Re: Video: What Legend Of Zelda Games Can We Expect To Fill The Gap In 2022?

Dezzy70

Ideally for me no need to fill the gap with a Zelda game, wait for BOTW2 in the spring.
What I would like is a new AAA Mario or DK platform game for end of this year.
I maybe wrong but apart from Mario Odyssey and the Bowser fury add on, that has been it for brand new AAA platform from Nintendo in house studios.
Which is not great really after over five years.

Re: Talking Point: If Breath Of The Wild 2 Launched Alongside New Switch Hardware, Would You Upgrade?

Dezzy70

@Bizzyb
I would love a Switch 2 with some more power
But don’t expect in my opinion Series X power.

I know what you mean the good old Switch is starting to buckle and look at bit old now in visuals and performance.
The internet is talking Unreal Engine 5, graphics this and that and the Switch is looking even more weaker.

Also the Switch will start to become third party multiplat title irrelevant as well, sort of already is a bit.

@marandahir
Picking up on your, some wanting a powerful Switch 2 like the PS5 etc.
No good to Nintendo what so ever, they have not the amount of developers, experience to deliver games say of FH5 or HFW pure level and detail, texture quality and graphical scope in 4K with HDR etc etc.

Nintendo as they are now would never get the game out to the public, it would take them about ten years to create a Zelda the graphical greatness of HFW.

Re: Best Nintendo Switch 3D Platformers

Dezzy70

Let’s be honest it’s about time Nintendo gave us a new AAA platform game be it Mario Odyssey 2 or 2d Mario or Donkey King.
5 years this October 2022 since Mario Odyssey and we have had nothing new AAA since, not including re-releases, ok a 5 hour Bowers Fury, which was good in its own way.
What happened to the statement, having one console hybrid instead of two separate consoles home and handheld will enable Nintendo to produce more first party big games. I think that has fallen by the way side Nintendo.

Re: Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2 Delay Sees Nintendo Shares Slump 6%

Dezzy70

@UsurperKing
I get what you are saying
But the bigger gaps in release was because there where big changes and also new hardware.
Why I picked Galaxy 1 to 2 was because of same hardware and similar game design and assets.
So Mario Odyssey 1 to 2 could be a similar reflection.
Now Galaxy was 3 years, so I was thinking Odyssey being a bit more involved could be 5 years instead of Galaxy 3 years, so I allowed an additional 2 years, also it is same hardware both Switch.
I think I have reasonable in my assessment.

Re: Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2: Everything We Know So Far

@Bret
Just thought it might be something nice Nintendo could do to burden the BOTW delay.

Of course I would much rather prefer new AAA in house game maybe a Mario Odyssey 2 or DK platform game, but it all seems very go slow at Nintendo house at the moment.

Re: The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2 Delayed To Spring 2023

Dezzy70

@rjejr
You have some extremely valid points there of which I can’t disagree.
It’s like we haven’t had a new Mario or DK 2d or 3d platform game really since Mario odyssey 2017.
I do wonder what their in house studios do all day as they take ages to make games on very low level hardware and only for one hardware.

They would never ever get a game out on a new generation device of the technical level of Forza Horizon 5 or Horizon Forbidden West and also on various console and pc hardware.

Their studios at NINTENDO in house must be tiny and have hardly anyone working there.

Re: Video: Switch Online Could Learn A Lot From Xbox Game Pass

Dezzy70

Online this, gamepass that.
I had a group round last night.
Local multiplayer MK8 you can’t beat that, all together competing and having a good fun and some food. PS, I didn’t play well 😂👻
When I want to play MK8 online I just start it up always gamers online and race online, it’s so simple what’s all the issues and fuss about.

Re: Video: Switch Online Could Learn A Lot From Xbox Game Pass

Dezzy70

Game pass or no game pass all that matters to me is new top quality games and some big AAA games that appeal to me.
If Sony and Nintendo business model deliveries those games the way it does like now then that is great.
As for Xbox they are not delivering nothing AAA and new this year or maybe just Starfield November, so gamepass is pointless to me and so is Xbox.

Games sell consoles that’s why Nintendo are top of the tree and Sony there as well.
My local stores in the UK now all have Series X sitting on shelves and easily available to buy meaning the momentum of Xbox has now slowed, meaning Gamepass is not really selling consoles as it has no new exclusive AAA games and no buzz about it. Microsoft think gaming is about old games, making an appearance in June and having one big AAA in November 2022 and not managing their studios well. Which is why they will always struggle and sit in third place.

Re: Best Kirby Games Of All Time

Dezzy70

Have to agree with the number one spot
The only Kirby game that has kept my attention and playing and looking forward to carrying on when I stop playing.
Cleared the first area nearly 100% just 2 time trials to beat the target time. Then off to the next area.
Great game, just misses the Mario 3d World and Bowsers Fury top spot but very good.
