It was recently revealed that Scalebound won't be at E3.
Could that somehow relate to this? MS didn't want two Platinum-games at E3 so they pushed one back to gamescom?
If that were the case, I think Scalebound would be what they show at E3, unless there is nothing to show of it but that seems unlikely. I think Scalebound isn't very high priority for MS.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

it's almost impossible it's a microsoft game , because if it was their , the game play video will be show inside their conference in the same day ,not one day after they will not waste their moment when the hype of the xbox fan will be very high , same for sony , so the probability is a nintendo game is very high (but obvious it's not 100% sure )
Wouldn't that same logic apply to Nintendo? As in if it was a Nintendo game, it would've been included in their Digital Event.
Things not included in Nintendo's Digital Event last year:
-Devil's Third
-Mario Party 10
-Anything 3DS that wasn't Pokemon or Smash Bros
-Pacman in Smash
-Codename STEAM
Fair enough, but that still doesn't guarantee a Wii U exclusive, because it might as well be a PS4 game that isn't included in the Sony conference then.
Since the game isn't being revealed on Tuesday after all, I'm not as confident it'll be a Wii U title. I was thinking they would pull a Devil's Third, and have IGN reveal it right after the Nintendo Digital Event.
If I had to bet, I'd say it'll be a XBO/PS4 multiplatform release, but I hope I'm wrong.

Who said its not being revealed on Tuesday????? And even if it isnt... That still doesn't stop that Bayonetta 2 developer retweeting Nintendo's E3 plans literally moments after it became known Platinum Games has a new game for E3. I think this will be revealed just like Devil's Third.
I own a Wii U and 3DS. I also own a PS4!

It was confirmed earlier today that it's being revealed by Youtube on Monday, but IGN will show gameplay footage for the first time on tuesday.

So, unless it's a simultaneous reveal from IGN I doubt it's a Nintendo thing. Probably a 3rd party publisher that doesn't have a press conference and has been acting overly willfully, like Konami and Metal Gear Rising.
It's probably MGR: 2 or Vanquish 2. Maybe that Bayonetta 2 producer retweeted Nintendo's E3 plans shortly after it became known Platinum Games was announcing a game because he still wanted to support Nintendo in some way.

-Devil's Third, Nintendo Published, first shown by IGN during E3
Not that I'm saying it's definitely Nintendo or that what happened last year will be repeated this year. Platinum have a decent history with all of the big three and have had their games published by a variety of publishers. Of their ten games they've had a pretty even split between Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft overall. So it could be anything really. I'm just just saying that I wouldn't rule anything out especially not things that did indeed happen last year.
Yeah now this news of it being revealed by Youtube live a day earlier slims the chances of a Wii U exclusive. Definately a bummer, but I'd definately not write it off just yet. But now i'm leaning more towards it being multiplatform title and if it is a multiplatform game I doubt it will see a Wii U release specially if it's a mature title. But if it is an exclusive than Wii U/3DS have high chances. Since Xbox have theirs in Scalebound and about Playstation I very much doubt Sony in this case. Has to be a Nintendo exclusive or a multiplatform title.

C'mon, Nintendo knows a Platinum game is more direct-worthy than devil's third. I mean really, they couldn't afford not to throw that in. I very much doubt it's Nintendo related.

All I'm saying is that last year the "IGN exclusives" were from a variety of sources. One of them was a Nintendo published game. And also at last year's E3 Nintendo did indeed spread their announcements across the whole period. That worked well for them so I'd assume they'd be expanding on that. They're not stuck in the "big conference" model anymore. And lets not ignore the fact that Platinum have had a good relationship with Nintendo over the last few years. It is indeed possible that they could be working on another Nintendo published game.
That said I am going to assume that it isn't coming to the Wii U whatever it is. I'll even go further than that and just assume that it's exclusive to a platform that I don't own. So not Wii U, PC or 3DS. Purely because E3 is far more enjoyable when you set your expectations low.
Well, if it's not Nintendo it's probably Revengance, because that's the best selling Platinum game for utterly abominable reasons. So that'll be 3x crossplatform as usual.
Y'know, the guy behind Devil's Third is behind games that are on average more popular than Platinum's games, so I'm not sure how that works. And Mario Party is also more popular than a good chunk of games.
I think it's abundantly clear that they want to spread out hype for their E3 stuff. So I don't think popularity is the sole reason why a game would or wouldn't be in the Digital Event (though most of Nintendo notable titles will obviously be there).
Yeah, Platinum has a ton of geek cred, but that's about as far as their brand recognition goes. The people who love and live by Platinum's games are the dorkiest of dorks who are going to be watching E3 and the IGN stuff and this and that and another thing. They keep informed.
Metal Gear Rising was a really good game, but it didn't sell well because it's a really good game. It sold well because it has two of everyone's favorite three words in its title. Platinum has never really succeeded in turning one of their own, original IPs into a big hit.
That said, I still think it's either MGR2 or Vanquish 2. New Wii U IP = unlikely. Bayo 3 = doubtful. W102 = no f'ing way.
So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.
Platinum games always sold really bad (although thats completely dependant on income/cost) Revengeance sold great because it was Metal Gear, use the same stuff on another game and it would have sold less than half.
In terms of brand Bayonetta is their biggest IP, but i dont think Bayo3 its coming anytime soon
