Commander Video returns in BIT.TRIP FATE

Gaijin Games let the first detail of its upcoming BIT.TRIP title slip last week with the revelation it'll be playable with the Wii Zapper, but a new Nintendo press release has confirmed the name as BIT.TRIP FATE with a release date pencilled in for this Fall.

The press release also gives vague "holiday season" release dates for Super Meat Boy and the much-anticipated Shantae: Risky's Revenge, suggesting it may be a long wait until the genie is released from her bottle again. There's Need For Speed Nitro-X heading to DSiWare on September 20th though, which might tide you over a while longer.

If you're into your old-fashioned physical retail copies, Wii owners can pick up Wii Party from October 3rd, Kirby's Epic Yarn on October 17th, Flingsmash on November 7th and Donkey Kong Country Returns on November 21st, with GoldenEye and Sonic Colours on the way in November.

DS fans need not be glum, with Professor Layton and the Unwound Future out on September 12th, Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs on October 4th, Art Academy on October 25th and the latest battle between man and monkey, Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem!, released on November 14th.
