Yes, but quality also has to factor into that. What great exclusives did 360 have that weren't Halo, Gears, or timed? That, my friend, is a much shorter list.
Undoubtedly true, but games like Halo, Gears, and Forza are kind of a big deal. Those three series alone are among the most critically acclaimed and best selling games in their respective genres. If you want to use quality as a barometer, Halo 3 is worth as much as pretty well every PS3 exclusive FPS combined and I would consider Gears of War a strong contender for most defining and influential game of the generation, for better or worse.
It would be just as fair to say that about the Wii U's first party FPS'. I do like Halo 3, though.
And I don't care much about influence. 3D Zelda games have nearly no influence on the industry, because developers cower in fear about the amount of work required in making them, but we value them because of all of that work, because they are rare, etc.
The funny and sad thing about it is that Scalebound hasn't received any coverage at all from Platinum Games. When Bayonetta 2 was being developed, PG constantly made blogs on their own website about the game. Hopefully E3 will finally show more.
It this turns out to be a PS4 exclusive it will suck... it's bad enough I need to play Scalebound somehow, needing all consoles to play Platinum Games is ridiculous. Wish they made all their games for Nintendo consoles, feels right at home.

Influence comes in a lot of different forms. You can trace a direct line back from pretty much every 3D 3rd person game to GTA3, which by its creators' admission, was heavily influenced by Super Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time. Those two games pretty much invented and defined how character movement in 3D space works and provided the blueprint to everything that followed. If Ocarina of Time didn't exist, maybe The Last of Us would have had the awkward, tanky controls of Tomb Raider or Resident Evil.
And if both Ocarina of Time and Gears of War never existed, maybe The Last of Us would have been... Telltale Games' The Walking Dead? ;D

Except The Last of Us actually had good writing, so it would have been Game of Thrones, not a Telltale game.

I thought Telltale's Game of Thrones wasn't very good.
Hence the GoT show, not a Telltale game.
I still feel a little sick after last episode. Next episode should see at least one dead Bolton and Arya cross off a name though, so hopefully ending the season on a high note. Next season, Bran, winter, and uncharted territory, book-wise.

Yeah, it was an unusually bad episode for little girls 0_0
As the reveal is on the same day as Nintendo's event I'm hoping it's a game for the Wii U. As the guy who was in charge of Vanquish is no longer with Platinum I doubt it's V 1+2, so what I'm hoping for is Bayonetta 3 for 2016.
Anything from Platinum will be on my radar though, I'm even considering buying a Xbox One for Scalebound.
Although the first gameplay(?) footage will be shown off by IGN on June 16. YouTube Live will reveal the game on June 15:
edit: If I'm correct, YouTube Live will start half an hour before the MS conference. I really need to find a proper E3 schedule.
it's almost impossible it's a microsoft game , because if it was their , the game play video will be show inside their conference in the same day ,not one day after they will not waste their moment when the hype of the xbox fan will be very high , same for sony , so the probability is a nintendo game is very high (but obvious it's not 100% sure )

Wouldn't that same logic apply to Nintendo? As in if it was a Nintendo game, it would've been included in their Digital Event. I'm not sure what it is, I won't get my expectations up because of that.

Things not included in Nintendo's Digital Event last year:
-Devil's Third
-Mario Party 10
-Anything 3DS that wasn't Pokemon or Smash Bros
-Pacman in Smash
-Codename STEAM
It was recently revealed that Scalebound won't be at E3.
Could that somehow relate to this? MS didn't want two Platinum-games at E3 so they pushed one back to gamescom?
