I agree with you. I love the open world but it didn't feel like a Zelda game to me either.

I will admit the trailer was interesting and I was interested but I will need more info before getting. Now if they add dungeons, a unique story, it will be day one purchase and I will even accept weapon breaking.

This is a good deal Nintendo. Now throw me a free switch and I will be set. Just kidding but this deal have games I gotta have.

I am glad it returning to the first gameplay because the mission base gameplay was a tough pill to swallow. This game can't come soon enough. Of course I need a switch now. Nintendo is selling me on switch now.

I agree with you. Investors are ridiculous with the whining and complaining. I can handle the delay because it gonna to be phenomenal when it arrive.

I can say that I'm not at all surprise by this news. I knew it was on it final leg when Kirby Extra Epic Yarn in March. My last games I brought for my 3ds was Yokai Watch 3 and Etrian Odyssey Nexus.

I also saw it ending and brought a bunch of 3ds games and eshop ones, so I agree with people that I still got some years left to plow through backlog.

It is now time though to give the 3ds a proper send-off and let the switch take up the mantle. I need to buy a switch and 2019 have a ton I will be getting gamewise but until I do, my 3ds will still have love. A lot of the 3ds games I play the developers have already move on to switch. Etrian Odyssey, Level-5, mario, zelda, pokemon and others. The signs were there.

Thank Aaron! That the plan. I know 3ds is nearing the end but i still love it! Still got a backlog of games to play.

I am actually impress. Saw the trailer and im in love with this game. Love zelda games, never play crypt of necrodancer but i was hook with the trailer. Definitely a must buy!

I love my 3ds and i hate that it twilight is coming. I have a backlog of games myself that will keep me busy. This kirby is not my favorite but i still think it shoulda have a switch copy as well.
I rang in the 2019 knowing this was probably the 3ds final year. My last purchase was yokai watch 3. I too felt the direct not having a 3ds game was alarming. I see the signs that the 3ds is ending. The games i normally play on my 3ds have move on-mario, zelda, professor layton, etrian odyssey, fire emblem, dragon quest, pokemon. Most of these drew me into the 3ds. So i will hold on to hope that 1-3 games will be unveil later this year. But if not i will say you have a good run 3ds, you won't be forgotten. I still will play ya cuz i got games to play lol.

I would buy a switch outright if this came to switch. Heck, i would be happy with a collection pack of devil may cry 1-4. I play the first three extensively on ps2. The first one i was even beginning to replay on hard which was massively hard because you needed a whole new strategy.
So if this came to switch I would be sold. Even my love of my 3ds while i do love ya pal, you can't take that part that belong to devil may cry.
However, this won't happen because there just offering a bone hoping we will take the bait. This doggie however won't bite.

I still stand by my opinion. If Nintendo plan this for switch only to get dlc then they shouldn't have release both a switch and 3ds versions. If one get dlc then all should get it. So i can understand 3ds users getting ignored. It not a good feeling and many of us pay money for 3ds version with some inkling of getting bonus content.
Also im not ready to give up my 3ds until Nintendo either create a successor or a mini switch that can allow you to play 3ds games. I have 80+ games at around 400-500 dollars. I'm not just gonna toss it away. Also im one that will not bring a switch outta of the house to get stolen or wreck. 300 dollars is not easy to replace.

I think Nintendo is wrong not to release the dlc alongside the 3ds. I mean they are the one who release both a switch and 3ds versions last June. So it doesn't make sense to add it to one version and not the other.
Also I'm a champion for the 3ds and always will but I found it hilarious how many people are quick to condemn the 3ds since the switch came out. I mean it serve no purpose. So you move on to the switch, big deal that great. But there are still those that love the 3ds still, me included. Of course I love all of the Nintendo consoles and still play them. I don't just abandoned them when a new system come out.

So thrilled with the trailer. So much excitement and new places to explore! Definitely can't wait to create my own cat nyan.
Also the one version thing is like the icing on the cake. Absolutely loving it!
Still some uncertain questions. Are all the sushi and tempura yokai available to befriend? Will we get dream medal yokai and all the different lord enma?

I agree that these items should be in the switch version. I haven't play pocket camp but i see all the new themes or planting and it make me green with envy. Nintendo better have them incorporated.

@Turbo857: A switch mini could work if done properly. I don't think there would be any problem reading text or moving around in game. It would be HD. Plus i would prefer to have the mini for the kiddie rather than a 300 dollar switch. If they don't create a mini then they need to either 1.] create a slot for 3ds games or 2.] allow some way to transfer game data on the 3ds to the switch. I invested alot of money on my 3ds and games.

I did get her a used 2ds xl. She wasn't given a brand new one, only a used hand me down system. Try giving her a case and she ended up using it for her toy not her system. It been a learning experience but i know she ain't ready for a switch yet. Maybe a couple years from now.

I voted for the switch mini because it would be a perfect thing to move people from the 3ds. Also better for kids. I know people let kids play the switch now but i have a six yrs old neice. I let her play the 3ds at 5. In a year and a half we went through 5 3ds due to her dropping it, using a pen instead of a stylus, throwing it when mad. With the switch at 300 dollars and the screen not durable, im not taking the chance. Now a switch mini i would test her out on. This is my opinion.
For improvements i would like the cable option to hook the switch without a dock. Also maybe a bag or cover to use when playing on tv. Don't like the dock that out now. Definitely better battery life, more durable and scratch resistant screen. The internal storage does need more storage. Finally i agree with people add youtube, netflix, and maybe internet browser.

Mine been pre-order. Play the gc version but sadly never finish. What i play though was fun as heck. I am glad i got this on 3ds because i sure miss it.
It will definitely hold me until etrian odyssey nexus 3ds and yokai watch 3 come out in Feb. Then it Yoshi Crafted World.

I am so hyped. I have brought yokai plushies from yokai watch 3 so i could be ready. I am ready for it! Definitely pre-ordering.
My neice and I have watch the tv show and we have watch Abdallah videos[mainly she have]. We buy the plushies, toys, etc.
My only question is are we getting sushi and tempura with sukiyaki coming later or as update? Or is this releasing with all versions in one.

I think with all the reveals we have enough to excite us until the game is out. I personally want some stuff to be secret so it will be that must better when the hidden characters or dlc come out.

I love this idea very much. I love the first Baten Kaitos but never got around to 2nd one. This was a game i play countless hours playing creating new items through merging cards and grinding for weapons card.
There also were some beautiful landscapes, some of which i went back to just because it was that beautiful. Love the Confectionary Village for Starter. Mizulti was that character who irritate you to no end but who grows on you with time.
There definitely need to bring first two game in HD on switch and also create a third one. I love this game and still have original strategy guide to look at and keep memories alive. Monolith and Bandai Namco, release this game please, please!

Almost cancel this pre-order until i saw tabletop. That not a problem since i have a stand ready to be use. Just gotta get use to the joy-con detach. Feel funny in my hand. Can't wait til Oct. 5.
