For this game, by NintendoLife Rating Standards. It is indeed worthy of a 5/10 by their definition. It can be a good game but it has to truly be one for you.
However, while you may take my review with a grain of salt, allow me to share my perspectives on said game. (I'm gonna try to drop the long version and just summarize it plain and simple)
In my opinion compared to the previous games (Transformers - Autobots / Decepticons). It takes several steps backwards.
Gone is the Free Roam Open Worlds and Customizable Vehicle Modes, in its place is a wide range of Equipment and Weapons you can find throughout the levels, which is compelling enough I suppose. The collectible Energon is used to upgrade stats.
You mainly play as the Autobot you meet at the beginning of the game. Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Sideswipe are only used for side-filler missions (Ironhide and Ratchet are unplayable T^T). Some missions are entertaining while some are bare-bones.
The story for this adaptation of Revenge of the Fallen isn't done any favors whatsoever, its honestly lazy and worse than the movie. Especially when the only reason we learn of what the Decepticons are doing is because they tell bits and pieces of their plans in the boss fight.
The boss fights are laughable, as it is the same repeated process / strategy over and over again. I kid you not when I say the final boss (Megatron) was not hard to beat.
I managed to beat this game in a matter of hours.
I personally reccomend this game only to Die-Hard Transformer Fans, Fans who just want some Transformer Action (Which it can decently provide), or even just for Collecting Sake. However, if you ask me how the Decepticon version is different; from what I hear, its not any different. It just has a different coat of paint.
This is one of the many Transformers Games I would love to direct a remake for DS, so it can be done justice. That is, if it the opportunity were to ever arise
... I may regret this but. I've begun to reconsider giving this game a chance, it just feels too interesting to pass up. Plus without a PlayStation 3 (I know I can get an Xbox 360 too, but I prefer PlayStation), this is the only game I could get to really try out the "War for Cybertron" series. At the very least, I will purchase it for the right price.
Not gonna lie, I find it saddening how EXTREMELY bad this game is... Upon opening it up the first time in years, I was given NO tutorials on the controls or what to do. You're just thrown into the gameplay and are expected to figure things out.
There's no real plot to the game whatsoever. There is legitimately no direction to the game, you explore until you find the goal point. The Marker Man's jumps are laughable (To the point I could barely jump over an enemy without getting hurt) Controls are a little out of wack. When I drew the shapes, it just wouldn't work 70% of the time because ya had to be precise with the drawing. No real creativity behind the gameplay, which is a downright shame as with a drawing based game there would be limitless possibilities. There's NO way to attack or defeat the enemies that walk around the level, you're just a defenseless stick man... The game apparently had POWER UPs I had no clue about, which turns out thats what the Marker collectibles were for. I don't think this game even has a checkpoint system whatsoever. You die, you start over completely. The level design is.... meh.... The music is relaxing but will get repetitive after a while The sound effects are Ok at best but otherwise are not at all impressive...
The only person I'd recommend this game to is someone who likes art and is just looking for a game. Otherwise, save your money...
@zap-switch No kidding, not to mention Switch Sports is missing some of the magic from the Wii Sports series. Being focus on Miis, the Themes, even the UIs
To be honest as of this comment. I've got mixed feelings on its announcement. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Pokemon there's no denying that. But this feels WAY too soon, it was announced only a month AFTER Legends Arceus released. It looks promising but because of the lacking Sword and Shield, its made me more aware than ever and now? Its gonna a lot to get me on board with this. I seriously hope GameFreak delivers
All things considered, its a pretty good Mario Kart Game for the 3DS. At first my major disappointment was the seemingly lack of characters, but once I figured out you can unlock them by completeing the cups in 150cc, my 8/10 score for this game is now kept. Do I think they could've added a tad bit more? Yes, but for what its worth, its good!
I'm thinking of getting this game... but this time on the 3DS. (No joke, by the time of this comment I have DS Copies of this game. I'd prefer the LEGO Star Wars The Complete Saga DS Copy if anything, and I wanna get that for the Wii)
This honestly upsets me and it is something I have yet to understand. It makes no sense to me.
Once this happens we're talking (give or take) 1,440 EShop Exclusives murdered. This isn't even counting DLCs or any other additional content that may be available.
As someone who still plays on their 3DS and even Wii U this hurts people like us the most, especially if there are games we legitimately want that are EShop Exclusives or can only get on EShop (DLC and Older Games such a N64, Gameboy, Wii, Etc.).
I want to make the best out of my Wii U but if they go through with this, I can only get so much until they decided to screw us over.....
