Actually the DSi release date depends on where you live in the U.S. but yet that was still the Official release date. Some cities released it later or earlier which is surprising.

If I wait awhile after it's released, a better version will come out That's my biggest concern I have with getting a launch system, but since I decide to keep my DSi( mainly because of all of money I've spent on DSiware) I shouldn't have any problem with trading in a 3DS if Ninty gives us an upgraded system within a year of the 3DS. I just really hope Nintendo will give everybody a strong line up for the launch titles as well. Everything else doesn't seem like a deal breaker to me.
