Topic: Mario 3d World is Amazing

I got last Christmas and burned through it and beat it within a few days. Now I'm going back and getting all the stars and stamps in preparation for captain toad (also getting for Christmas this year) And I am realizing truly how fun and so well designed this game is. Some of the collectibles are so cleverly hidden and the levels are really a ton of fun to play through and find all the secrets. Anyways if you own a Wii U and haven't played it yet I highly recommend you do.

Completing a Mario game was never the goal. The goal is to collect all the stars and visit the rainbow stages

Totally agree, it's the same with all Mario games, I still haven't collected all on this, or even on Galaxy and Sunshine

Yeah... it's truly amazing. I have yet to try Champion's Road, as I'm still collecting stars and stamps. My only beef with the game is the limited camera, which makes it hard to perceive depth(enemies may be closer than you think... )

This is the first Mario game I completed 100%

I have to disagree: I wasn't as into it as I had hoped I would be and every time I play it now, I keep saying to myself, "This would be awesome *if ..."

Anyways, I agree, 3D World is a really great game. It's far more fun and more creative than the NSMB series.

Yea, I am doing pretty much the same thing! I rushed through it at launch, but now I went back, collected everything, and I'm working through Champion Road (Star Road? Whatever it's called here). It's awesome. It's such a polished package of awesomeness.

I love the game but I never completed Champion's Road. I wish I had 300+ lives for that as in 3D Land.

I love it. It really needs to have a "Luigi U" style DLC pack. I need more content for this game

There's some sort of trick you can perform with green shells in W1-2. Guaranteed 400+ lives in less than 5 minutes!

Or just get gold cat, jump off some high place and turn into gold statue - you will get few lives with one jump. Or go for infinite coin block and smack it with your butt till time runs out.
This game gives a lot of option for getting 1-ups.

On topic though, it's still excellent game and my favorite Mario game of all time.