I don't get why they don't simply just remove the Classic Games they want to preserve and remove ANY and ALL Retail games from the shop! Where the only things downloadable are EShop Exclusives, Demos, DLC, and Older Classic Games that AREN'T on the Switches list.....
Worse thing about this whole thing is that nothing can be done about it.....
While I do agree the Nintendo Switch Menu needs some more Nintendo Magic, not sure if should be in THAT particular way! But what I do like is that going into someone's profile info showcases their Mii! That'd be a dope addition =D

It's no secret to me that this game as an assortment of flaws, and many ways that could be improved, especially if a 3rd Installment of this game is made. However, all things considered. You will still find fun and enjoy in playing these games, and it has a bunch of great but poorly executed concepts.
The sheer spectical of this installment is breathing taking and just overall awesome. You could tell Sakurai put his heart and soul into making this game, the Pros EASILY outwiegh whatever Cons this game has. It is called Super Smash Bros "Ultimate" for a reason.
I at first downloaded the Lite Version because why not, and I started to enjoy it. So although I had it for Ps4, I decided to get the full version to enjoy the full experience. Its nice to have it on the go, that's just one of the many great features of the Nintendo Switch =D
It's always nice to have a game to just relax to, or you're just simply bored. Though I only wish there more customization options regarding skins. I'd totally make or implement my own Mii Skin if I could.
I don't think this game is bad at all, its kind of addictive and one of those games you'd just wanna chill out with. I consider it to be my version of Animal Crossing but with Pokemon. However... I do think this game could use some more expanded upon and just overall features to make it a pretty nice game. Doesn't have to be anything massive, just enough for it to fufill the kind of game it is.
Some of the gripes I have with it is that Training apparently kicks the Pokemon involved out of your camp which I don't get, just makes me feel like a jerk to those Pokemon, Its a little testy on the grinding aspect if you're just looking to raise your Pokemon Levels at the moment, I do wish there were more Pokemon to befriend but thats just me, there's like no real recipe book on how to make more or new stews/soups/whatever, and trying to befriend the Pokemon you'd like is a bit difficult. Other than that, I don't consider this to be a bad game.
While it is not a bad game In my personal opinion it could use a lot of improved/expanded upon game mechanics and features to help it be more engaging, this is supposed to be the closest to Pokemon IRL. The main problem I see within this game is that after a while, it gets old. I even have a google doc on the improvements I would make if I could. Some features that could be improved/expanded upon are Combat Power Levels, Side Quests, Features for when you join a Team, Battling, New Battling Mechanics, and so on. But its not a bad game, just could use a little more features to help it.
Nothing really much worth saying here. Just a App/Program that allows you to store in and transfer Pokemon from other games, heck it even links up with Pokemon GO. So that's handy. The one this has over Pokemon Bank is that the first box doesn't cost money to store Pokemon which is massive relief... but you still gotta buy access to other boxes and.... well I'm not sure on that chief
The one main thing the Wii U Version has over the 3DS Version is the superior graphics. The Wii U Version comes with its own Pros and Cons, as there are more (and arguably) better stages, especially with Battlefield, You can create your own stages like in Smash Bros Brawl, has rather fun mini-games, even a board like game featuring your Miis. Heck you can even battle on the Wii U through your 3DS. Aside from not having my personal favorite features such as Smash Run from 3DS, this game should have the same amount of fun you may find on the 3DS Version.
A MASSIVE improvement to the first PokePark game and I am all for it. New Areas to Explore, Unova Region Pokemon to befriend, New Features and Challenges, The Story is pretty good, and you even get to choose whether or not you wanna play Pikachu, Oshawott, Snivy, or Tepig (Albeit you will be required to switch into one of them to progress). Each with their own advantages. And unlike the first PokePark, there is MUCH more to do after you beat the game.
However, PokePark 2 is not perfect. My gripes with it is there only being 4 new attractions compared to the first Pokepark which is kind of a let down, and at first glance its mainly focused around Unova Region Pokemon, and some Pokemon unfortuantely do not make a return to PokePark 2 (R.I.P Infernape T^T). But if you loved the first PokePark game, you won't be disappointed with this one.
This is just my opinion.
When I first rented this game especially as a kid. I absolutely loved it and I wanted to get the game and I was happy when I did.
Even to this day I love PokePark. Sure, don't get me wrong, its not a perfect game, as after beating it there's not much else to do unless you wanna befriend the hidden legendaries you can unlock via codes, the story could use SMALL tweaks to at least make it convincing for its concepts (Since it appeals to children), and just more to do.
