Mario Kart Tour is an excellent game. I’m a Day 1 player and have played it every day since launch.

But every new Tour update brings the same old whiny complaining about Mario Kart 8DX not getting anything.

It’s simple…play Mario Kart Tour.

Guys. You do know this is just a miniaturisation of the Sharp TV SF-1?? A television set made by Sharp with a built in Super Famicom, released in Japan in 1990.

It’s not true. It doesn’t say that on Vs. Super Mario Bros. It correctly says “Peach from Bowser”.

I’ve loaded it up and I’m looking directly at it now!!

@Anti-Matter There are hundreds of games on mobile that get removed or discontinued. Mostly the same reason. They aren’t successful enough or the developer stops paying their App Store fees, which is usually down to money.

But that doesn’t mean that people should never play games on mobile, simply cos there’s a chance of discontinuation.

I’m simply correcting the subtitle that said Apple doesn’t make any games of their own. They do, just one, but it’s available on the App Store.

Come on @NintendoLife a little bit of research will show that Apple HAVE made their own game and currently have it available on the App Store.

@Marios-love-child Yes, me!! I play it every day. And I’ve played it every day since launch. And you know what? It’s the best Mario Kart game. It’s true. But a lot of people can’t get over the controls and gacha elements. Once it clicks, this game is absolutely incredible!

@Mando44646 Yeah the game has Gacha mechanics. Is it gambling? That’s up for discussion. The game is available to play in many places where gambling is illegal. And available to download by under 18’s.

Regardless, the game is good! Very good in fact. And I’m very happy with the on-going support that Nintendo give the game.

Me personally, I’m a serious Tour Weekly Rankings player, aiming for the top slots every week.

@Mando44646 You say relegates to a gambling simulator. It isn’t. Read my post above. I’ve played Tour every day for 2 years and I’m happy to celebrate the anniversary.

The reason why Nintendo is celebrating the anniversary is because there are plenty of people around the world playing Tour and happily enjoying the game. Myself included.

It might not deliver the Mario Kart that you want. But don’t underestimate Tour, or conveniently ignore the thousands of people around the world who play it regularly.

You also have no idea how happy Nintendo are at Mario Kart Tour's performance. This celebration indicates that Nintendo are quite pleased with how things are going for them.

@RasandeRose I don’t think you realise just how powerful the Apple A14 Bionic & A15 Bionic are. The Switch processor & GPU from 2015/2016 (released in the Switch in 2017) don’t stand a chance against the brand new Apple SOC from September 2021.

Yup, I said it. It’s true. I’ve played Tour since day one launch and played it EVERY DAY since. Can you think of one game that you’ve played every day for 2 years??

Pac-Man 99 runs on the Nintendoware ‘Bezel Engine’. Also used for Tetris 99, Super Mario 35, Brain Training and Clubhouse Games.

Vroom in the Night Sky uses it too.

King Bob-omb is a playable character in Mario Kart Tour. Nintendo have used him recently in a game..

If you want to see all the potential characters that Nintendo could use for this new Mario Golf...simply fire up the brilliant Mario Kart Tour and have a look at all the characters.

Because Mario Kart Tour is utterly brilliant. Probably my favourite mobile phone game ever. Such a class game with amazing attention to detail and fantastic gameplay.

The Combo System single handedly changes everything about Mario Kart.

I’ve played it every day since launch in September 2019. The game deserves all the attention that Nintendo lavish on it.

Currently...this will NOT be easily hackable.

The USB port on the side seems to be JUST FOR CHARGING.

It will require you opening the unit and using a cheap programmer to flash it.

Let me tell you...

...this game is FANTASTIC!!!

Honestly. I've played it from September, daily, right up until today. A really, fun game with so many tracks and characters. If you played it at launch and dropped it, try it again and you'll be surprised just how much content the game has...and the content switches up every two weeks.

Come on NintendoLife, why didn’t you mention this in the article? Bandai Namco have developed and produced 4 arcade Mario Kart games including Mario Kart VR.

If you want this in Digital form then you can get it from the iBook store on Apple devices for £20.99.
