Ahh...The Super Famicom, Japanese counterpart to the SNES, my favorite system. Since this is the 20th anniversary, I wonder if Nintendo's doing something special? 8-)
@Faron That was based on the Japanese version of SMS. It also appeared on the demo for the game.
Good thing people still make codes for the Game Genie. Not to spam, but there's a real cool website for the GG (if you can get it to work). www.thegshi.org
I always felt that practically every week was a bore, with at least one or two games to show for. I'm especially disappointed with the VC. I know tons of games that deserve to be on the VC, and all Nintendo is doing is goofing around with junk that only the most video-game-illiterate would care about.
Quite "smashing" indeed. Does anybody know when this game (or the Wii Remote Plus, better yet) will hit the States? I wanna trade those MotionPlus accessories and some of my remotes to Gamestop!
I still got the Genesis versions of Spiritual Warfare and Joshua & the Battle of Jericho. I also have Super 3D Noah's Ark, which I hear fetches a good price on Ebay.
NOA had BETTER release this in the States. Japan and Europe are always getting the good stuff while we end up eating dirt! All because of a bad economy!
I'm not sure I agree with a 6/10 rating. Personally, I'd give it a 8/10. The only things that are killin' the game are the annoying voice acting and the fact that you have to zap bugs most of the time. Other than that, good game!
I hope this game isn't insane when it comes to difficulty as other games like I've played (glares at Adventure Island) If its just like the original, then there's still walkthroughs on Youtube!
@Dazza If I do upgrade, the only things I'd probably lose is Dr. Mario, Mario Calculator & Clock, and FlipNotes. I didn't download very much, considering IMO that the only thing the DSi is good for is checking the internet while you're using the restroom!

Re: The DK Rap Isn't the Greatest Donkey Kong Song Any More
This song has GOT to be on the next Donkey Kong game!

Re: Feature: Slipped Disk - The History of the Famicom Disk System
I never was interested in the FDS. Nothing more than a useless add-on to me (not to mention it had almost as big of problems as the NES).
Re: Dropping Tetrominoes Might Help with Post Traumatic Stress
So video games are a waste of time, huh? One for the anti-game activists.
Re: Nintendo Download: 8th November 2010 (North America)
"No demos here"
That should've said "No VC here." Boooooring!
Re: You Can Gaze At This Super Mario 25th Anniversary Box Now

Re: Nintendo Download: 1st November 2010 (North America)
Ho hum. Another boring week. I'm gonna save up for that Mario Wii and DSi that's coming out.
Re: Japanese Virtual Console list - November 2010
Where's the first Mario Party game? Is Nintendo scared of lawsuits by people with blistered hands?
Re: Review: DuckTales (NES)
@NintyFan
There's TMNT for the NES, but it's 600 points. Konami learned the hard way that games based on franchises are a pain to rerelease.
Re: Review: DuckTales (NES)
Hey, Bryan! Do Rescue Rangers next time. That one's good, too!
Re: Super Mario All-Stars 25th Anniversary Edition Coming to U.S.
YEEHAW!
(Does the Kirby Dance)

I know tons of things about Mario, but I never knew about THAT! O_O

Re: Phoenix Wright and Professor Layton Team Up on 3DS
@10
I don't think PL takes place in the 1800's. There's cars in the series, that's for sure. Cars didn't pick up until the early 1900's.
Re: Phoenix Wright and Professor Layton Team Up on 3DS
This...is...COOL! I think the professor's gonna kick Phoenix's butt GOOD!
Re: Walmart Leaks Red DSi XL Package for America
I bet it'll come on Black Friday, the day before our Thanksgiving. I noticed Nintendo's been making a tradition to sell LE stuff on that day.
Re: Gamers Can Now Pre-Order the Limited Edition Red DSi XL
ARRRRRRGH!! Japan and Europe ALWAYS get the good stuff while we get a crappy website!

Re: Nintendo Download: 11th October 2010 (North America)
No VC again, huh? Oh well. We got Sonic!!
Re: Wii Remote With MotionPlus Built-In Launches in Japan Next Month
I'm SO gonna get the red one!

