Canvas Curse was pretty fantastic, especially for replaying, so I'm all for this.

Non-binary, demiguy, making LPs, still alive

I personally wanted it for 3ds... aw well. I like a sequel either way.

Was Mariobro4. No, I'm not taking off my backpack...it's important.

Odd that it's coming to Wii U, but I'm all for a sequel to Canvas Curse.

So happy!

The art style looks like it has potential.

I've wanted a convincingly claymation stylized video game for AGES.

Specifically a Claymation Earthbound sequel, but I'll take this too!

I just bought Canvas Curse (used) a few days ago since I've never played it. Uncanny.

Don' think it's odd, since it has a stylus, and 3DS already got a new Kirby game.

And Kirby looks cute, not angry?!?

This game will be 10 years old by the time Kirby and the Rainbow Curse comes out.

Looks like Rainbow Curse will be keeping the vehicle transformation ideas from Epic Yarn. Tank Kirby is adorable, especially when he fires a barrage of missiles lol. Looks too slow though, hope they speed him up or it's just for this vehicle.
Other than the slowness I love everything I've seen about this game. It is SO charming! The claymation style is beautiful and a genius successor to canvas curse.

Loved canvas curse so I'm gonna get this one as well. I hope it has lots of replay value like canvas curse though.

And the clay animation is superb!!!!!!!!!!

After so long...I'm back. Don't ask why

I love Kirby's Canvas Curse/Power Paintbrush so much, and was so happy to see a sequel announced. I think it would have been a better fit for 3DS too, but Nintendo need Wii U games so can't really blame them.

For the the clay to really display nicely, HD is required IMO.

However, I'm not yet sure about the GamePad interface for this game. I didn't see any Treehouse footage on what was displayed on the GamePad vs. what was displayed on the TV (if it was shown, I missed it). I would like to view the gameplay in HD for this game, not to be focused primarily on the small 480p GamePad. Is there going to be a difference between what the GamePad displays and what the TV displays? The "Mario vs. Donkey Kong" Treehouse demo was absolutely clear that the GamePad only displayed a part of the larger levels, and for that game the gaming interface made sense.

it looks like you can display the stylus icon on the tv so that can work out while watching the TV, but honestly, I find the GamePad screen to be more beautiful than HD sometimes ... I know with NSMB U I was more happy to just look at the GamePad. I think it's the size of it and all.

I would compare this game more with Mario 3D World, where it's playable on the GamePad but the details get lost.
