Like I said a few weeks ago, Launch system at high price, wait half a year and deny a price cut, lower price to what you actually want the console sold at, everyone thinks its amazingly cheap now, fly off shelves, I actually learned more about this yesterday in ap psych I forget the technical term already but you oversell something where you know itll be denied then go to the actual point to make it sound better, and it is a know buisness tactic, while im not saying nintendo's doing this it is a tactic some companies use.

Id be upset if they released a new animal crossing in four years already, If anything I'd want it to be the same game for wii u and allow the data to be transfferable like monster hunter, and have cross platform online, that would be awesome

I know ps and xbox all have the same games (except first party exclusives) while the nintendo's have 1st party exclusives and unique third party titles, thats why I have a ps3 and wii and not a ps3 and xbox, I get more fun and unique games with this kind of combition of consoles

I thought wii U had more 3rd party than wii already? We already had call of duty, and now were getting assasins creed and watch dogs, maybe im missing something if so please point it out, and I feel he's right, its mainly software, the only reason why we didnt get some games for wii U is because developers werent sure whether itd be a good bet to release borderlands and bioshock, they werent willing to risk it because theyd have to be developing for it before wii U came out

I know my friend came over yesterday and he saw the graphics,impressed by that, saw how much fun Lego city was, and then when I was playing need for speed and switched it to gamepad only, he was in shock. He didn't even know it had off tv play, every time he comes over he's more and more impressed by it, but he wants a ps4 first because he's always been more Sony, when the new Zelda comes out that's when I'd assume he'll get it

Well of course it wont look as nice as it does on ps4 and whatnot, I was more worried about developers not supporting because it cant run it

On vacation left all my retail wii U games at home so im playing monster hunter wii U/3DS, lego city undercover, finished it yesterday, now im going around collecting all the other objectives, and luigis mansion

@mwellert ya my friend was so close to getting a wii U but then he decided to wait and see for ps4 he probably won't get one untill a game that interest him, like Zelda

Ya the fact that only like 3 games come out a week makes it stand out more and easier to find than something on the app store which has so many apps constantly being added

They need to find a way to market it with the fact that wii remotes are still used a lot without people thinking its an attachment for the wii

I only retail purchase games i collect, so currently im on the fence about animal crossing new leaf

They have that flyer on gamestop's website under wii U section, and I feel like if youre at pax east you should know the difference

I love the co driver multiplayer My little sisters always my co driver which she enjoys because she cant drive very well and with co driver she can still be involved

The game isn't unplayable without the circle pad pro it has the monster lock on so that solves that issue my friend plays it without the CPP and I haven't heard him complain once

Seriously at least the second screen adds useful things like inventory management freeing up the top screen from cluttered maps and whatnot

Will they have qr codes? I know thats an option when adding it

Ya i cancelled my pre order and decided to just download it

I can honsetly say None of my friends will be able to tell so if those are wii u screenshots i think the wii U will be fine this generation

He said on twitter it depends on the sales, so if enough people buy it it'll get DLC, and yeah I thought I read recently too that we were already confirmed for DLC

I would download this but my interenets so slow it'd take 3 days to download, id love to be able to download a game in 5 hours, just start it at midnight if its a midnight release and then its ready when you wake up, Soon im getting faster internet, but not till later this month

Woo Wii U's next gen! And isn't the graphics better than xbox and whatnot? its nowhere near as good as ps4 and next gen but its not current gen, if i remember correctly.

Downloaded my copy of it, my first fire emblem game besides the ambassador one which I never played till now, it's a really awesome game series! I've talked my friends into getting it too

it totally is! its the corner of the console, Too many cool 3ds' I want an xl but i like my legend of zelda one too much

2 bucks seems like a reasonable price for me, and it's not for a full on Pokemon game so I think it's fine for this game

Just start off a console launch and make it way overpriced, then price drop it to the actual price you want a half a year later, people think its 100x cheaper and will make everyone happy, as long as you don't mind selling a Ton for the first half a year

Nice I was expecting you guys to give it a 7, I like it a lot, pretty much no limits on sandbox

^ this, When I told my friend I was getting this for wii U he was shocked it was going to be able to be played on it, The only difference really is graphics and how many people are on the screen at once, which doesn't matter since you can really only interact with a couple of people at a time

Excited for ps4 but not 100% on board their social thing, Probably get this on wii u unless theres big features for ps4

ya I dont get why they keep saying, With better graphics youll get a more fun game, Didnt agree with that, and ya more ram means more people on screen at once, which really doesnt matter to me because you can only really interact with one at a time

@SteveW it'd work like the 3ds sky landers, where it reads it and stores the memory on the console temporarily and you can take the character off the portal while playing

I think it's always the same with any consoles, First year=fanboys, etc, 2nd year it seems to become more public and people start realizing the difference (or the lack of games for the previous generation)

Huh looks like I'm going to pick up Arkhangelsk city armored edition, was on the fence but I don't want to be two games behind

All I can say is these games were in development before the wii U dev kit came out so there's gonna be a gap of some 3rd party games, they'll come around next year

They're not leaving the platform, they're just too far into development to make a wii U version, They said they want to develop for wii U they just can't right now with this game, they didn't say we're abandoning this platform all together

Wait till Lego city undercover comes out, and the kids ask if its available for ps3 and they're told its only for Wii U, Then theyll bug their parents till they get a Wii U, Im not saying Lego citys only for kids, All my high school friends and I think its sick thats its Lego GTA, but it also appeals to kids a lot too

Ya the Launch is slow, it is for all consoles really, Well see things start t pick up in march with the release of some big games starting then

Ya the 6-10 year old category for Wii U is weak, kinda kids don't care about shovel ware, and there's a good chunk, Id rather Wii U be advertised as a hardcore machine, there's a bigger age range for that category, therefore more people, therefore more money, Skylanders series is more than just 6-10 year olds, whenever I go into game stop there's at least one adult buying a new figure or two

Never take it back to the store........ nintendo coulda transferred everything over, they should either advertise that if its broken in any way send it to Nintendo, or give the distributors acsess to transferring the data, cause dang that sucks, Isnt nintendo planning on changing this later on down the road?

I hope ubisoft keeps the zombiu franchise on wii u, either way though, we would have the superior version

Love sonic adventure series, my favorite sonic games ever! And ya Chao gardens should be on this new one too
