I'm from the USA and I still have four weeks left. I don't think it's the country that depends on when school starts and ends but the specific region.

I was thinking of getting marth and kirby but marth's quality is pretty bad compared to the others and kirby has a crack in his eye lol ( I'm sure they will fix that eventually). I'm more concerned on what they will do for me in game. I don't want to buy them if they are just figurines.

I would love to get Bravely Default but I don't see any other games on there that interest me too much. Tomodachi life looks interesting and so does Kirby triple delx but there both kid of meh for me

@smikey Really? I got an email from Nintendo about Tomodachi life as well but it did not include any codes. Oh well...

I never enjoyed MH games but if other people enjoy them and Nintendo is doing better financially because of it I guess I shouldn't be complaining. I recently downloaded MH3U to see if I enjoyed it anymore than 2 or 1, and honestly it's just not the game for me.

This article cleared some concepts and blurred some others. When I look at the technological advancements being made all the time, it is hard to keep up. Even looking individually at Nintendo, let's see... at home consoles we started with NEs, SNES, N64, NGC, wii, wii u. The advancements with those consoles were color, larger storage 3demensional fields(ex. Mario 64), then wi-fi, motion control, then HD. Those were a lot of advancements! But the handhelds expand the advancements even more! there was handheld color, and handheld 3demensional playing fields, touch screens, cameras, non glasses 3d, handheld wi-fi. With all this in mind it is not surprising that nintendo plans to expand even further. Especially recently I have been amazed with certain features. "Non glasses 3d?" "Motion controls?" I was amazed when I first experienced these things. I'm not sure what this "non-wearable technology" will be, but I'm sure it'll be great.

Mind blown I can't even wrap my head around all this stuff right now. I'm both excited and nervous about all this change.

Ahhhh, that is much more clear now thank you. I saw many other attack on titan openings mixed with other things but they had a plot based on AOT, that id why this opening confused me. The really good/funny ones I've seen are:

Grrrr I had my hopes up but I am honestly disappointed. The animation and stuff was really good, but the only thing included about attack on titan is the theme song. Where are all the titans????

From this video, it seems that the titans are underpowered in comparison with the anime. I hope it comes to north america but I would hate it if it were dubbed. I can only watch this in subbed because english voice overs just aren't the same.

I want to get this game but not sure whether to get it on wii u or on 3ds. I need more funds... Which one do you guys want to get? considering we are on the 3ds versions site i'm guessing most of you are going to say 3ds.

The Zelda in skyward sword didn't do as much fighting so they wouldn't have had as many moves to add.

That was a very interesting analogy... Although I feel like everyone is saying You're going to fall off the cliff!!! but in reality you are 3 miles from the nearest lethal fall.
To put that more clearly I think everyone is saying false bad news about nintendo. Think of all the doom ridden news that never affected anything. It's good to hear the reassuring voice saying "you're no where near a cliff, keep walking."

I just finished reading every comment and my eyes are about to fall out.
With that being said, I would like to add my own insight to this subject matter.

I noticed that some people believe this is an inappropriate time to compare these consoles. The Wii U has been out for about a year now and the PS4 only came out recently. Yes that is true, however, the Wii U was released first so developers had less time to create the Wii U than the makers of PS4 did. Now that I mention it, Nintendo has been the first in many things. They created the first hand-held color game, the Gameboy Color; maybe even the first hand-held console being Gameboy? Obviously also first 3D console 3ds and I think wii was first motion control Console... Well you get the idea. Nintendo is able to provide these new features much more quickly than any other company and I think that they deserve some applause for that clap clap. Not only do they provide these consoles quicker but I think they are better in general. Perhaps I am wrong on this, being it is just my opinion, but I got the xbox 360 and the wii and the playstation 2. I know they are not in the same time release area... thing.... but just by comparing these I feel like when I first opened the Wii and played for the first time there was that spark of- perhaps excitement is the best word. With the other consoles that spark was not really there, or at least it wasn't that strong. I think Nintendo is superior in the matter that they really attract consumers of games with the first time they play. This opinion may or may not be due to my history of buying Nintendo games for a long time but Microsoft and sony have not really been around as long as Nintendo.

I... I simply have no response for this.....

I am in a fairly populated location so if I just take a car ride then sometimes I get streetpass tags. I'm glad they have this, I will be sure to go to a barnes and nobles or something to get some regions I'm missing. I actually have like half of Canada from a trip I recently took there but I only have the majority of New England (where I live) so I still have a lot to go

Why would they cancel the 3ds if it is going to have more sales then the Wii u?
Honestly I think it will depend on what people are looking for. I have both Wii u and 3ds XL and I don't really have enough money to by both. I am leaning towards the Wii u version because the graphics are better (I'm slightly picky about that) and the controls will prob be same as last time. Then again I love playing online mode and I can't imagine how great the 3ds online mode will be (if they have it). The last thing is that the Wii u version will probably cost more money. 3D land for 3ds was 40$ and 3D world for Wii U was 60$ so I'm expecting a similar difference in price. It will be a tough decision... Hopefully I can get enough money by then for both.

How this affects you really depends on if you are in favor of borders or not. I suppose there are always...exceptions... to the rules, however I would rather have absolutely no borders (which I am slightly against) than to have mostly no borders but some exceptions. Being in between usually is not the best decision. There is, of course... the possibility that this is one of those times where it is the best decision... oh inception you!

I really hope I end up with enough money for this christmas to buy a wii u and get this game. I have the 3ds xl and mario 3d land was definitely one of the best game I've played in my life. I would be extremely thankful if I acquire the funds for this. While I wait another month I'm relying on nintendo and you guys commenting to keep me updated!

