OK, my girlfriend is awesome. We couldn't see each other yesterday for Christmas, so we went on a date tonight and exchanged gifts and went out to dinner. I knew she'd been working on hand-making my present for some time, but i had no idea it would be this awesome. check this out. she cross-stitched this for me herself. i'm really impressed, and it's definitely going on my wall!

@Everybody: yeah, she's great! and the picture is one of the coolest things i've ever seen. now i really wish they had made an 8-bit mode on Brawl.
@TBD: i wrote her a poem which i got printed onto a woven blanket. so it was somewhat personalized, though i didn't put near the amount of time and work into it as she did.
@Super Smash Bros Fan: the blanket i got her cost $100. does that count as nice?

i plan to, and i am proud of her. she worked hard on it for about three months (she's very meticulous and wanted it to be just right) so it's great to know i mean that much to her. but i'll stop now before i get too sappy on you all.