But if you can look past its flaws, from exploring the PokePark and the Areas, befriending particular Pokemon through fun skill games, the engaging story, and ESPECIALLY the attractions make it a great game and one to be adored.
I DO NOT regret buying this on my Wii U
To be honest, Super Mario Galaxy is probably my most favorite set of Mario Games. Super Mario Galaxy 2 already improves and expands upon the features in the previous titles thus making it all the more better. With new power ups, new stages, new characters, heck you get to play as Luigi and ride on the back of Yoshi. The only small gripe/nit-pick I have so far is that those secret stars you may find in other stages don't matter all that much until the ending point of the game, in which you have to go back and find them. Other than that, a great Mario Game to have, and can play with a friend to help on the journey.
A MASSIVE improvement to the Wii Sports title and an absolute MUST HAVE for your Wii/Wii U. The games are expanded upon to which they have different modes, there's technically a freaking open-map exploration, some games make a return or even replaced with better versions (Such as : Bowling, Golf, Swordplay, Table Tennis, Etc.) Each game has its own range of challenges for you to take on and acquire achievements. It especially a good game if you're playing with friends.
Now sure, the game is not perfect as unless you really invest the time, the gameplay can get a bit old, especially if you're doing it alone, and there's not much else to do. But if you loved the previous Wii Sports game, you will love this one. Absolutely a must have.
Not gonna lie, what sold me on getting this game was the inclusion of Miis in it.
Now unfortunately it still has the same trope of going through linear levels and beating up Pokemon and potentially catching them if you get lucky. Some features cost the use of PokeDiamonds which can be a pain if it is not the retail version, Hot-Air Balloons having a cooldown timer in which limits to how much time you can play the game, Not sure how good the story is but it is definitely meant to be appealing for the children (Which I'd say is doing pretty ok with), Some of the challenges are bit too tough if you don't have the right Combat Power or Pokemon, There's no way to increase a Pokemon's CP so you're still ditching your old ones for stronger ones, etc.
And to be perfectly honest? It sadly gets old after a while.
However, if you enjoyed the previous Pokemon Rumble Games, or just looking for a relaxing game to do on the side, you will find fun and enjoyment through the amount of Pokemon to collect, the Customization for your Miis, The friends you can meet and can visit you, and ESPECIALLY the addition to Mega Evolution.
Absolutely a must have if you're just getting the Wii and are in need of particular games. While it may not seem like much, the Sports, the Miis, heck even the music and training Mini-Games are so much fun, especially with friends.
This game was the first time I've ever even heard of Punch-Out. My parents tended to get me games I have 0 knowledge of, and looking back I could actually be greatful for that. But when I got to playing this game I was hooked. At first it was a bit strange because I had trouble with Hippo because I didn't know I could punch the opponent's face. So tutorial could've used some work. Other than that small nitpick the game is fun, has its own challenges, and even awards you during matches when thinking outside the box such as Countering your opponents attacks to earn Stars. Which in turn allows you to do a Star Punch. My brothers watched me play this game for hours and watch me put in the work to defeat my opponents. If you're thinking about getting this game, you won't be disappointed
Compared to Sonic and the Secret Rings, I would say this game has done massive improvements over its similar play style in my opinion. Already it was a smart move to include Wii Remote and Nunchuck. I also think the Story is great. The multiplayer mode is pretty dope with its assortment of mini-games, though it could be better.
However, its got its own problems as you still have to do particular Side Quests in order to progress (Not saying thats bad, some are necessary for the story, but some not so much), the Sword combat while appreciated slows you down as opposed to being able to slash through enemies with relative ease (This ESPECIALLY shows when you play as Lancelot, Gawain, and Percival. Percival being the worst of the bunch, I couldn't even get past her darned level so I had to switch to Sonic), some levels are legitimately too difficult for their own good, and so on.
But in my personal opinion if you get behind its flaws, its a pretty good Sonic Game.
Probably least favorite compared to the PS3/360 Versions. The levels arent nearly as developed, and the beginning can be a tad bit tedious. The main complaints I have over this version of game is the unnecessary challenges you HAVE to take in order to progress and how many Werehog stages there are compared to Normal Sonic Stages. I found myself blitzing through the Normal Sonic stages and then go back to Werehog for a good 10 minutes give or take. However, despite the flaws in this game compared to its PS3/360 Versions, you can still find enjoyment in the game.
An absolutely cherished installment to the Smash Series, and playing this as a kid when unlocking Sonic the freaking Hedgehog?? How could I not play and love this game? While I'm sure it has its ups and downs. Everything from the new Smash Roster, Building your own Stages, Story Mode, Smash Challenges, etc. Just make the game so darn good.
