Hey, I saw some of the contents that will be in the next Smash Bros. Seems like some Melee characters are coming back!

... Yeah, don't believe everything people say, man.

Hmmm...I see ALOT of potential if another MH is made for WiiU and 3DS. I do also see that, because of hardware constraints, the 3DS's version would be...well let's just say not as good as the Wii U's :P BUT That does not mean it shouldn't have some kind of connection between the two systems. What I am thinking is the pair (Wii U and 3DS MH's) could have a really great connection between each other. What I'm getting at is that perhaps the 3DS's online won't be too great for MH ( I hope it is great and good enough for MH, but if it's not, than what I'm thinking could work great) and would end up having to be like it currently is on PSP (having to play Ad-hoc). If it is, the 3DS and Wii U MH's can have a connection between each other and treat the whole thing as just ONE game.
Imagine this: your playing MH on the Wii U and you still want to play but you have to go to INSERT PLACE HERE. So, you can save game on the Wii U and actually transfer all your data to the 3DS MH. Once the two systems have the same info and are both up to date on what each MH status is, you can play MH on the 3DS on the go, or when you currently cannot access your Wii U, and go hunting solo or by Ad-hoc with some friends and go HR grinding, go farming for lagi scales or w/e it is you want to hunt or do (remember this is only if the 3DS doesn't have the hardware needed for MH to have a great online, maybe it does but I just don't know). Once you get back home, you can go online and transfer all the data back to the Wii U MH. Everything you hunted, everything you collected, the amount of time you played, everything you did on the 3DS MH transferred back to the Wii U.
That's What I would like to see because sometimes I wanted to play MH but I couldn't get to my Wii or my brother would want to play some other game and all I wanted to do was farm alot of honey to make me some mega potions. You know...half days only pass when you actually play the game and nothing grows while your not playing MH's offline single player mode.
These are just some my thoughts for a great connection between the two systems....

I originaly thought I wanted it on 3DS. I figured 3D would be epic on Monster Hunter. Which it would, but for the long play times I like to dedicate to MH, I might prefer a TV. I think both systems have a lot to offer to the series. So maybe one for each? I full-heartedly support it though. I would buy it immediately.

...Ok at first I had the thought that "its not going to happen", but yeah...seems like Capcom is just tormenting me/us. I do remember hearing a rumor that the next will be multiplatform though.

It'd be smart for them to do multiplatform.

Because I really don't want to hear complaining and elitists- the Monster Hunter community is pathetic.

Monster Hunter wiiU is a definite buy for me. In fact, it would be one of the main reasons for me to buy a wiiU. Ill buy it anyways, but still :P

It needs some form of even better online though, and more epicness in its battles and such. Maybe they can play with an overworld instead of connected rooms, or something. I need farcasters AND nearcasters though if that ever happens :)

Tri was a huge online for me, so wiiU should top that. And what about a HUGE list of monsters, even added through updates over time perhaps? Oh boy oh boy oh boy the possibilities... CAPCOM! I want this! WHAAA!

But nobody ever listens! Buhuuu!

There are 2 MH's on Wii. One going on the Wii U is pretty likely :)

WiiU yes for me. I would think the "Tablet" would replace my keyboard. The same time alowing the option of wii remote ""plus"" and I say make the WiiU conctroller 3D/touch. I'd buy that no matter the cost. I would sleep with it. Doing some farming befor bed. Err'ly Morning Hunt! Ya! Babe Ya!!!

I think the built in Mic would replace the keyboard, whereas the touch screen would be the inventory.

To be honest I would prefer the keyboard...one of the main reason I avoided WiiSpeak...just don't like talking to random people over the internet...xD

I really doubt it would change anything. There are people out there that will go out of their way to "prove" that their version is better than the others (or in some cases try to prove that they are better than other people because they chose a different version).

I mean really, look at the TF2 fiasco when it went F2P. There have been people who have gone so far as to stop free to play TF2 players from playing on their servers. If that isn't elitism, then I don't know what is.

You may call me a coward, but at the end of the day who's still living, hm?

Sometimes I wonder if people bother doing any research before commenting.

I don't like to hear strangers either, keyboard suited me just fine. But let's be honest, wiispeak didn't even work with friends - that was the worst connection quality I've ever heard :D

But keyboarding it up with monster hunter will definitely work if you ask me. Touchscreen keyboard...? I don't know, the inventory does seem more likely... imagine real time item use? Combination lists? Quick commands? And speaking, I would be speaking with my friends, so perhaps an all muted unless otherwise specified setting would work?

I'm more interested in the online mechanic (most of all), whether or not they'll improve the "overworld" experience - could be awesome if they make it bigger / no room by room setup - and added monsters through updates. Give us much, much, more than tri had :P

But nobody ever listens! Buhuuu!

But don't you care more about the online than the single player once it hits shelves? I know I do....

@TheSolarKnight

Ah. That's the definition of stupid people. Yeah, when I was playing TF2, there's was some rude tacky comments towards F2P people. You would think "The more, the merrier" but people don't think the right way :P

Of course, fear of 'noobs', but really. That's for 5th Graders. And I'm sure even 5th graders have better behavior than that. It won't stop people from saying "This version is better", but who cares? Shut up. Play the game.

I feel the same about talking to randoms, however, I don't mind hearing other people as long as they talk and i only have to listen. So maybe the mic would be ok for them but I would use the keyboard to respond or w/e.

Hello Everyone,
I am new here but I wanted to add info about Monster Hunter Tri and why it ended up on the Wii. The biggest hurdle that Capcom faced when developing Monster Hunter on the HD consoles was development costs and overall time. If you look at the detail in Tri, you can only image that it would take years to create a full HD Monster Hunter. They didn't move to the Wii due to any other reason, that is straight from Capcom.
I am unsure on a WiiU title though, but, and a big but, no pun intended, Monster Hunter Frontier is rumored to be landing on XBLA in Japan. If you are not familiar, MHF is a MMO styled Monster Hunter for PC only.
Nice to meet you all.
