I'll probably get Punch-Out!!, but I'm really waiting for Wario Land and Kid Icarus: OMAM.

Nice update Europe. USA has some 3DS VC catching up to do now. Looking forward to Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters.

I'm to the point now that I'm quite excited about it. I'm sure Game Freak is working on a few new twists to make it really fun and worthwhile to new players and those that completed Black/White. I dusted off my limited edition Pokémon White DSi last night and spent a good hour in Unova again, kind of looking forward to a new adventure in that region.

After my initial disappointment that it wasn't on 3DS, I actually have high hopes for this game. I'm sure Game Freak will have some tricks up their sleeves and this will be a really fun new entry in the series. I'm not expecting new pokémon, aside from the alternate forms shown, but I'm guessing the game will be filled with content and new challenges. Can't wait for a US release date and more details!

@LightSamus Based on all the elements of the game you'd like to get rid of, I'd say Pokémon isn't really the game for you. Make all the changes you suggest and it's just not a Pokémon game anymore.

@MEDARD In that case, Nintendo should just discontinue development of all new 3DS games and move them to the old DS since there are so many more DS owners to sell games too. Right?

PS. Just to be clear, I'm not judging the game itself, it'll probably be great. I'm just stating my opinion that it should have been on 3DS.

@ZeroX Think about it like this; Put a proper Pokemon on 3DS and watch the system fly off of store shelves like never before.

People said the first Black and White should have been on 3DS as a launch title to help sell systems. Almost a year in, close to two by the time it comes out in the west, and the 3DS still won't have it's own Pokemon game. They rushed Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 to 3DS in order to "save the system," not sure why they wouldn't want this Pokemon sequel to be a part of the 3DS library as well.

Should have been for 3DS. I still get it though depending on just how much of a "true sequel" it is.

I agree with Nibelilt. I don't want to play a DS game in 2013, which is likely the earliest we'll see it in the west. It'd be nice to see it on 3DS for more than the 3D and graphics, I'd like to see StreetPass, SpotPass, pedometer, AR functions, etc.

Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 for Nintendo DS. Why not 3DS?

Edit: Those new Kyurem forms look like Kyurem had babies with Reshiram and Zekrom. I don't know about those yet. Meloetta is shown too, that's nice.

By the way guys, Masuda is not going to make an announcement about a spin off game. Game Freak doesn't make the Ranger, Mystery Dungeon, Snap, Colossium, etc. etc. games. They make the main series games and as such if Masuda was going to comment on a game it would be one of those.

@MetalDragonZero Yeah, they probably shouldn't since stuff that happens in Japan doesn't affect people anywhere else in the world. Right?

As long as it's a main series game on 3DS I'll be happy. If it's anything else, I'll be disappointed. Of course, we in the west still won't get whatever it is for about a year.

I'll end up getting Rolling Western, despite my initial surprise by it's price. Looking forward to some 3DS VC, but I'm not going to get upset by the infrequent updates, I still have lots of great games to play!

That was a cool video and I'm excited about Mario Tennis Open and Kid Icarus, but I was hoping for some news on Luigi's Mansion, Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem. Slightly more interested in Spirit Camera too.

Would have been an instant buy if priced at $6.99, but three dollars more is giving me a reason to wait for reviews.

@Highwinter - Because Nintendo can make money on a "simple rehash" of the Hoenn games. I think fans sometimes forget that video games are a business, not just fan service. Why add Hoenn in for free on a new game when you could sell it on it's own?

@Highwinter - if you wouldn't want to play a R/S remake, guess what, there's an option called not buying it that you could take advantage of!

Many people would like to play a 3D, upgraded version of Ruby/Sapphire. Not to mention kids that are new to the series and never owned a GBA or even played a third gen. game. So I would like to see it.

A 3DS core Pokemon would be much appreciated!

As a Nintendo only owner and fan, I'm happy to see 3DS succeed, but not gleeful about Vita potentially failing. I personally just don’t wish to own a Vita so I have no stake in it’s success one way or the other as long as great 3DS games keep coming.

I never played this one back when I was a kid, so I'll get it when it releases in NA. Looks like fun.

Good update this week. NES on 3DS VC, Wii VC and a Demo. Should make people happy. If Wario Land comes even better, but we'll live if it doesn't make it out this week.

Nothing for me this week, but I'm not going to let that ruin my day. I'm just glad I have tons of other great games to play in my collection!

My Sakura Samurai game downloaded and plays properly, what a relief after reading that some of you are having trouble with it. To all those saying that it does not look good, have you read any reviews? IGN and this site gave it 9 and 8. I played it for a bit and am so far quite impressed. It has nice presentation, style and a surprising amount of depth, even right from the beginning. Not to mention it was developed in-house by Nintendo, and you can tell! You all should give it a shot.

RAD! Getting Sakura Samurai: Art of the Sword as soon as I get home! Great update today, sorry for those that are disappointed.

Oh man I hope we get that Kid Icarus GameBoy game. Never played it and it looks RAD!

Good update, but nothing for me this time. Just ordered that RAD game card case though.

Looking forward to whatever new "big hit title" Miyamoto can come up with. Hopefully he'll create a RAD new game world with fun characters and gameplay! Get a Pikmin on 3DS too please.

Please release Animal Crossing this year, and at least announce Fire Emblem for the West, that would be RAD. Looking forward to E3.

More Mario is good news for me, I love 2D Mario games. I would love to see many of the ideas that have been mentioned above such as Waluigi, that would be RAD!

Have all the whiners actually played all of the VC games currently available? I doubt it. Why don't you just download one you don't have instead of moaning like a bunch of babies?

I have the Cosmo Black 3DS and I think it's a very sleek, cool handheld. I also have the Pokemon Dialga/Palkia DS Lite and the Pokemon White DSi. My GBA SP is the Pearl Blue. And I had the original grey GameBoy. Lots of good memories.

@ Koops3 - I hope there's StreetPass, I always like any of those kinds of extras.

How can fictional characters in a completely fictional setting have guns? It confounds me day and night, it makes no sense at all. I'm going to keep playing Mario where everything there makes perfect sense.

Week after week the Nintnendo Download thread is full of nothing but whiners and complainers (except for brandonbwii). Some of you act like you don't have any video games to play and the weekly eshop update is the only way you'll ever get to play something.
