Great review Drake. Hudson is really dishig out some great games on Wiiware... however, I'm not sure I'm going to get this. Although wi-fi would be a blast, I was somewhat hoping for 4-player local play. It won't be the reason why I won't get it, it'll just be the reason why I might get some other games before it.

Both videos looked good, so I can't wait for either game (Cave Story especially. It's been taking it's sweet time, so I hope it's as good as everyone has said it is).

Ah well, Icarian sounds cooler, so I'll just keep on calling it Icarian. Hey, at least they aren't battling some court battle, which results in the game never appearing on American shores. That would have been a tragedy. Speaking of which, does that mean Icarian (Nyxquest) will be coming soon?

This game is a pure no-brainer for me, so I can't wait for it to come out.

Although Mindstrong doesn't sound like a game I would ever get (I believe I ranted about it some time ago), I'm actually slightly hoping that this game gets a good review, since XSEED needs the money.

Oooh... I would love a KOTOR or Bioshock for the Wii, but something else new (and a bit less violent) wouldn't be that bad at all.

Wow, I'm surprised that this game did so well. I thought that Icarian was going to do well, but I was expecting a 7 or 8, so a 9 is surprising. Great review, Drake.

Oh, and I'm all for the 10 star rankings, since it's more percise than the 5 star system, yet it isn't over the top (pun not intended) like metacritic (with 100 point systems).

No matter what the score, the review is what people should pay attention to, because the score is always going to be debateable, but the information given in the review is (almost) always solid information that others can use to make their own opinion. I think this is true, if not later, than the Americans. This is off Casey Loe's article of Muramasa in V. 243 of Nintendo Power (it says July 2009 edition, but I think their dating system is off.)

I'm not sure if this means that it comes out in September or that it could come out any time during or after September (or if any of this information is credible, since I don't know people's opinion of NP), but what is a fact is that the 2010 release date is also bumped up for America as well.

The first time I saw this trailer, I thought it was Metroid, but I guess the headline gave the suspense away . Anyway, this looks like the most interesting Metroid I've seen in a long time. I really liked Metroid Fusion (GBA), but I never got into the first-person Metroid counsle games. Hopefully I get the best of both worlds with Other M (great action that doesn't let up combined with amazing graphics.)

I wonder if it is just going to come with the game or with the controller and the game, since I'm perfectly happy with my white Wii. The black wii does look cool though...

I wonder what they are going to do with this... I don't know whether to like it or not, since I was begging for something completely new, and this fits the category perfectly, but I struggle to find out what game this could work for. You only need one game to make hardware a success (balance board-Wii Fit), but I struggle to see what that one game could be.

So that's why there were so many Starfy avatars. I completely missed the announcement of the contest, so I got completely confused why many people had Starfy for their avatar. Congrats, Racoon Mario, and hopefully I get the memo that there is a contest. These avatars are awesome!

My predictions for the charts go as follows...
1) FFIV:TAY, BB+, Hold'em, and S&S (won't predict order) will make a new TOP 4 (as in they're going to stay around forever.)
2) Eduardo and Bit.Trip will be on the list next week.
3) Either Sandy Beach, MLAAK, and/or SS Chess will drop out for Eduardo and Bit. Trip

Personally, it's more fun to watch these lists if I make predictions. That way I don't just stare blankly at the list and not notice the changes.

I've been very interested with this game. With all the great reviews it's been getting, the challange it seems to boast, and the CD that it comes with, this sounds like a game fit for me. Excellent review by the way (nice beginning).

The video actually made me intrigued. At first, I thought this was going to be a horrible juvenile version of Meerkat Manor, but the video made me re-consider. Hopefully it becomes quite good, since I know some people in my family would absolutely love it.

Hmm...we get Eduardo the Samurai Toaster, while EU gets Super Smash Bros for N64... as long as Eduardo is as good as I hope it'll be, then I think I can wait for Super Smash Bros.

This is a game that would greatly benefit from a video. If the video looks cool, then I'll be interested. If the video looks bad, then I'm with KS8 and Twilight. However, great article.

I was on the fence with this game, since it had a nice, funky feel, but it looked a bit childish even for me to play. Glad to see that this is a fun game (wow, there are a ton of good games to get...)

I'm most excited for Professor Layton. It's coming soon AND I've been anticipating it. Also, what is Style Sawy?

I'll keep my overall opinion on remakes in mind and say I would rather have the original before the "wii"make.

It would be cool if another NL person won the goodie bag, so an epic Chief Meat cook-off would persue.

This actually looks good. Although it is 1500 points, I would love to play this game. It would just be better with online, but for me, not a necesity.

Personally, Mario vs. DK2 is one of my favorite DS games, so if I had a DSi, I would certainly buy this (stripped down or not).

I've been so excited about this, I got Sin & Punishment for VC. Hopefully the controls will be a bit better.

Wow, I'm so used to WoG being the top game, I thought that we were seeing EU's top 20 list and that this was a late April Fool's joke. Hopefully WoG will continue to shine, but this is incredible news.

I'm still skeptical about this one. There is already a tornado based game (Tornado) on the DS, and that was only average. Although Zepher (sweet name, by the way) somewhat feels like Katamari, I got bored of the demo of Katamari, and Tornado suffered from the same boredom problems, so...pass for now, but if new info intrigues me, I could change my mind.

I have never heard of the series before, but the video from Awsome 5 has me excited. If it's similar to Strong Bad in terms of points, count me in!

That was actually a pretty good commercial. Hopefully the game will live up to all the hype everyone is creating.

I like the puzzles and the whole WiiPlay Tanks vibe. With more bells and whistles (multiplayer and online options would be nice, hint hint) this could be a game that surprises many people.

@Sean- What is Asobu Made in Ore? It's been tops on the Japanese charts for quite some time.

Oh, and I doubt NL will ever run out of pics for WoG. With so many levels and options, I doubt it'll ever be an issue (although Corbie's TV is sweet.)

Well, I have huge respect for XSEED, so hopefully they will execute well with this game. I probably won't get it, but hopefully it'll be because I'm not into horror games (with the exception of Ghost Wire, which isn't pure horror), and not because it's horrible.

This is the first game that has made me regret not getting a DSi. For all the other games, I could just say "I'd rather get this game," or "This game looks a lot like that game", but I can only compare Ghost Wire to Fatal Frame, except much cooler and portable. If I get a DSi, this will be the first game I'll download, hands down!

This game brings up a ton of comparisons to Kirby. I actually would be surprised if this game doesn't sell well due to all the comparisons of Kirby. Speaking of which, although I would agree with you, LegendofPasta99 (20), I actually like some of the Kirby mini-games, so why not. If they're fun, I take no offense towards it.

This game looks absolutely brilliant. A day-one buy for me! Hopefully it comes shortly after it's (obvious) EU release.

Love Grasshopper, not a huge fan of NMH, but I would like to try it again. Also, on the side, I would guess that they might try and wait so that they can incorporate Motion+. If it'll help Red Steel 2, it'll probably help NMH 2 as well. Oh, and pass on the TP.

I'm curious about this game. I wasn't intrested in it before, but NP and this article has convinced me otherwise. Also, wasn't Starfy an assist trophy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl? That counts as a cameo, doesn't it?

I'll keep this one on radar, since Ignition picked up Muramasa and I love Mercury Meltdown: Revolution, but I'm more interested in Sands of Destruction. Hopefully SoD doesn't have to compete with Nostalgia.
