Download Swords and Soldiers, Bit Trip Beat, or Mega Man 9, and you will understand. Or wait for Cave Story; whatever you prefer.
Mega Man 9 is cool, but I'm not really interested in the others. The upcoming TMNT 4 remake should be kick ass though. I mostly resent WiiWare because it's being lavished with attention at the expense of Virtual Console.
Also, someone correct me if I'm wrong here, but the reason we haven't yet seen Star Fox or Yoshi's Island is because they're having trouble emulating the Super FX chip, correct? Why is it someone can make an emulator on their basement PC that can successfully emulate these games, but Nintendo, who has billions of dollars at their disposle, cannot? That's just pathetic.
That is pure speculation as far as I know. Nintendo has never said, "Hey guys, we're having trouble figuring out how to run the Super FX chip, even though we had no problem with it many years ago." They're just saving them for later, I would assume.
I understand the frustration with WW Vs. VC. I think they should have released more VC games before WW came out so that VC users would have been more satisfied and they could focus more on WW without it being at VC's expense. But unfortunately, I do not run Nintendo.
if you look at how many 3rd party games are actualy available for each plstform, you would soon realise hoe under represented that they are. the majority of games were either devoleped or published by the first party companies. the only two 3rd party companies to have more than 10 games on the VC are namco (5 of which are on VC arcade) and capcom (4 of them being the various versions os street fighter 2). it seems to me that the 5 companies with consoles on the VC are taking every advantage to squeeze as much money out of their old games as possible. if you don`t beleive me, check for yourselves. were nearly the 300 mark for available games on the VC and there`s around 50 that are split between 3rd party games, which is a little bit dissapointing, because it just seems that there is still so many games that could be released to the VC. to be fair though, considering the shelf life of most consoles are around 5/6 years, we`re only half way through with the wii, so i`m hoping the tide will change, and more 3rd party companies will see their games get the VC go ahead. for now, we`ll just have to continue waiting patiently for the games to arrive.

The Wii & the VC are bound to last for quite a while, at least another 3-4 years. Even if the Wii only lasts 5-6 years before retiring, VC & Wiiware would probably be in the next nintendo system & with no games omitted in the download service of the next ninty system.
What's wrong with the VC? Receiving every title we never really asked for. Example: Super Earth Defense Force (Hmmmm.... I wonder why Nintendo didn't announce this title beforehand?) lol

↑ (Should have been Super Adventure Island 2.)
Hey, I know at least one real life person who waited a long time for Super Earth Defense Force to be released on VC! And then there are many shmup freaks who buy every new shmup that comes out on VC, not to mention the collectors who buy every SNES-VC game.
I like Earth Defense Force and am glad that we got it instead of another platformer. Besides, at least we're getting games. You can wait for the game you want, so long as it's guaranteed to come out, can't you? It's not like before where we'd go weeks and weeks without new games.
There already are better choices. Go play those games while you wait for the games you do want.
I was actually asking for additional opinions on such matter. I never said the VC is trash @Kid_Crono. I would just like to wait less time for fillers to take up space, if you know what I mean? I have downloaded more VC titles than WiiWare.