While the game might not be perfect (Such as them not including the Battle Frontier which was just a massive troll). It is everything fans would want out of a remaster/remake of an old Pokemon Title. An improved story, A dope Delta Emerald Episode featuring the 3rd main Pokmeon of the Hoenn Region : Rayquaza, Inclusion of Gen 6 Features such as New Forms of Mega Evolution, and more. These games were the first time I actually journied across the Hoenn Region.
I was awe struck to hear that Super Smash Bros was now coming to your own 3DS, so you knew I had to get this game. Although I would not get the Wii U version for a long time, this game was very much enjoyable even without the story mode. While I do like the sort of Board Game style the Wii U has, I also enjoy the Smash Run where it puts you in a big map and you go around destroying enemies to gain stats. I also had a kick (pun unintended) inserting my Miis into the fray, it was just so enjoyable. Although the 3DS and Wii U versions would have its Pros and Cons, and advantages over one another. I would say this was a good installment to the Smash Series
Although the story may have lacked in certain and important parts. I have much appreciations and respect for the game and am a littled bumbed out we didn't get "Pokemon Z", more so Kalos' spot light was very short lived. Sure one might not call this a perfect game but it is most certainly worth your while. The Kalos Region and its Pokemon is wonderful, and it introduced a brand new amazing feature in the form of Mega Evolution. Though it may lack general features, post-game content, and story elements, I would personally say this game is worth your time.
While part of me was slightly turned away when it had separate characters of Base Goku and Super Saiyan Goku, not to mention the very limited characters to choose from.
It was a very fun and interesting experience, and I especially liked and engaged with its own story mode, which was its own take/continuation of Dragon Ball GT if I am not mistaken. I did find it a bit difficult in terms of the gameplay, not necessarily because of the difficulty, but more so learning the controls and particular aspects as for me I was just kinda thrown into the gameplay style having to figure everything out for myself.
Overall I'd say the game is pretty good.
While that darn Giant Robot was too darn difficult to defeat at first, and the lack of Open World unlike in the Console Versions of the Game. You gotta admire the similarities it has to said Console Versions, so playing this alternative take you could say on the Amazing Spider-Man story was pretty darn dope, and I found it satisfying when it came to the close quarters combat aspect of the game.
This was one of the first 3DS Pokemon Games I had got once I recieved my 3DS and I gotta say, as basic as the gameplay is. It can actually be pretty fun. While I'm not totally sold on the "Pokemon Toys" aspect, and the story could use a bit of tweaks here and there. Its definitely a fun experience and has its own challenges. I'd only recommend this game to those who are just looking for a pleasant experience and easy going play style (And more so just to have fun, as it can be found here).
This has got to be one of the best Pokemon Games of its time, and gave Sinnoh the respect it deserved if it didn't already. All from the improved story, new features (I.E Ball Capsules, Distortion World, New Forms, Battle Frontier, Villa, Etc.), expanded PokeDex, and more. It is honestly hard to say whats bad about the game. If you're looking to try out Gen 4, this is the game to do it. To this day my best Save File is on Platinum
Although my Pokemon journey had officially began in the Kanto Region via Pokemon Leaf Green Version. It was these games that got me interested in it to begin with, and I'm glad it was the Sinnoh Region that I started. I will always be a Sinnohian with my partner Infernape.
I've had this game for years now and despite the struggles I have and when I get bored, I still love it and find fun playing this. Even be inspired by people playing it to this day.
Granted, I do admit it has flaws, some even crucial. I can even think of ideas to improve it if I could. But if you enjoy battles like these? You're in for a particular experience, especially post-game.
However, I do recommend before getting this game you have either Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, or SoulSilver and have beaten that game, then transfer your Pokemon onto the game.

In my personal opinion it could use a lot of improved/expanded upon game mechanics and features to help it be more engaging, this is supposed to be the closest to Pokemon IRL.
Re: Pokémon HOME
Nothing really much worth saying here.
Just a App/Program that allows you to store in and transfer Pokemon from other games, heck it even links up with Pokemon GO. So that's handy.
The one this has over Pokemon Bank is that the first box doesn't cost money to store Pokemon which is massive relief... but you still gotta buy access to other boxes and.... well I'm not sure on that chief
Re: Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
Re: PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond
Re: PokéPark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure
Re: Super Mario Galaxy 2
To be honest, Super Mario Galaxy is probably my most favorite set of Mario Games. Super Mario Galaxy 2 already improves and expands upon the features in the previous titles thus making it all the more better. With new power ups, new stages, new characters, heck you get to play as Luigi and ride on the back of Yoshi.
