Re: Former Nintendo Marketing Specialist Sheds Light on Smash Bros. as a "Dangerous" Brand at EVO

Araknie

Yes, even though i recognize EVO is a specific event, not every watcher was a Nintendo fan, i think the majority was other consoles fans, so since you get a characters in Smash only if it's from a series there a whole legacy to protect.

Maybe who comments on this side can't see that because he know almost every franchise.

I admit that before Melee i didn't know Game & Watch and before Brawl i didn't know Pikmin, and that could lead to many misleading self-given answers that can do damage.

Also, looking at what kind of, for example, Pikmin theme and songs and all you got in Brawl i though was a child's dream or something silly.

Only when they demonstrated Pikmin 3 at E3 2012 i finally realized that it was some serious shat. Only thanks to that i now own and play Pikmin 3 right now.

Re: Nintendo's $30.2 Million 3DS Patent Infringement Fine Halved

Araknie

@McHaggis But i never wanted to be competent, i'm not paid to be so it's only common that it will be my opinion and i want to joke out the situation i will do.

If i want to say the thing seriously i will do it.

But i know that i'm just a commoner, i just found stupid that because of this we cannot accept that people in the world can come up with the same idea at the same time.

I think that's one of the reasons slowing down this whole planet, so i will simply never agree on that, law or not.

Re: Yakuza 1 & 2 HD Reportedly Sells Less Than 2000 Copies in Debut Week

Araknie

Eh, almost all japanese gamers have the original games already, it's only common that would go like this.
They should have released it worldwide, because that would be really smashing since in europe and america much more people don't know this title.

If it's a common gamer household in Japan it's a niche title in the West so obiously the West was the right market were to release this game from the start since there are much more sales possibility.

I know SEGA doesen't really aim for sales with this, but they seemed to have forgot how to market a game, really. Especially with a port like this.

Wrong market because they don't miss Yakuza copies in their houses in Japan.

With that "testing the responses" i only can hope that this was developing test for the Wii U for a Yakuza 5 or a new Yakuza whatever is called on the Wii U, it's true that in December 2012 Sony broke the exclusivity contract with SEGA for the series so anything can happen now.

Re: Nintendo's $30.2 Million 3DS Patent Infringement Fine Halved

Araknie

@McHaggis So, don't respond to me next time, because if the post a news i will write what i think of it if i think of it.

Not gonna change my mind on this ever, i always though that technology is, in so many forms, complementary and so can come out from various people even if they don't know shat about the other person.

How do you prove that Nintendo has infringed it's patent? They found the original creators schemes in Nintendo's HQ or something to prove it in the Nintendo schemes, becuase it needs to be 100% the same to be a patent infringment or something similar.

"intrinsically excessive… and unsupported by the evidence presented at trial." does not sound like 100%

Also i didn't hear squat from the 2008 mass market of HDTVs but sure they were copying each other a lot.

Anyway...how can you think my post was serious when i didn't even address one of the things you say it's beyond me.

Yes i said Virtual Boy without putting it in any statement, what that proves? Nothing, because i didn't want to make a serious post.

Now you made me do one.

Re: Feature: Some Early Miiverse Favourites From Art Academy: SketchPad

Araknie

@Einherjar Yes, because it's a new kind of resistive all made for stylus technology, of course if you use fingers it's worse but that's why Nintendo provided with it a stylus.

That's all.

But there's also actually people lazy enough that they complain about taking out the stylus because it requires 3 seconds of their time...

Mmmmmm, not sure if the world is imploding or my mind losing brain cells.

Re: GameStop Defends Xenoblade Chronicles Pricing, Plans More "Vintage Titles" Like Metroid Prime Trilogy

Araknie

Vintage?
Are they stupid or what?

Even if was SMB1 Nintendo always has renovated license for everygame thanks to Virtual Console.

Any Nintendo game they print will start a legal action.

As i said in the other Game"must"Stop argument, they need to close or do something againts their monopoly.

This is the same kind of crap that made Banks go down, monopoly is a big deal.

Re: GameStop Accused of Re-Printing Xenoblade Chronicles, Then Selling as "Used" For $90

Araknie

Close that corporate market, i always hated gamestop and never used it.
If they are doing by law they should close in a month, simple as that.

This or we start doing private stores, they are some that are in trouble financially but others who have the finance to start one in good conditions don't even do it because gamestop overflows everywere.

If you give a company monopoly it's only common that they will feel like doing what the want.

I REPEAT, THIS IS ILLEGAL!

Re: Masahiro Sakurai Outlines the Challenges of Smash Bros. Development

Araknie

"Sakurai-san has often spoken about the demands of his work, but this gives some further insight into roster building and Smash Bros. development. Let us know what you think of these comments below."

NO! This was an heartfelt demand to be quiet for a little bit about the game, just look at some comments here, don't ditch a serious reflession (for once) like that.

I'm disappointed by NL, it had a perfect start and at the end you just like said "who cares? we want the game!" no...

Re: Iwata: Getting The Attention Of Gamers Is Harder Than Ever

Araknie

For me seems like everything was indirectly put in the hand of gamers, making them think that Intellectual Properties are them and them only and everything that a developers does has to do it to please them, and not for personal achievement.

If we don't let developers do their job and achieve what they want, it's only obvious that the more they will try to please the more we will cringe.

When nobody said shat about a thing and opinions where just opinion, not absolute declarations of love/war, developers did games because they wanted to see a thing they had in their mind.

Now this is reduced to the indie market because we (aka the internet) talk to death about really everything.

Many times it's simply too much, how many days in a row can you repeat to the same person your perfect roster for SSB4, to make an example, what's the use of repeating over and over and over and over the same things in every forum in the world?

If i even try to say that they said that either i'm butthurt or i don't get sarcasm or some other crap. I've not your opinion and i'm sick of listening to the same joke, if i'm lucky enough to get joke just by reading it with no clue...

Many things are stupid in gaming communities, this ones surely can be amongst them.

Re: Even Miyamoto Struggles To Bring All His Pikmin Home Safely

Araknie

Day 12 here, lost a total of 126 Pikmins, the replay the day feature has saved me so many times.
And i like how things you do remain in the same place forever and the enemies don't regenerate for 2 days, that's a good help.

But some areas seem like impossibile to reach even with the right type and amound of Pikmins. Gonna take a while to be this game.

And freaking finally i should say, Classic Nintendo game here folks!

Re: Pikmin 3 Almost Had Four Heroes And Could Have Appeared On Handhelds

Araknie

Playing it, totally hardcore.
You play, you get and objective to do and nobody will tell you how to do it.
Classic Nintendo game for me already.

Also the gamepad alone feels great when you master the controls, the KopPad is really a strategic tool and pausing the game to work around the map, or what you discovered so far, gives you time to plan the next move perfectly.

That's important because there's a pretty nice time limit and it's so necessary if you ever want to avoid frustration to plan your moves every time you find someplace new.
