wow, who knew that i could get a cardboard ds??!?!?!

@Machu: I'd rather have the cardboard 3DS. Why is it that art students that make these mock ups always gotta go the futuristic high end high gloss ultra pretty technology route, that reminds me of mockups for the PSP2, problem is for gaming handhelds, that never happens.

What is the meaning of life? That's so easy, the answer is TETRIS.

@yoshdude64: lol, 3 Years from tomorrow is April 11, 2013 and we'll all be gone by 2012, so I guess you're agreeing with me that the type of futuristic DS you saw will never happen.

Honestly though, I've never seen any mockup of game hardware that an art student has made that has made its way to reality. Its like, either people shop an image and it looks fake, but somewhat believable or someone creates one out of thin air that will never see the light of day. No offense to art students, but to me, that stuff looks like unusable, unrealistic crap and I'm sure there are actually some people out there end up disappointed initially with the end result of what companies actually come out with, keep that stuff in school. Thus I'd rather have the cardboard 3DS, in my opinion it looks awesome and better than the likes of either of those fake 3DSs or the any fake PSP2s.

Dude that's amazing. And environmentally friendly! It better not be made of that cheap cardboard though like my house!

Yahoo!... I liked the tetris one, and the mario figures. The mario figures one looks like it would be a cool board game or RPG, because if you could really touch the figures that are 3d and move them around that would be awesome.
