One of my favorites too. Love to see all those major game characters I have come to love for over 20 some years together like that, fighting Ganondorf and Bowser. Classic. Too bad the new Smash won't have that...

Every Fire Emblem: Awakening cut-scene ever.
Two Falchions is the best cut-scene IMO.

haha, this — especially the opening scene. that's what actually had me purchase the game in the first place, i absolutely, positively had to know the story behind that opening set of cutscenes. I also greatly enjoyed the animated cutscenes they added to Chrono Trigger via Final Fantasy Chronicles and kept for the DS remake. Ayla's intro was always my favorite of those, and then I also liked the one at the end of the game that showed Chrono and Marle's wedding. :3

That said, @pianomanfreak it's been too long since I've played GS:DD for me to say for sure, but I know for a fact the 'cutscene' you're talking about in Tierkreis is more along the lines of you watching a pre-scripted chunk of dialogue play out via in-game character sprites as opposed to actual animated cutscenes that are somewhat movie-like in nature...

As for pre rendered cut-scenes, I like a lot of the stuff in FFX. Particulary anytime SIN attacks, and the romance scene between Tidas & Yuna.

SSBB had some good ones too, like some that have already been mentioned, like the "Great Invasion".

If they also count, the opening movies for Kingdom Hearts games. Those are always fun.

As for in game cut-scenes, pretty much everything from MGS3, along with certain scenes from the Kingdom Hearts games.

Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
