Topic: Movies I Regret Watching

I'll usually watch anything but there have been some movies that I simply could not watch more than 10 minutes of. Tank Girl, Judge Dredd, Barb Wire, & Catwoman. Those were pretty craptastic. I've also never been able to sit through Daredevil or Epic Movie.

pretty much any film with jim carey in it, with exception to "The number 23", which was good, tbh i just jim is overrated.
another thing, any film where the age rating for sequals gets lower, they tend to lose alot what initialy made the first film(s) good. good examples of this trend, terminator, scary movie, robocop,

Another exception would be Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. The trailer made it look so awesome...what I was left with was over 2 hours of complete mind numbing cinema.

You guys weren't a fan of The Truman Show? A personal all time favorite of mine. (And I've always wanted to see Eternal Sunshine. I'll have to rent that)

What about "Yes Man"? I love that movie. Jim Carrey has been in a bunch of movies over several different genres. To say you hate them all makes you seem like you've only seen 3 of his films.

Just. Plain. Terrible.

What's wrong with Evan Almighty?

Gives cold, hate-filled stare

@Popyman. It wasn't very funny, makes a mockery of both Steve Carrell and Morgan Freeman (teo of my favorite actors of all time), and makes a mockery of a great Jim Carrey movie. It's further proof that sequels to Jim Carrey movies not starring Jim Carrey should never be made.

Star Wars Episode I. I found it rather boring.

Yes man (just not very funny and turned out to be awfully moral filled and romantic)
Click (it started out fine, but got ridiculous)
Transformers (just terribly stupid and uninventive. megan fox is nice to look at though)
Mario Bros (do i need to explain)
popstar (PIECE O' PERILOUS POO! my mom rented this thinking it was interesting, it sucked. my dad mistaked the title for pornstar at first, that was the only funny thing during the movie)

If I listed the long list of movies I regret watching it would take up the whole site

So I am going to put 1 movie. Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow

To me something I regret watching and something I didn't like are two very different though sometime overlapping things. I mean even a boring sequel of a movie that really ties in with the series I wouldn't regret watching. Like say episode 1 of star wars- most agree the next 2 episodes were better and since they were part of a trilogy wouldn't it have enhanced your appreciation of the next 2 movies? Also, if you saw epic movie or any of those movies and regret watching it why would you then watch another movie by the same creators?

@magi I'm curious as to why the first pirates was so much better. I watched pirates 2 and thought it was entertaining. First saw that the r rated version was listed on netflix then when I saw it was just a cut porn saw the real one.

@Magi: You just mentioned two of my favourite movie endings in The Mist and Seven. I like it when films shock, instead of wrapping things up nicely.

"Shocking" is fine...but making me never want to let my wife/kids out of my sight ever again is an entirely different matter.

lol true, but you have to admit that it was an extremely clever ending. It's not the type of ending you would expect from Hollywood. It had this heavy religious undertone which I loved and made it feel all the more real. Everytime I try to imagine what is going through that guy's mind, I shudder. It is an awesomely horrific ending, the kind that doesn't need extreme gore.

Eragon. I liked the novel so I decided to check out the movie. But boy, was this a bad adaption. It had very little to do with the book.

Problems with the second include: The "au natural" chick in the beginning (if you catch my drift. I've gotta be a little vague for obvious reasons). The bald-headed sweaty guy. I can't stand Bella Donna. I'm just not into the choking thing I guess and I think that part alone makes it very not couples-friendly. And most importantly...NO JANINE?!?! HELLO!! lol