NOA had BETTER release this in the States. Japan and Europe are always getting the good stuff while we end up eating dirt! All because of a bad economy!
Re: Nintendo Release Schedule Outs Mario Party 2, Super Bonk and More
How come the second MP game and not the first one?
Re: Nintendo of Japan Shows Off Upcoming DS Games
I hope that the next Kirby game doesn't have that crappy music that has plagued the recent portables. If it does, I'm complaining!
Re: 3DS To Get Revamped Online Shop
So no GBA yet, huh? Maybe it ain't old enough.
Re: Nintendo Download: 27th September (North America)
Why do I even bother to check? Another lame week, as usual!
Re: Classic Mario DS Games Get Reprints at Toys 'R' Us
@6 I agree. I could probably find the games on Amazon for a little bit cheaper. None of the games have gone the way of EarthBound yet.
Re: Nintendo Turns 121 Years Old Today
@3 Nice pic! That's the coolest thing I've ever seen!

Re: Super Mario Collection Special Pack Revealed
Boy I wish this thing ain't a Japan-exclusive, but I won't worry: I still got my copy of Super Mario All-Stars, so up yours, Nintendo!
Re: Nintendo Download: 7th & 8th September 2010 (Japan)
Well I'll be darned! That MegaTen game's got Jack Skelton in it!
Re: Rumour: Nintendo Japan Celebrating Mario's Birthday with Super Mario Collection
Ha! I've had the cart for a while, so I'm not worried. I still think this game's better than the NES game. ;-P
Re: Nintendo Download: 30th August 2010 (North America)
Heh. Who cares? I just got Animaniacs for the Sega Genesis (Mega Drive to Europe)!!
Re: Nintendo Download: 31st August & 1st September 2010 (Japan)
That Action Puzzle Rabi x Laby game sure does look like Mario & Wario.
Re: Nintendo Download: August 23rd (North America)
Hey cool! Ufouria!...But, will it run on PAL? Oh well, who cares?
Re: Nintendo Download: 16th August 2010 (North America)
Why do I even bother checking out the new games on the Wii? More PC port poop to me. >
Re: Review: Star Fox Command (DS)
@ballkirby1 No, you're not the only one. I liked Assault, too. I think that's the best one, believe it or not. 0_0
Re: Super Mario Bros. Movie Re-released on DVD, Spot the Difference
I've only watched bits and parts of the movie, and, to put it charitably, it should've been better off an animated movie.
Re: Harvest Moon 64 Will Not Sprout on Virtual Console
That's a lot of hogwash! This is almost the same ordeal that keeps Mother 3 from going outside Japan. Excuses, excuses.
Re: Nintendo Download: 9th August 2010 (North America)
No VC?! Not again. And I was wanting Ufouria, too!
Re: Nintendo Download: 2nd August 2010 (North America)
Looks like the VC is suffering a HUGE drought. I'd love to see Nintendo declare that the VC is off. Peh!
Re: MundoRare Shuts Down After Losing Faith in Rare's New Direction

Judging from their standpoint, I think Rare might go bankrupt within the next two years!
Re: Nintendo Download: 26th July 2010 (North America)
A bumper crop for DSiWare, huh? What else is new? Seems there's been a bumper crop for WiiWare and DSiWare every week!
Re: Review: PokéPark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure (Wii)
Looked kinda fun from what I saw from the trailer.
Re: Alley-Oop! Hoopworld Slams WiiWare's Backboard on 19th July
Ride, daddy, ride.
Re: Nintendo Download: 2nd July (Europe)
I've heard of Ufouria before. The music and graphics are great! I wonder if there's a small chance this game might hit the States?
Re: DSiWare Will Not Be Transferable Unless Nintendo Makes Changes

Re: Review: A Kappa's Trail (DSiWare)
@Adam There was also something about the Pigmasks making a cameo in this game in an earthboundcentral.com article.