I just couldn't help but laugh when I saw them knitting in the commercial. My japanese is minimal (Only know some from anime) but this commercial really just says "smile" in my mind. I don't really mind the "cheesiness" or whatever.

They probably did. Pikmin 3 came out after brawl, maybe there is something they can use from there. I didn't get pikmin 3 but it sounds pretty fun. So many games, so little funds

Peach can't resist that cape lol. Marth is my most used character and I'm glad Nintendo was nice enough to bring him to super smash bros. I'm also a fan of fire emblem, so I hope they have chrome or maybe even lucina if they want a girl character. I was really looking forward to the SSB 4 on 3ds but after seeing the graphics here... hmmmm... wii u is looking pretty cool. I hope I can get one for holidays if price drops again. Then again, when I first saw mario 3d and I was thinking the same thing but the graphics ended up looking okay on the actual screen when I decided to buy it. I'll give you a shot 3ds!

I do like sonic as a S.S.B. character. I enjoyed playing him in brawl. The only thing I don't like is that his attacks are not all that diverse. All you do the whole game is get into that spin ball thing the whole game (at least for me).

I would like to see some more on super smash bros. 3, I saw a few others comment about it earlier. However isn't this just for 2013? It says "focusing on games launching later this year". I'm confused...

I can not help but to read every comment and it is wasting so much of my time...
But in any case, It was a hard pick, I enjoy all these characters but the one with the plane and the one with peach/luigi where the best in my opinion. I noticed there was a small quarrel over the character revelation, The creators are revealing the characters fittingly. actually I think they might be going a bit to fast. The game comes out next summer! Let's leave the entertaining surprises for that time. Am I correct in saying this? What do YOU think?

I personally enjoy Nintendo and it's gaming style, I mean this site is called Nintendolife isn't it? In order to be here we all must have some positive feelings toward nintendo, right? In order for that to happen we all have to enjoy the games and gaming consoles of nintendo to some extent. With that said, how is it that there are some who question our anger at these comments against the handheld systems? I have been a fan of Handhelds all the way back to the GameBoy Color, while in comparison to cells and tablets I have never really appreciated them that much as far as gaming goes. I mean, i enjoyed occasionally playing those "quick hits"(like Temple Run, Angry Birds) but I'd only play them for a week and be done with them, also I would only play up to 10 min at a time. With Nintendo's handheld I can play games for months and still enjoy them and 1 or 2 hours at a time! In all honesty phones/tablets and gaming handhelds should not be compared.

After all I don't think this guy has any right to use irrelevant in gaming. Not because he is the creator of the atari from way back when so much, but because he is not as involved with gaming as he used to. Perhaps he still picks up a game every now and then, I wouldn't know. But I have trust in the people running Nintendo that they are doing the best thing for the customers, the company, for everyone.

Hmmm... I have only two conclusion for why nintendo would ever do such a
thing as this...

So basically the first one is:
they made it terrible on purpose. It needs to be really bad for their plan to work. At the end of a certain time period, lets say 6 months, they compare the sales to that of the 3ds at it's 6 month-after-release time. Now if the 2ds is selling at a close enough rate to the 3ds they will start making all their gaming consoles terrible because they are getting the same sales. however if the 2ds is failing tragically then they know to keep the quality of their gaming consoles high. In other words it's a test. Also the reason they had to make it flat was because it has a memory storage unit at the middle which is there because the camera on the front is constantly watching you recording what you do as part of the test. once the 3ds has wireless connection it sends all the information to a secret observation center owned by nintendo.

reason number 2 is quite simple:
Nintendo is running low on new ideas. The company feels they are not capable of improving their gaming experience much more so what they do is simple, send out a really terrible game console so people will be like "NO! nintendo is losing it's edge!" but secretly they've been designing a new console that is actually an improvement. this way people will be more content with the real new counsel because in contrast to the 3ds it is far better.

Of course, both of these are completely logical explanations but it's hard to say which one it is... What do you think?

I agree mostly, Gaming SHOULD be taken seriously but saying that videogames are not about fun is probably one of the most false statements I've ever heard...

From all the comments I've seen so far there are 3 major opinions. the first actually wants reggie to be a playable character, they really like him and would love to see him in the game. the second is in the middle, they sort of think it would be cool bu then again maybe not... and the third just flat out does not want reggie in the game, he is a real person and it would ruin the game.

What is the solution you ask? simple, there will be a choice in the options saying Reggie mode: on or off. I would personally choose off. I'm with the flat out no reggie group, but in order to please everyone just have a setting, after all no one wants to spend extra money on some downloadable content characters when they already bought the game.

That K.I. stage looks pretty boss, In all honesty I think it is a bad move to release all this information a whole year before the game is released. won't people lose interest? As of now I reallllllyyyy want to get this game but in like 3 months i'm just going to reallyy want this game...(less "L"s and "Y"s in second adjective incase you didn't get that) haha I didn't know how else to explain that...

That is why I only master veteran characters because I do not have enough money to get both games let alone both systems so I mastered mario, link, pikachu, and marth. That way I have options and variability.

When it came out I decided to get it, it was only 5$ and since I knew mega man is going to be in Super Smash Bros. for 3ds I wanted to see what his original game looked like. I don't mind the graphics at all. The old pixilated look is actually pretty cool. The thing I'm still getting used to is the actual game play. I have been playing Super Mario Bros., Super Smash Bros., Wario Land, and other platform games but even the very old versions of them are nowhere near the same as Mega Man 6 controls. After a while you do get used to it but anyone who has not played mega man games before, be prepared for some strange feeling controls.
Other then that the game is great, there are some great challenges in there and it is only 5$!
