Metroid Prime 2: Echoes was developed by Retro Studios and released on GameCube in 2004. It was also part of 2009's Metroid Prime Trilogy for Wii. Rumours persist of a potential Metroid Prime 2 Switch remaster following the release of Metroid Prime Remastered, although there have been no official announcements from Nintendo.

Is Metroid Prime 2: Echoes Coming To Switch?
There has been no official announcement regarding a 'Metroid Prime 2: Echoes Remastered' for Nintendo Switch.
However, even before the release of Metroid Prime Remastered in February 2023, there were long-standing rumours that Nintendo had remastered the entire Metroid Prime Trilogy ahead of the release of Metroid Prime 4, and was waiting to release the remaining two Metroid Prime Remasters of the Prime trilogy at a later date.
So, while it's possible that Metroid Prime 2 will be remastered for Switch, there is no official news with regards to a Prime 2 Switch port at the time of writing.
