Side Quests are back in Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom, and there's an abundance of them.

Multiple NPCs have various tasks that they want Link to complete as he's exploring Hyrule. And you can get some nice rewards out of them. Side Quests are separate from Side Adventures and Shrine Quests.

What is a Side Quest?

A Side Quest is exactly what it sounds like — a smaller quest off the side of the main adventure. These are different from Side Adventures as they often don't have any narrative stakes or involve key characters.

It's worth doing these quests, however, as you'll get rewards in the form of money, items, and sometimes some extremely good armour.

How many Side Quests are there?

There are 139 Side Quests in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and if you're aiming for 100%, you'll need to complete every single one of them.
