Re: The Legend of Zelda Monopoly Dated for 15th September in US

Crimzonlogic

@BigH88 It's just too much money to spend on a thing that will sit on my shelf. I would definitely want it if I had people to play with, but nah. My friends aren't into Zelda. My limited money is best put towards other things that I really want and can use. I'd love to collect stuff like this if I were rich, though. Maybe someday, eh?

@BlueStar101 Oh, pfft. Hardly a typo.

Re: Nintendo Goes Download-Only With The 2014 Club Nintendo Elite Rewards

Crimzonlogic

I decided to get Donkey Kong Country Returns, even though I don't have enough space to download it quite yet. But now I can't get on the eShop to redeem the code. The eShop is unavailable, apparently. Anyone else having this problem, or is it just me?

I'm thinking I should just sell this code so I can finally buy Shovel Knight. I can't afford to buy games right now, so maybe this is my chance to get it. Shovel Knight would fit on the SD card, too. Are these elite codes tied to our accounts? Are they fine to sell to others?

Re: Nintendo Goes Download-Only With The 2014 Club Nintendo Elite Rewards

Crimzonlogic

There are a couple of games I'd actually want, but they are Wii U games and my Wii U has no space left to download stuff. A physical reward would have been better for me.
I guess I can get Donkey Kong Country again, but I sold that game before because I didn't really get into it. Side scrolling platformers tend to not be my cup of tea...Anyone want to trade something for a DKCR3D code?
Too bad Shovel Knight on 3DS is not a reward. I really want that game. I can't buy it because I kinda lost my job...No money.
And to think, last year's reward of the Majora's Mask soundtrack was really awesome. I want more stuff like that.

@BLPs
Hey, you just didn't talk to the right people. I would have certainly helped you with whatever questions you had that I knew the answer to(If it were about pokemon games, that is, since I'm not too knowledgeable about other games.) Not all of us are a-holes. I'm sorry you met with a bunch of jerks. I have, too, actually. I guess it's unavoidable.

@noctowl
For once, I agree with you. If they can't get rid of IVs, then they could at least make a way to strengthen IVs on a pokemon so that they aren't set in stone. Imagine being able to train up your low-IV starter and make them perfectly ready to battle "competitively" in tournaments after the story/adventure part of the game is done! That would REALLY be training your pokemon. No longer would any pokemon be "unusable" because it had low IVs. Any pokemon can be trained to be the best that they can possibly be! I really hope they do this OR get rid of IVs in future games.

Re: Controversy Arises at U.S. Pokémon Nationals With Regards to Cheating

@Zzyyvux
Two problems with that: Ditto can't be obtained in a dream ball, and ditto can't pass down its ball to its offspring. Whether ditto is acting as the male or female parent, the offspring won't inherit its ball. If a male pokemon is bred with a ditto, the baby will hatch in a regular red pokeball. If a female pokemon is bred with ditto, the baby will inherit the mother's ball.

Re: Controversy Arises at U.S. Pokémon Nationals With Regards to Cheating

Crimzonlogic

I thought the X and Y games weren't hackable at this point. How the heck did he hack a gen 6 pokemon to change its ball, anyway? Only the female parent can pass down the pokeball, (in this case the female parent was honedge/doublade/aegislash or ditto, none of which can be in a dream ball in the first place) so he couldn't have used a gen 5 dream ball pokemon to pass down the ball. So this means that X and Y are now being hacked in some way?

I'm okay with people "hacking" just for legitemate stats and attacks. That's fine, it's not like those pokemon are any stronger than my own flawlessly-bred babies. If Rizzo's pokes were hacked, then at least they had ordinary stats. I think it's only a problem when pokemon have stats higher than they normally can, and have attacks that they normally can't. I'm still mad at the time an opponent's salamence used aeroblast. That's just cheating. >: (

Re: Parent Trap: Amiibo Charts A Fresh Course In The Toys To Life Sector

Crimzonlogic

Is it just me or do the Link and Zelda figures look, um...Not that great? Something about the color and their faces seems off...Well, they will probably look much better later, or better in person(I mean, uh, in toyson?). These are prototypes that have been shown so far, right?

The Samus and Pit figures look fantastic. Hopefully the final products look that good. I'll buy both of them.

Re: E3 2014: Getting To Grips With Amiibo, Nintendo's Revolutionary Take On NFC Toys

Crimzonlogic

That Pit figure looks excellent! I have been wanting to buy one of those Figma Pit action figures ever since I first saw them, but they are so expensive! I won't spend that much money on a toy that will just sit on my shelf. This little Amiibo thing looks like it will be a better deal. I hope they make a good Palutena figure as well. I don't usually collect things like that, but I want more Kid Icarus stuff.
I probably won't buy any of the other figures...Well, maybe I'll buy the Samus because that one looks awesome, all gold and shiny!
I wonder if I will even like to use these. Hopefully I don't get so into them that I'll want more.

Re: Review: The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap (Wii U eShop / Game Boy Advance)

Crimzonlogic

@Henmii I hold it up along side those games you mentioned (except for maybe Link's Awakening, since I wasn't crazy about that one.)
What's wrong with having the same overworld? It takes place after that game in the same land. It would be weird if it wasn't the same setting. But it's not like it's the same game. In fact, I didn't like A link To The Past much, but I loved the other. they feel very different to me. (Don't get me wrong, ALTTP is a good game. Just isn't a favorite of mine.)

Re: Treasure Your 3DS Game Saves Forever With This Handy Accessory

Crimzonlogic

So...How long before I should expect my Pokemon X version to crap out on me? I completed the pokedex and bred a bunch of flawless pokemon on that. That would suck if it suddenly died. I've never thought about that happening.
This save bank thing looks promising, considering that. If they are making these, then that probably means that people's DS games have kicked the bucket already.

Re: Review: Ittle Dew (Wii U eShop)

Crimzonlogic

I'll buy it if it gets those glitchy problems patched. Those sound annoying. And no sound on the gamepad sucks. I like to play games on the gamepad at night in bed and I use headphones so no one else in the house wakes up.

Re: Here Are Plenty of Lovely Hyrule Warriors Screenshots at Which to Gawk

Crimzonlogic

I'm not a fan of dynasty warriors, but this looks pretty sweet. Impa here is pretty much the best thing ever. I'm looking forward to some gameplay trailers.
Shia's armor outfit looks uncomfortable, though. It has pointy bits on the boob area. Looks like she could get boob-stabbed by those if she jumps or moves too fast! Hurts to think about...
I'm kinda okay with her being scantily clad, but why not make the bad GUY a little nekkid as well? I'm joking. Not really. But yeah, mostly joking. (Lol, I sound like a perv!)
