When it comes to premium collectible Nintendo-themed statues, First 4 Figures has often provided some of the most memorable releases. Its latest product is sure to excite Samus fans, as it's opened pre-orders for the Master Arts Metroid Prime 2 Light Suit.
This is from the excellent Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, of course, and will come in two variations. First of all we have the standard model, which stands at 20 inches tall, comes with a $20 deposit and has an overall cost of $339.99 — only 2500 will be made. The exclusive model is largely the same, but with an important distinction of LEDs that light up, as you can see in the images above and below; it has a $20 deposit and total price of $364.99, with only 750 pieces to be made. An order of either model will come with "deluxe full color packaging, hand numbered base, and includes an authenticity card which allows you to purchase the same number of the model next in the Metroid Master Arts series". That's right, this will be a whole new series.
As always with these First 4 Figures statues, they're a gorgeous but expensive acquisition. We may be limited to looking at the pictures, but hit up the links above to see the respective product pages — at the time of writing the exclusive model's description is incorrectly on the standard model's page, for reference. They're due to ship in Q1 2015.

Jesus Christ that's amazing. If only I had a spare $364.
I wish I was rich. As cool as that looks I wouldn't have room in my home for it anyways. Stuff like this is long lost for me At my age. Maybe 20 years ago. Still this looks awesome and if only I could!
Damnit just release a new metroid primealready nintendo! Stop teasing us with these brilliant figures! Metroid prime trilogy hd remaster while you're at it!

But I guess I'll stick with amiibo Samus. A little more affordable;)
For that money, I would rather get some DX Chogokin Macrosses or the Metal Build Gundam Exia. Sorry but that price point is just only for people with cash flowing out of their pockets.
I wish I could have one of this. It looks awesome! But I have other priorities and it's expensive
Anyway, Metroid-themed 3DS will make me buy one bundled with a new 2D Metroid game. Pretty please, Nintendo?

Amazing! I wish I had the money to get this. Prime 2 is one of my favorite games and the light suit is awesome.

That's a sweet looking figure. And of course it happens to be a figure of one of my favorite suits. Will probably never buy it, but it still looks really good.

Considering Echoes is my favorite game ever... this is very tempting. I have enough spare money set aside, but that would completely deplete my WiiU games fund. Not quite worth it... I'd rather have Smash U, Zelda, Splatoon, Yoshi's Wooly World, Starfox, etc.
Now, if they make my favorite (Dark Suit), this could be another story...

Great looking figure, but too rich for my blood. Also, the Dark Suit rocks so much harder than the Light Suit.
Honestly, I'm much more enticed by the Samus figma, which looks fantastic, is way more affordable and is fully poseable.
Just ordered the LED one. With the flex pay it made it "affordable." If nothing else I will be able to resell it.
