One of our favourite console peripherals is the Joytech GameCube screen, a little attachable screen for the little box-shaped console that turned it into a portable console of sorts. Lots of mods for other consoles have been inspired by this little add-on, but today, we have something extra dinky that combines a screen with a very little console.
Twitter user @limonegongbang is known for creating custom Super Nintendo kits, having created the Super Famicom kit 'ChoFamitsuku DIY kit'. Now the hobbyist and Nintendo fan has gone a step further and created something called an SF-1 Mini, which is a tiny little Super Famicom built into an equally tiny little TV.

This irresistible miniature machine comes with a 5.5-inch LCD screen, RGB output, stereo sound, and even has a USB-C port for easy, accessible modern-day power. The Super Famicom cartridges go in a little slot at the top of the TV, and there are two controller ports just under the screen. it's the perfect mix of modern convenience and retro feel.
limonegongbang has shared the entire creation process on their YouTube channel, which also shows the whole system working with an appropriate choice of games — Super Mario All-Stars version of Super Mario Bros. 3, Secret of Mana, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars!
You can watch the whole video below to see just how limonegongbang puts the DIY kit together and just how it works, and the video has complete English subs as well!
Please tell us you're as in love with this as we are! (And thanks Fully Illustrated for retweeting this and bringing it to our attention!)

Very nice way to save space!
NINJA APPROVED
I have a CRT that’s almost that small in width/height, not length tho
Cool idea for on the go gaming if you still value those RGB playback on a monitor.
That's so cool. I still use my mini tv with built in VHS player.
Guys. You do know this is just a miniaturisation of the Sharp TV SF-1?? A television set made by Sharp with a built in Super Famicom, released in Japan in 1990.

Sometimes I wish NintendoLife had journalists that knew their Nintendo history. 😕
Me: proud of myself if I can replace a fuse.
This Guy: makes miniature working game consoles by hand in his spare time.
It is strange being able to see backlight from the LCD on a screen that is designed to resemble a CRT. I wonder if they make small OLED screens, I think that would look really good
this is really awesome. however he has a severe crack on his screen!! what a bummer!!!
