What is your favorite retro game(s) and do you still play it/them today on VC or on the original system? What's your least favorite(s)?
For me, i still play Starfox Assualt, Luigi's Mansion, Super Mario Sunshine, Kirby Air Ride, Pikmin 2, Paper Mario TTYD on Gamecube. Warioland 4, Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga, Zelda Four Swords on the GBA, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Starfox 64, Super Metroid on VC...
My Favorite is Metroid Prime, but no I don't play that anymore. As much as I love it, it was only good the first time around. My Least favorites are probably those licensed games I played on the GB and GBA. Rugratz, Scooby-Doo, Hamtaro, oh my!
Actually, I'd play Metroid Prime 3 again. I liked the gameplay in it. In the first two games I loved the immersiveness and the puzzles and exploration. None of that's as fun the second time around.
I have Metroid Prime Trilogy. I've only went through them like a couple times. It gets repetitive going through the same areas again for a new item dozens of times...some GCN games aged well, others...maybe not.

Not really Retro to me anyway is anything pre Gamecube, but I guess its all up to the person.
Anyway I still play alot of my old games I cant really say which ones are my favorite I have too many. I have a few on VC mainly the ones I cant find for said system or I bought when I didnt have the system but wanted to play the game. A majority of them are in cartridge from and I still pull the old systems our of the closet when I get a craving to play one of the older games.

Favorite: Megaman X (First game ever, special attachment, in addition there's great powers, bosses, levels, armor, music, etc.) Least favorite: Um...leap frog...?

It's weird...both titles are considered "sister" games as both run on the same engine and developed at the same time. However, for me, the enjoyment factor I get from playing Metroid is so diometrically opposite that of what I get from Kid Icarus that I can't properly put it all into words. Metroid is freaking epiccc!!! (To this day I'd still rather play in traffic than have to endure Kid Icarus). D:
Favorite: Super Mario World. I still remember that awesome comercial when the game first came out. Once I saw Mario on Super Nes I was blown away by it's coolness! Now you're playing with power! SUPER POWER! I went positively Ape and begged my mom for a Snes. I finally got it and spent the next month glued to the TV. Ahh the 16-bit glory days!
Least Favorite: The original TMNT on Nes. I know it's really a horrible game but because I was a Ninja Turtle freak back then I liked it anyway. Still sorta do only for nostalgia but I realize now it was pretty bad.

I was gonna say, "surely cou could find a worse game than Blaster Master", especially considering the fact that most of the problems you had with it are in most NES games. In fact, if things like that get to you, how the hell is the NES still your favorite console?
hey guys my least favorite retro game is Breath of Fire 2. It doesn't have enough story and there is way too much grinding. I'm also not a fan of turn based combat. Also, my favorite type of game is old school JRPGs. that makes sense
also, my favorite system is the N64 but I can't stand 3D platformers where you collect stuff!

Least Favorites: Rugrats: Castle Capers, The Legend of Zelda (It's near unplayable today), Super Tennis (boring as hell game), and All-Star Baseball 2003 (the worst baseball game I've ever played).
I could grind in Breath of Fire 2 for hours on end and not get bored for some reason.
that's because back then people actually focused on doing a good job at basic RPG grinding work instead of adding unnecessary crap or getting rid of it since they couldn't spend time to make it not suck. Or spending time watching only the crappiest of anime to inspire their characters if we wanna get into "too accurate" territory.

No, I'm not. I even hate the N64 Zeldas, both OoT and MM. The only Zeldas I like are the handheld ones and The Wind Waker.
Just 'cause you don't like it doesn't mean it's unplayable. I can play it just fine, and I suck at video games. I even have trouble with Kirby, and no, I'm not joking. If I can play it, so can you.
