I wonder when it comes out in Europe Seriously, I haven't touched the PC version for 1 and a half years just not to spoil the game for me on the Wii
Won't the new version have multiple endings? I thought there was but I could be wrong.
AFAIK the PC version had 3 endings (my brother played through it and told me, so I know) I only played the game until egg corridor and I was pretty impressed

Hopefully it won't be more than 1000, for the same reasons as vakama and cheetahman. But I'm gonna buy it at any price, so it doesn't matter that much.
i'm expecting it to be 1000 points or below. if microsoft could put a full 1080p update of perfect dark out for $10, i think nintnedo can easily put a 16-bit update for cave story out at the same price.

it's funny, after so much anticipation over the game it'll be out in just a few days and yet discussion of it has nearly come to a standstill. i guess complaining that it wasn't out yet was all that motivated people to post.
Yeah, no spoilers! I wonder how long it will be before the European release...I guess I've got enough other stuff to play first so I can wait until then.

That was a poorly written review, and he didn't give any reasons for the low(er) score. I'm still psyched for this game, I've been holding out on the free PC version for a while now. Can't wait to play it Monday!
there's nothing wrong with the game. i think it's a masterpiece up there with any great sidescroller. however, i have noticed a trend among gaming sites to lower classic game grades over time, something i absolutely don't understand. i guess the attitude is "this is good... for an outdated game". no matter how good it is, some people will always look at 2D (and some early 3D) games as a thing of the past and grade them with apathy. that ign review smacks of that a little to me... how else could the soundtrack not get 10/10?!
It might have been a poorly done review, but I can't fault his score since I haven't played it (however lowering the score because of the fact that you can play it free opens up a new issue with value in their ratings, which they obviously didn't do with their review of Deadly Premonition (a NEW $20 xbox360 game).
