I think I've played about 5.000 to 6.000. That mostly consists of SSBB, Pokemon, Monster Hunter, Animal Crossing, and Zelda. But i know tons of other people that have played more than me.
Looking forward to other persons comments! By the way if you have played more than 20.000... your crazy!
I'm sure I'm pushing 18,000 by now, possibly more if my math is off.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

Umm, I'd say that depends on how old you are.
Anyway, I have no idea how I would be able to judge even remotely accurately how much I've played in the past 20 years or so, but I definitely wouldn't be surprised if it's over 20,000 hours, especially back in the mid-nineties when I was a kid and had nothing better to do than play Super Mario World and--a few years later--Ocarina of Time all day every day.
According to a pie chart, the approximate time I've spent playing video games... ~27,540.77 hours. That's taking into account actions such as sleep, school, studying, work, cleanliness, socializing, tv, internet, exercise, driving, movies, music, eating, paranormal encounters, reading, band, dating, spacing out, Hot Wheels, errands, daylight savings time, car accidents, leap years, physical therapy, Mega Bloks, power outages, shopping, pausing, Legos, drinking, Transformers, hospitals, traveling, calculating approximately how many hours I've spent playing video games, and lastly... trips to Disneyland.
What is the meaning of life? That's so easy, the answer is TETRIS.

[16:44] LztheBlehBird: James doesn't know the rules? For shame!!!
I actually keep track of this (kind of). All my play times of every single game I own are listed in my Backloggery. I don't feel like counting them up, but it is probably between 15.000 and 20.000.

It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
Many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many hours. Recently. But I'm probably behind everyone else because for the first 14 years of my life I was only allowed to play my DS OR my SNES OR the Wii for one hour on Fridays IF I had behaved all week, etc. etc.
Then I came here to America and played games freely. I must play, like 10 hours a day, now.
Maybe...(Not counting the times I was punished and not allowed to play games that week...)

I have never started a thread on NL. Maybe I'm scared of dragons and chickens.

Since I play for about 6-7 hours day, I swear my Wii's "Today's Accomplishments" is wrong. Counting in school holidays where I once spent 2 days with 12-13 hours of gaming time. Plus all the days I was playing my GBA, GBC, GCN, GBA/SP, DS, DSLite, DSi, PSP, 360... phew... I'm guessing way, way, way, way, way too many hours gaming.
Also with 1000 hours rolled into MH3, I'm guessing it way over 100,000 by now.
I don't have a set time every day, some days I play for 8 hours, other days I don't at all. It'd be impossible to figure it all up. But I can go with others and just say - 'a lot'.

I bet I've played more minutes than you have played hours
