@Totaldude911 just having a longer cable so that you could use another third party stand would be the solution.

Not being able to charge the switch and mount it in an upright position to play seems like an oversight. The USBc to USB c cable should be longer so that you could at least sit your switch on a stand and play it while charging

id be more likely to get this if it had a multiplayer mode, there isnt really a realistic online fps on switch so that would be good. EDIT: just read the description and it says it does have multiplayer so probs give this a go

I love playing this on switch, but been really struggling to get online games for months now Hopefully this will bring people back

@Old-Red I agree, i love the switch, but ive mainly been playing last years releases on switch. tis years been pretty disappointing for me and im not into smash. looking forward to warframe.

@JasonLee99 in uk the digital version is 70 pounds, same as retail version, i just typed that into google and 70 pounds would apparently be 90 dollars. whereas 60 dollars (price of digital version in US) is 46 pounds in the uk. so u are getting the digital version for half the price versus the uk price. absolutely crazy.

I've been looking forward to this since last year, it's my most anticipated game of the year for switch as I'm luke warm about smash bros and pokemon looks oookay.

@Zuljaras i develop little games as a hobby and have wondered about the process of publishing for a while. is that 800 dollars for a license to publish on switch for 12 months?

I've never quite understood the appeal of this. But the switch has been my window into game types I'd never usually play, case in point, I'm currently enjoying xenoblade chronicles 2 and I never thought I would. So I might give this a go

I wish PS4 would do cross play and save cos I'd definitely double dip if that was the case, as it stands I'll be getting the switch version, awesome news

I actually think that this looks great. I'd love it if it had a survival mode where u hunt for supplies and craft your hive.

@GoldenGamer88 they get all that cash from cosmetics, and give you the game for free, so I'm not sure why youre so against it.

@Agramonte i was still being bolstered by all the great stuff from last year, doom, skyrim, splatoon2 , mario , mk8 etc. all great but ive milked them dry. fortnite and paladins should keep me busy for a bit. ys8 looks interesting so might have a go at that.

@Agramonte i can see your point but i wanted more pvp shooters on the switch and this ones great. 25 quid to get it early has been worth it for me because there have been very few games that ive wanted on switch in 2018 so far.

i got this and fortnite at the same time , ive been playing more paladins. its great on the switch docked and undocked, and for me its been worth the 25 quid. Gameplays really smooth and the shooting mechanics are good fun.

@DizzyDee81 yeah Im getting all 3. Doom and splatoon are good shooters on switch also. I'll be getting morphies law when it comes out too.

@Fake-E-Lee I wanted to support the developer, as I think what they have done as indy developers is great but I don't expect it to be better than fortnite and paladins, we will see though. It's got more modes than fortnite and paladins, and more shooters on switch is a good thing.

@DeRezzie Yeah I might pick it up, I actually like the idea of the character unlock progression so kinda wish i could buy it and still unlock the characters slowly. If fortnite gets announced and its free to play ill probably just play that until paladins is free. also i backed crazy justice so should be playing that sometime soon. im certainly happy that were getting a whole bunch of shooters and paladins is defo on my most anticipated list.

@DeRezzie how do you feel about paying for it even though itll be free later in the summer? im curious because ive been waiting for more FPS games on switch but it feels a bit cynical of them to only offer the paid version at the moment?

i really like the fact that this is coming to switch, but , given that its free to play on other platforms, and will be free to play on switch later in the summer, is anyone actually gonna spend 25 quid to play it now, instead of just waiting until it is free to play?

Im loving the fact that were gonna get fortnite, paladins, crazy justice, eventually morphies law, theres been a serious lack of multiplayer shooters so far (although i love splatoon and doom) so adding this variety will be great.

@electrolite77 I'd really like to see more aaa third party support, I know that sounds obvious but the likes of diablo and a 3ds upgrade of monster hunter really aren't gonna cut it for me. Some fallout and doom 2 action / or some kind of far cry assassins creed would be good, even if they are ports of older games

@admwllms ive only been playing 2017 games on switch this year, theres been nothing to appeal to me so far so i hope they come out swinging at E3. I especially like to see some big third party stuff, even ports of old far cry or assassins creed games, or some announcements of new shooters like doom 2 for switch.

@Prizm me too, although after playing the demo im pretty excited about it. I know what you mean though, nintendo really has rolled out the b team in the first half of this year...

Id love to see this on switch but i find it highly unlikely that it would be. considering fallout 4 runs terribly in places on a ps4 in some areas. i can hope anyway !

i really hope crazy justice gets released before this is announced. Theyve been doing some really cool stuff and id like to see a small indy team get some love before fortnite blows them out of the battle royal water

After the first year I’m pretty underwhelmed with this years offering. Mario tennis will probably be the first 2018 switch game that Ill buy. Considered dk but its way over priced for a port of a side scroller. I’m hoping they have a bunch of first and third party stuff to show at e3, Wolfenstein should be good though.

@astrofan1993 Ive played loads of splatoon 2, but didnt have a wii u. Are we as players not octolings?

Ive used a Huawai USBC phone charger with mine for the last six months and its been fine. I guess its at our own risk if we are using other chargers etc.

@NewAdvent Just need Hori to do an officially licensed one. they are releasing a charging dock with usb input that looks great, it astounds me that they haven't made a version of it that also connects to the tv.

@JoeyJoeJoe Yeah that is a perfectly good option but i dont want to go to the effort, if theyve got a team messing around designing cardboard cutouts im sure they could knock out a few different dock designs

@AlbertXi I really want nintendo to design a smaller more portable dock for thirty quid or something, i dont wanna spend over 60 quid on another standard one. They're so keen on accessories and peripherals for the system, its crazy that they haven't done this yet.
