A Nintendo Switch can easily be your best friend if you have to hop on one of those aeroplanes people use to travel long distances through the air, as we're no doubt so many of you reading already know first-hand. But what if you don't own one? How are you supposed to enjoy the benefits of playing DOOM at 33,000 feet on a 7W beast of a console?

Nintendo and Southwest seem to have an answer to that, and it's little more than just handing them out to people along with a copy of Super Mario Maker 2 for absolutely nothing, although admittedly people received their consoles after the flight had landed, slightly taking the edge off the magic. Having said that we certainly wouldn't grumble if we were handed a $300 bit of kit, regardless of whether it was during or after a commercial flight.

Suffice to say this is all no doubt to drum up publicity and is not going to be a mainstay of Southwest flights for years to come. Well, it worked, because look at us talking about it here, and you reading it. It's all a rich tapestry.

What would you do if a multi-billion dollar airline offered you a Nintendo console that you may already own? Explain to us it all in great detail through the medium of that lovely comments section.
