I really haven't played many gamecube games, as I myself didn't have a gamecube (but have purchased some gamecube games for the wii).
1)Zelda: Wind Waker 2) Time Splitters 2 - I spent so much time playing this game at a mates place, loved it. Especially Virus mode. 3) Viewtiful Joe 4)Super Smash Bros Melee 5) Luigi's Mansion
Wind Waker - For obvious reasons, the way it plays, looks, sounds is just brilliant for any game. Fire Emblem - I love the story of this, and the character development is immenese Melee - Great game, great fun alone or with mates, I still play this to this day. Eternal Darkness - Scary as heck Paper Mario - Again another fun game, one that doesn't take itself serious and is rather enjoyable.
Special shout outs: Double Dash, F-Zero GX, most resident evil games, MGS.
I have noticed that although Luigi's Mansion didn't get the best reviews (more middling types), it still seems to be a fairly popular choice across the board!
1. Super Smash Bros. Melee 2. Pikmin 2 3. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker 4. Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door 5. Mario Kart Double Dash/Super Mario Sunshine (can't decide)

Had I played Twilight Princess on GC it would be getting top spot, alas I played it on Wii.

@vio Alright alright no need to get pedantic, others had posted their top 10 on this thread & I was just following suit. Too many great games on GC to choose only 5.
1. Super Smash Bros. Melee: Wow, just wow! A classic with plenty of modes and replayability! Even if you're not to keen about fighting games (believe me, I'm not), this is a must own game for your Gamecube or Wii and a must for every Nintendo fan. 2. Super Mario Sunshine: I do not why so many people dismiss this game. It's so fun and has plenty of great levels and locations and the gameplay is great. Plus, it's just fun to goof off around the many hubs. The definitive platformer on the Gamecube. 3. Paper Mario: The-Thousand-Year-Door: I never thought I would like RPGs, but the game is so hilarious and fun any gamer should give it a try. It's not as complex as Final Fantasy, but it's a great start if you've never played RPGs and is the best of the Paper Mario games, a must play. 4. Mario Kart Double Dash!!: A great multiplayer game that is sure to delight racing fans, or any gamer for that matter. It has great modes, great karts, courses and items. It's overall a great game, and if you dismiss it, you're saying no to hours and hours and HOURS of fun! 5. Sonic Adventure 2 Battle: A really good game that has some fun levels and an addicting Chao garden. Sure the treasure stage levels are dull, and the shooting levels are just ok, but the game has plenty of modes to keep you coming back for more. The soundtrack rocks!
Ok... Just so you don't say, "WTF?! Where's Metroid Prime and Zelda?!" Let me say, those types of games aren't my type. I'm sure there fantastic, but I just can't get into them.
