getting cancelled, and Ubisoft fully supports it."
Oh so just like Hyperscape right and Ghost Recon Frontline, right?
I don't even know why Ubisoft is still bothering with live services when they just keep failing to keep an audience and they already have Rainbow Six Siege and maybe For Honor.
Even though the fingers should be pointed at Nintendo, don't forget that copyright law, in general, has never given two shiitakes about small creators despite copyright existing for that purpose. It never takes context into consideration (most certainly doesn't take fair use as well). Is it any wonder why Nintendo fan games are almost always shut down even though they fall under fair use?

@Ogbert *losing.
And don't make Palworld look like the one's at fault. What Nintendo is doing is still *****.
Re: Palworld Dev Announces "Disappointing" Game Changes Resulting From Nintendo's Lawsuit
@MegaVel91 Patenting is patenting. No matter what. Nintendo's still just trying to stifle competition.

It's now October 2023 and after another two name changes, the game's release date is STILL unknown.

Re: A New Earthworm Jim Is Coming, But There's A Rather Large Catch
"Earthworm Jim 3 will be an exclusive release for the upcoming Intellivision Amico. Set for launch on October 10th 2020 "
I'm pretty certain Tallarico is regretting that choice...

Re: Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp Is Deploying On Switch This April
@AtlanteanMan Game was supposed to come out last year and was ONLY delayed it cause of the war. I think it's ok.
Re: Metroid Prime Remastered Confirmed For Switch, Launching Digitally Today
Fair warning next time, if a trusted leaker says that there will be 3 of something coming, always subtract 2 from it

These guys are lawyers?
Re: Popular YouTube Channel 'Did You Know Gaming' Receives Copyright Strike For Heroes Of Hyrule Video
This video most certainly falls under fair use, so Nintendo is technically breaking the law by issuing this strike.

@mike_intv I hope to Arceus that happens lol
Re: Random: No, Nintendo Of America Didn't Tweet A Pic Of Mario Flipping The Bird
@Quarth It does because it just highlights why people like Elongated Muskrat shouldn't be running anything with social in the name.

That's literally how Nintendolife have always operated.

I kind of wish they did the FES version and not the portable. Or at the very least offer both

Took Atlus a while.
For real though, when these were announced for Xbox I just knew a Switch port was finally inevitable. Glad to see that was true.

Re: Random: France Bans Gaming Terms Like 'eSports' To Maintain Language Purity
A completely unnecessary change especially when the "legal" made terms aren't any different from the "illegal" ones.

I mean Sega has been snubbing everyone in the main games who isn't named Sonic or Eggman for a while now so this isn't surprising.

@nessisonett King made this, not Blizzard.
