I can play periscope mode no problem in 3D with Steel Diver so bring it on!

Bad music and sluggish gameplay, but it does look fun! Hopefully if I have a job I can get it sometime this fall/winter when it is bound to be around the $20 mark!

Having owned the game since last Thursday (when I went to Toysrus for the buy 1 get 1 50% off deal) I have played about 10 hours of this. The visuals are the best thing this game has going for it. The music isn't too shabby, and the 3D effect is nice! The main factor is though that the gameplay feels shallow. The patterns in the enemies attack are very easy to see. Heck the final boss had a pattern of 3 or 4 attacks that was simple to discover on my first go. I've cleared the game as 8 of the 20 dinosaurs, and I plan to finish it with all of them eventually. Since I got it for half off I feel that fits the price more, but even then it feels like it should be $15. A 4/10 is the exact score I gave on the backloggery (2/5=4/10)! It is a good game, but the gameplay is very shallow. There are much better launch titles to pick up (like SSFIV3D, Steel Diver, Pilotwings, etc.). Of the 12 3DS games I have this is my least favorite unfortunately. I love dinosaurs also.

Also something seems wrong with the following sentence in the review:

These items can be traded with a friend locally and new ones can be plucked as if out of thin air through StreetPass if you and your stranger designate the same family of dinosaur for the ether.

Should that last word not be other instead of ether?

Seriously though I love Retro Studios based on the fact Metroid Prime 1 & 2 are some of my favorite games of all time. Not to mention Donkey Kong Country Returns is probably in my top 10 Wii games! Bring on Donkey Kong 64 Returns!

The game looks great, but I'll remain skeptical at this point! Somehow using the Wiimote as a chain/whip doesn't seem like it would work out.... Maybe it's just because I relate that weapon to Castlevania too much!

Wii: Zelda, Xenoblade, The Last Story, Pandora's Tower, and anything they announce at E3 (Pikmin 3)

As for The Last Story (the point of this articles) I can't wait for it! I saw gameplay for it a while back, and I knew it would be a day 1 purchase if it ever came to NA! I guess it is, and it is still a day 1 purchase!

This is officially a must buy for me! It was on my list before, but this bumps it up the list! This summer is going to be great for the 3DS!

Cave Story 3D, Ocarina of Time, Devil Survivor, and Pac-Man & Galaga Dimensions all in June? Not to mention Resident Evil Mercenaries is due out in NA in June or July, I hear! April is going to be a slow month for 3DS (catching up on launch games), but once May hits with Dead or Alive: Dimensions and the eShop my wallet will take a hit!

I am greatly enjoying this game! The lack of multiplayer is a tad disappointing, but it isn't like I would of had anyone to play with either. >.> So far based on the first four missions I've played I would give it an 8/10. I've never seen the animated series (save for the movie in the theater), but I do not mind one bit! The 3D is nice in my opinion at times. I switch from 3D to no 3D every now and then! I will say though have the 3D on at Mission 4's start!

@WaveBoy I have Bust-A-Move Universe, and I must say in my opinion it has some of the best 3D of the games I've played! It isn't so much depth (none really ), but the stuff that pops off the screen that stuns me! This is my first Bust-A-Move game, and I love it! somewhere between a 7.5-8.5 is what I would give it! Not entirely sure!

Sadly no where around here (save Walmart) will be open at midnight. We have two Gamestops here, but the one I preordered at is not getting the 9AM opening like the other one. Although when I talked to them last week they said check back, and they may be able to pull a few strings. Honestly I'm not switching to the other store because even if mine doesn't open early I wouldn't mind avoiding "some" of the crowd.

I am so putting an AR card on my computer, hooking it up to my 42'' TV, and having Samus eliminate space pirates from my room!

I was always curious about this so at Best Buy one time I tried out a 3D TV they were demoing and I had no problems. My mother did not either! I wish I could say the same for my younger brother. He has one eye screwed up (and has glasses) so I think he was being serious when he said he didn't notice any difference. I'm just curious....wouldn't it appear blurry or something to him, or would it really appear like a 2D image? Either that or he just can't tell the difference. O_o

As I see more of this I want it more! I may just have to preorder this! Although....that will make it my 6th 3DS game preordered at launch...

Sweet! I'm down for the 3DS version probably then. I think its weird that I may be picking 3DS version of games over console versions, but oh well! I've always been more of a handheld guy anyways!

I for one am actually happy for this. I'm just about done paying for the 12 games I preordered till the end of this year.....X_X 3DS can wait till next year since I'll be busy until then. Next year is going to start with LittleBigPlanet 2, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, and Nintendo 3DS!

3DS at PAX and now this....man can't any of these events come to South Dakota. The closest thing I get is some Pokemon thing at the Mall of America 3-4 hours away! XD

So if I preorder it I get two posters.....hmm I wasn't going to get this till Christmas, but maybe I'll preorder it now. I did find extra money to pay off Gran Turismo 5: Collector's Edition and The Sly Collection so who knows. I already paid off Kirby: Epic Yarn so maybe a game at the beginning of the month couldn't hurt!

I was going to preorder this on Saturday, but when I went to Gamestop they said they never heard of this. They looked in their system and said there was a Wii version that came out a long time ago, and dropped to $30. How is this supposed to sell well if no one at Gamestop even knew about it.... Guess I'll pick up both retail versions up sometime next month.

I'm still torn over pre-ordering this giving the fact that I got the first one, but never go into it really. The pre-order gift this time while cool it's kind of lame at the same time since you don't get to pick your color. Oh well cool wallpaper, but it won't change my Metroid: Other M one! Maybe I'll pick this up down the road when there aren't so many games coming out.

I'm getting the bundle even though I already have the controller from the Monster Hunter Tri bundle. Too bad this is not $60 like the Monster Hunter Tri bundle was.

The site says the NA release date is October 5th! Sound like a good date since I hope most of the other games I want like Zelda Wii and Golden Sun DS won't come out until November/December.

Less then 24 hours! Hopefully Walmart will let me have a copy at midnight just like they did with New Super Mario Bros. Wii! Also good review...all these 10/10s....could it eventually tie Ocarina of Time on Metacritic? Hmmm....

I haven't won yet, but maybe tomorrow will be my lucky day!
