I want this game on my gamepad and on my gamepad alone. To heck with the TV, I want the largest touchscreen I can get right up to my face for this and that's the gamepad for Nintendo products.

Also screw putting this on the 3DS' bottom crappy small screen, might as well not even have graphics in that case.

Honestly I'm gonna wait to hear more on the full game, I'm hoping it'll include Wiimote support.

You're right, it would be a good iPad game.

Yes it would, but that thought's not worth entertaining even an ounce.

I was quite surprised to see a Canvas Curse sequel, I didn't expect them to bring this gameplay style back (also to see some Epic Yarn elements as well). But I guess since the Wii U can do it and we need a gimmicky Kirby spinoff to hold us off until the next main Kirby game (probably a main game for Wii U in 2016/2017ish), so why not? I enjoyed Canvas Curse to a degree, so I'll probably get it as some point.

The game seems to be a lot more difficult than Canvas Curse, especially when the people who made the freaking game are having trouble with it. Which is good because Kirby games are usually on the easy side, this one should be a decent challenge. I am a little worried about Rainbow Run mode though, last time I tried that mode I had so much trouble with it that I didn't even come close to finishing.

Yeah, stylus controlled games like this that count on precision, not just made so that clumsy finger-input gets you through like on mobile, are a dying breed. And I might be in a minority with the stylus control, but I've been wanting a Wii U stylus only game since forever.

Would love to get Kirby Mass Attack on the gamepad and even made a thread years ago about that lol

This game was my favorite on this years E3. The graphics are so darn attractive that I cant stop watching the trailer over and over again, the animation on the tree boss, just WOW. I think its smart of Nintendo to do stuff like this, its very creative way to bring their ip's into HD!

Can you handle the mangle?! DirtyMangle.com

The graphics do look nice, but I don't get it. Why would I want to play a Kirby game on Wii U where I spend all my time staring at the gamepad and using the stylus? Shouldn't this just be a 3DS game? My little girl loves Kirby Triple Deluxe on the 3DS - it seems they got things back to front. I wish they'd put that game on the Wii U. Or just make a nice HD Kirby platformer without gimmicks.

Well, at least it makes proper use of the GamePad, something many people have been complaining about.

4 player multiplayer justifies it being on wii u

Every time I hear that one of their mainstream titles gets multiplayer, my heart soars with glee. At least it's not the "multiplayer" of Super Mario Galaxy. Now I can play it with friends, like Kirby's Return to Dreamland. So awesome.

Always thought Yoshi would be the February title.. How does Yoshi, which was revealed much earlier than Kirby, come out later?

Yoshi was revealed very early in it's development and Kirby wasn't.