The only small gripe/nit-pick I have so far is that those secret stars you may find in other stages don't matter all that much until the ending point of the game, in which you have to go back and find them.
Other than that, a great Mario Game to have, and can play with a friend to help on the journey.
Re: Wii Sports Resort
A MASSIVE improvement to the Wii Sports title and an absolute MUST HAVE for your Wii/Wii U.
The games are expanded upon to which they have different modes, there's technically a freaking open-map exploration, some games make a return or even replaced with better versions (Such as : Bowling, Golf, Swordplay, Table Tennis, Etc.)
Each game has its own range of challenges for you to take on and acquire achievements.
Re: Pokémon Rumble World
Not gonna lie, what sold me on getting this game was the inclusion of Miis in it.
Re: Wii Sports
Absolutely a must have if you're just getting the Wii and are in need of particular games. While it may not seem like much, the Sports, the Miis, heck even the music and training Mini-Games are so much fun, especially with friends.
Re: Punch-Out!!
Re: Sonic and the Black Knight
Re: Sonic Unleashed
Probably least favorite compared to the PS3/360 Versions. The levels arent nearly as developed, and the beginning can be a tad bit tedious.
The main complaints I have over this version of game is the unnecessary challenges you HAVE to take in order to progress and how many Werehog stages there are compared to Normal Sonic Stages. I found myself blitzing through the Normal Sonic stages and then go back to Werehog for a good 10 minutes give or take.
However, despite the flaws in this game compared to its PS3/360 Versions, you can still find enjoyment in the game.
Re: Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Re: Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire
While the game might not be perfect (Such as them not including the Battle Frontier which was just a massive troll). It is everything fans would want out of a remaster/remake of an old Pokemon Title.
An improved story, A dope Delta Emerald Episode featuring the 3rd main Pokmeon of the Hoenn Region : Rayquaza, Inclusion of Gen 6 Features such as New Forms of Mega Evolution, and more. These games were the first time I actually journied across the Hoenn Region.
Re: Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS
Re: Pokémon X & Y
Although the story may have lacked in certain and important parts. I have much appreciations and respect for the game and am a littled bumbed out we didn't get "Pokemon Z", more so Kalos' spot light was very short lived.
Sure one might not call this a perfect game but it is most certainly worth your while. The Kalos Region and its Pokemon is wonderful, and it introduced a brand new amazing feature in the form of Mega Evolution.
Though it may lack general features, post-game content, and story elements, I would personally say this game is worth your time.
Re: Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden
Re: The Amazing Spider-Man
While that darn Giant Robot was too darn difficult to defeat at first, and the lack of Open World unlike in the Console Versions of the Game.
You gotta admire the similarities it has to said Console Versions, so playing this alternative take you could say on the Amazing Spider-Man story was pretty darn dope, and I found it satisfying when it came to the close quarters combat aspect of the game.
Re: Pokémon Rumble Blast
This was one of the first 3DS Pokemon Games I had got once I recieved my 3DS and I gotta say, as basic as the gameplay is. It can actually be pretty fun.
While I'm not totally sold on the "Pokemon Toys" aspect, and the story could use a bit of tweaks here and there. Its definitely a fun experience and has its own challenges.
I'd only recommend this game to those who are just looking for a pleasant experience and easy going play style (And more so just to have fun, as it can be found here).
Re: Pokémon Platinum
This has got to be one of the best Pokemon Games of its time, and gave Sinnoh the respect it deserved if it didn't already. All from the improved story, new features (I.E Ball Capsules, Distortion World, New Forms, Battle Frontier, Villa, Etc.), expanded PokeDex, and more. It is honestly hard to say whats bad about the game. If you're looking to try out Gen 4, this is the game to do it.
To this day my best Save File is on Platinum
Re: Pokémon Diamond & Pearl
Although my Pokemon journey had officially began in the Kanto Region via Pokemon Leaf Green Version. It was these games that got me interested in it to begin with, and I'm glad it was the Sinnoh Region that I started. I will always be a Sinnohian with my partner Infernape.
Re: Pokémon Battle Revolution
I've had this game for years now and despite the struggles I have and when I get bored, I still love it and find fun playing this. Even be inspired by people playing it to this day.
Granted, I do admit it has flaws, some even crucial. I can even think of ideas to improve it if I could. But if you enjoy battles like these? You're in for a particular experience, especially post-game.
However, I do recommend before getting this game you have either Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, or SoulSilver and have beaten that game, then transfer your Pokemon onto the game.
